Disney Gift Card Deals

I think it pays to shop around. With the Target pharmacy rewards program ending, i transferred my two prescriptions to Safeway because it was convenient to my workplace and they offered a promotion for a $50 Safeway gift card after you fill five prescriptions. I was really surprised to find that one of my prescriptions was 25% less expensive than Target. In addition, because Safeway is a grocery store, I pay with my Amex Blue Cash Preferred card and get 6% cash back. i also earn fuel rewards. I think Sam's Club or Costco are also worth looking into.

I switched my prescription to Sam's and with my Plus membership it is $30/month. Exact same manufacturer. I only wish I'd known sooner. Obviously this may not be true for every prescription, but it's worth looking into.

I had COMPLETELY forgotten that Costco has a pharmacy! I will check into their price because my co-pay is a percentage of the total cost. Thanks!!!

Also, @Eighty8Keys, I have been looking into that Amex since Costco is switching to Visa. So you get cash back for the grocery pharmacy purchases?

Consumer Reports had an article either last month or this month and it showed that Costco was generally the cheapest for prescriptions. That or local, independent pharmacies. Large drugstore chains and grocery stores were the worst.

I was going to recommend Costco too. I use it for the dogs' prescriptions but my mom has psoriasis and the prescriptions are insane but Costco is the cheapest for her.

I use the Walmart Savings Catcher app savings to buy Disney cards. I transfer the savings to a bluebird card and then pay at the register with it.
I also use the Walmart savings catcher. I love it, I had $72 dollars that I had earned since joining back in March and cashed them out during the holidays when Walmart had the Disney giftcards. Got $75 worth for two dollars and some change. Working on it again for next December. I also use the Ibotta app, it is amazing. Earned $37 dollars back in one month.

Hopefully others will learn from my mistake. During my Xmas shopping earlier in the month I saw Disney gift cards at Walgreens. I went home and ordered a rather large amount of Walgreen cards at a 13% savings from a card service. They came in today and I just got home from a very sad trip to Walgreens. The checkout girl tried several times and different ways to run it through. Called in the manager and all of my pleading fell on death ears. Walgreens will not accept their own gift cards for other gift cards. I'm to embarrassed to admit the amount I now have in Walgreens gift cards. Suffice to say I could never spend this amount at Walgreens in my lifetime.
Can you see the cards on Raise or Carpool? That why may be you can get most of your money back.

I always wonder why 10 or more $1,000 Target gift cards show up at one time on Raise.

I've read in the comments on MS blogs where people talk about being listed as bulk resellers for these sites, and also getting calls from the companies (Raise, Cardcash, etc) trying to get them to sell them more GC's. I think the people that get these are doing it for the manufactured spend. But I also wonder if the websites ever offer a better deal to the card buyers when their inventory is running low?

Does Target shows shipping not available instead of out of stock for gift cards? Just trying to do this for the first time and it looks like I have to just wait for them to come back in stock.

$100 is out of stock but $50 is available. They'll be back if you have the time to wait.

What is your personal must buy % if you see Target or eBay on Raise? What is the % you have scored? I have found the site Gift Card Granny that listed Best deal across several GC discount sites. Are there are any sites you will not buy from?

My minimum percent off is 5%. I usually buy from Raise or Cardpool but have found that Raise has better discounts. I have seen higher percentages such as 8 or 9 percent too.

Has anyone used Mypoints to order gift cards from Target and the Disney Store?

I use mypoints to buy the disney gift cards oat target. You don't have to add anything extra and I always get my points.

It's nice when they send you the special birthday and anniversary email with double the points because Target has always been included on that one.

I wait for 6% or better. I buy mainly from Raise or Cardpool. I don't buy from GiftCardRescue after my initial attempt where they charged my credit card but never delivered the e-card. I had to go via Chase to get the charge reversed.
