Disney Gift Card Deals

Someone had already wiped out stock of $25 cards at the first Target I went to. The second one had plenty, but they were enforcing a limit of 5 promotional Target cards per person, so you could only buy $250 worth of $25 Disney gift cards. I did get my limit at both electronics and the front registers, and I might have been able to go through different check out lines to get more, but didn't want to push my luck.

I was thinking that same thing. Im glad I got mine this morning. No limit and no trouble at all.

So our local target was out of the $25 cards; I asked at the check out if they had anymore and she asked a manager. He came over and said they were out, but because there was a $5 target card for 2 $25 purchased he would honor it with the $50 and give me the same as if I was purchasing the $25 cards! Sweet! Doesn't hurt to ask if your store is out!

My Target is cleaned out of $25's too, so I also asked if they would honor the deal if I purchased one $50 instead of two $25's. The manager ok'ed it but it was clear he did not want to.

Possible deal ... Raise.com has H-E-B gift cards for 8% off. In addition, this weekend the H-E-B gift cards are an additional 5% off with code TAKE5. I bought $210 in Gift Cards for $183.54 (12.6% off).

I'll run by H-E-B over lunch to see if I can buy a $210 $15-$500 Disney Gift Card with these. I doubt it. But even if not, I do my normal grocery shopping there, so there is no risk.

Good luck. I bought one of those HEB cards (to buy groceries with) and found out it's an e-card. Doesn't work in store.

If you go to HEB.com and enter in the gift card information, you get:

"Your Gift Card Balance is: $21.00
Use your Gift Card online or at a store near you today.
"

That being said, I put the gift card into my gyft app and the HEB scanners couldn't read it, and when they typed it in, the value didn't come up (I was just trying to buy a bag of chips to test it out). There is a slight chance the gift card wasn't activated yet, but more likely I am not using it right.

I think the problem is they tried to run it as a Digital electronic gift card instead of just entering the number as a physical gift card, which it actually is.

I've tried at two different HEB stores and been to Customer Service at one of them and none of them were able to make it work. I check the balance online and it shows a balance and like you said, it says "or at a store near you." But it doesn't work. I guess I'm going to need to find $50 worth of groceries to buy online.

Yep agreed which is why it's weird they are technically shorting you on that even though in theory the Disney cards aren't returnable.

If you used a gift card to pay, the cashier I talked to said you only get the 5% off anything you purchase that was paid for with your target card only. Kinda makes sense since the reason you get the 5% is when you use your credit card

I'm really upset with my experiance tonight at target. Like I said before I was only allowed to get two 5$ promotional giftcards. I was treated so poorly and they were actually very mean. This was my favorite store and I don't ever want to go back there again. I don't understand how targets are so different from one another.

That's super frustrating. The ad does state quantities are limited, so that gives each store the capacity to limit how many they'll sell you. Maybe try another store tomorrow with just a handful and see if they have a limit as well? I understand a limit but 2 is rather prohibitive.

Yeah I plan to try another store tomorrow. I think one thing that really annoyed me was the girl at the register rings me out for 1000$ worth and then decides to call a supervisor over. If you weren't going to allow it why waste my time and the customers behind me.

If I were you I would make a complaint with the District Manager. Did you happen to get a name? Very rarely do I make a complaint but at times it is necessary. However I also make sure to talk with a manager when I have excellent service as well. You can also return to the store and ask to talk to a different manager.

You can use gift cards for just about anything Disney. You can use it for packages, room only, park tickets, food, gifts at Disney ect
