You are correct, I hurried too much in my reading I actually don't count on getting the SB, but it was worth the 10% in ebay cards and 10% in ebay bucks. I should also get 1% SB when I spend the best buy cards.

How are you getting southwest points? via CC?

Yes, southwest CC, which I used via paypal since I can't spend enough gift cards right now.

I just went back and looked at a recent transaction & you are correct - only 1%

When I started clicking through recently, I only noticed the new "2%" part and blew right past the "Up to" wording. From Mid-November to early January, Swagbucks had a 2% Shop & Earn on all eBay transactions.

It's hard to keep track of this stuff! Last year I was only using ebates and mrrebates but I've added swagbucks, mypoints, and topcashback and there's so much fine print!

I found out the problem with my order yesterday was my target card. They sent me a new one I never received but cancelled the old one without telling me. Now I need to wait 2-3 weeks for a new card with a new account number.

I can't spend more than $75 in ebay gift cards until the 16th (I knew they'd have a 5x before then lol), but I'm okay with spending $450 for $495 in bestbuy gift cards, getting $45 in ebay bucks and 900 swagbucks, plus 450 miles with southwest Time to churn some bestbuy cards now and see what I can get

I am thinking of doing the same. I can't spend gift cards again until the 16th. I didn't think there would be another 5 x before then! You prefer going through swagbucks over ebates for this? Never mind I just saw your other post, I think I will go through ebates.

I have tried to use ebates for ebay transactions, and they don't seem to pay. Swagbucks usually does, so I still go with them over ebates, even if they are offering less.

I've only once had ebates not pay on eBay but at that point all gift cards were excluded. I always check and make sure gift cards are listed as a category on ebates.

Weird I just got 2 Disney gift cards in the mail today. One of them did not have anything to scratch off. All the numbers and security code were visible. I checked online and it was activated. I transferred the balance to another card through my Disney gift card online, just incase. Anyone every had one come like that before?

Could you be at your gift card spending limit? That sounds like the error message when you've hit your limit. Either 5,000 in 6 months for verified accounts or 500 in 30 days for non-verified accounts.

Wow, I take that back. It was my spending limit! I had a rough idea where I thought I was on the limit, but I was about a $1000 off! That was fast. Luckily, we had my wife's account ready to go, and several hundred $ will be lifted from my cap in about 2 weeks and more in about a month. Since I'm churning about $1000 a cycle now, we'll stick to the 4x and 5x deals -- and I'd even hesitate on 4x.

I was also having that problem a few weeks ago. Try logging out and logging back in. Someone here suggested that awhile ago and it worked for me.

OK- So I ran into a new issue today. I activated my 5x (didn't get the email, it was on the front page) and added $$$900 in cards to my account. Checked out with no issues and the confirmations page said "Congratulations you earned $17 Ebay Bucks!" (it might have been a bit different--it was the regular 2x amount). When I go into my Ebay Bucks page it doesn't show any earned Ebay Bucks at all.

ETA: Nevermind. Logging out and logging back in again did the trick. I earned $90 on that run. Phew! Crisis averted. I got a little sweaty when I thought I blew 900$ of my 5k limit on 2x. As a side point, I always know when there are 5x Ebay bucks when I check my alerts on this thread and find it has grown 4 pages while I slept. Haha.

The same thing happened to me once! It wasn't 5x, but whatever the normal Ebay bucks amount was, that's what was showing up. It was fine a few minutes later but it's a little terrifying when the number is 1/2 of what you thought it would be!

Totally! I do get a little adrenaline rush with these deals so I was paranoid that I didn't really activate the deal in my panic. Fight or flight took over. Haha.

Where did the card come from? The scratch-off part can be peeled off so it looks like it was never there. Or, I suppose, it could have never had the scratch-off part applied to the card; a manufacturing defect.

What is the limit on the Best Buy cards at eBay? I just churned $500 from Target to eBay and just waiting for the cards to activate. Ebay is letting me put $400 worth of the best buy cards in my card, but I can't check out so I am not sure if it will kick me back later. What have people purchased?

I'm concerned my 2 $200 ebay gc's that I just converted from Target will get cancelled. It has been a bit and I still don't have a confirmation of my email. I've been pretty lucky and have only been cancelled once before.

I just bought $500 in 3 separate orders and none were cancelled. Got them delivered, just waiting on activation.

For anyone going the Best Buy route during this promo, be sure to check bestbuy.com to see if Disney or eBay GCs are in stock at your local Best Buy store. You can do this by adding the GC to your cart, going to check out, and then selecting the store for store pickup. In my experience, you can use these Best Buy GCs to buy eBay GCs (and other non-BB GCs), but Best Buy sells eBay GCs in-store only so you'd have to do an in-store pickup once you order it from bestbuy.com. From what I can tell, online you can only check for $25 Ebay gift cards. None of the best buy stores around me have $25 ones, but they do have $50 Ebay gift cards, unfortunately you can't check to see if they are in stock in the store on their website. You would have to make a trip to the store.

I've cycled through the best buy deal twice now! It's a really good deal.
