I wasn't familiar with that word or that the mosquitos played that part in nature, cool to know. Gives me a new perspective, thanks for the info!

I empathize, @Neapolitan Ice Cream, since I'm also one of those people whom mosquitos seem to love. It's a love-hate relationship: They love me and I hate them!

For sure this is no consolation, but I got a kick out of the term "mozzies"! So thank you for that. I intend to use it going forward.

I saw a mozzie a couple of days ago, clinging to our car door--and it was about 20 degrees Fahrenheit outside here in upstate NY. Insects shall inherit the Earth.

Or invest in some OFF mosquito repellant spray. I hate using it but it works.
