Disney Gift Card Deals

Got mine too! Sorry for my ignorance - I've never got an eBay bucks certificate before. I'm assuming they don't typically run promos (3x, 4x) while the certificates are valid? If they do, would you earn eBay bucks when you pay with your eBay bucks certificate?

I earned eBay bucks on my purchases today, so I think you would. However, from what I've gathered, it's rather unlikely that they would run a promo while the certificates are valid.

Got my eBay bucks as well. What does everybody do when they have a little extra left over after ordering your Target cards? I found some low cost Starbucks gift cards to use up the extra and just went a few dollars over.

I was the opposite - I was a little short on reaching the next "tier" of gift card value, so I 'upgraded' with some PayPal money. I tried to use an eBay GC, but then it complained my eBay bucks certificate wasn't valid, so I just went with Paypal instead of fighting around with it.

Also unfortunate - if you order 2 different denominations from GCM, you get charged "full" shipping on the 2nd card. (i.e. $2.99 x 2 instead of $2.99 + $.99)

I am also going to upgrade my amount using Paypal. It will cost me about $47 more that I do not have gift cards nor ebucks to cover but I'll have to spend more shipping to go with a different denomination.

I finally just made my 1st Raise purchase, 50.00, Target card at 4.9%. I went straight to Target (per suggestions here) and only received 45.52. I'm so annoyed, really my 1st time out and this. Not really enough to make a stink over but not worth going to Raise if I'm going to be losing money. I did send them an email which I'm sure this is not going to be a top priority for them and it's certainly not worth my time and effort to chase down. What a bummer, I was so excited about this :sad2:.

So sorry that happened to you :-( I've never had a problem with Raise, Carpool, or GiftCardZen Target codes before but have had problems with CardCash. One rule of thumb I go by is to never buy a round number gift card (i.e. $50, $100, etc) because there's a higher chance of them having issues than the ones that end in cents (i.e. $62.93). It can be a bit more annoying to get the exact total amount you want but the peace of mind is worth it!

I haven't done it with gift cardmall, but usually on ebay if the seller offers a discount on shipping you can add it to your cart and then there is an option to request your total from the seller. You just write that you are getting different denominations and would like your total with the discounted shipping for the second gift card. Hopefully they would honor the way others do.

I had to call DVA which is also part of the gift card department today because I had issues with the DVA website not accepting thousands of dollars in gift cards. When I went to check the balance, the DVA wiped out the balance on the cards, but it wasn't recorded as added to my DVA. UGH. Took forever. The person on from Disney said, "where did you get all these gift cards? Target? We hate Target for that reason". My only response was that it saves me money. Turned out the DVA had the money from the cards, but I couldn't see where it was. There needs to be a better system. When I put my GC in, it records it as a gift card but never the gift card number. Also when I transfer GC to make one GC of $1000, I get an email saying it was done, but doesn't say how much or what card. When you are dealing with 25 grand it is just a mess. One thing I did discover is that when you want a refund if you have the card you want to use, you can get it on that card, or they will send you a new card. I was thinking if I had to use these hundreds of cards to get a refund, how would I ever figure it out? I just wanted to get the $20 rewards for each thousand deposited. What I realized is that I am $3 short to make one of the $20 rewards....so I withdrew $20 so that I can make the deposit an even thousand to get the $20. Gees. The things we go through!

I decided to go for the amount we needed for dvc dues. I missed the buy 2 $25 cards, receive the target free gift card. DH, Dd, and myself got the target cards that you could get the 10% off. Yesterday I finally got the $100 disney cards and my cashier shared he would try it can be very specific what gift cards you can buy with target cards. I thanked him for the knowledge viola disney cards in my hand.

I created my account with disney card site and transferred to one card less than 1/2 hour. This week next up call and pay dues for different contracts. Plan on paying larger first. Then smaller one. In case I need another form of payment for the last few dollars.

I do not think I am up to churning as some of you do. But my sister might come with us next trip and I might look into it for her.

Does anyone know if you can buy an ebay gift card with your ebucks certificate? I thought I read people do that do that they don't have to worry about it expiring, but I can't remember where i saw it.

I had a very good experience with DVA last year, and am using it again for our September trip. This was during the time the site went down for a bit and I think a lot of folks got disenchanted. Understandable, particularly for those that had auto-deposits with vacation balances due during the outage

I did combine cards into $1000 maximum before making the DVA deposits this time. I wanted to limit the number of giftcards on hand just in case we need to cancel our trip and they refunded to the original giftcards.

Thank you, if I decide to give it another try I will definitely go with an odd amount. I hope Raise responds, it's not the $ amount, it's the trust of handling it right.

I tried to find restrictions on the eBay site re: exchanging for eBay gift cards, but I didn't see anything, so... yes?

If you have a Target Red card, however, you could buy Target gift cards, earn more eBay bucks, then turn around and buy eBay gift cards at a 5% discount. You'd lose a tiny bit in shipping vs. going straight to eBay, but you'd make up for it & more with the savings.

hi so just trying to understand the best way to get disney gift cards with the most savings. I've been reading though the hundreds of pages and now I really don't know how to maximize savings.

from what I've gathered use target gift cards to order ebay gift cards. So do you get a red card 5% discount from buying the ebay cards?

when on ebay where are you buying your gift cards for target? I've seen so many for $50 and then shipping is $6 so you are paying $6 more so thats not a savings.

I did take advantage of the target sale in Dec 2-$25 get a $5 target card. Unfortunately those gift cards went towards annual passes and food on our last trip.

I have a good 8 months to save so any tips I'd appreciate you sharing. thanks in advance

Yes, you can purchase eBay gift cards from Target and get a 5% discount if you have a Red card.

You purchase Target cards on eBay from a reseller called Gift Card Mall. (They have their own website where you can purchase cards, but in order to be able to pay with eBay gift cards, you have to find their items through the eBay website.) Be sure you're signed up for the eBay Bucks rewards program. You'll qualify for a 2% rebate on all your Target gift card purchases and during special promotion periods, you can receive up to 10% back. GCM charges $2.99 shipping for the first card and $.99 for each additional card of the same store/denomination. One additional FYI, eBay limits you to $5,000 in purchases made with eBay gift cards in any 6-month window, should you decide you want to really go all out.

It's not $20 for every $1K deposited. It's $20 for every $1K SPENT on qualifying purchases. I'm sure that you have a huge trip planned with $25K in gift cards being deposited, but you have to spend the money on something before you can request your bonus, not just deposit it.
