Disney Gift Card Deals

Went to our target and it was signed that the $25 gift cards worked in the deal also. Ended up getting all $500 worth of $25 gift cards they had in stock. Got my 5% off and $50 in target gift cards. walked right over to customer service and had them combine them all onto one card for me. Kinda wish the had more in stock. I also saw that starbucks gift cards were signed buy 2 $15 giftcards and get a $5 target card also.

Hmm...just curious - did anyone not get a full 5% off the portion you put on your Red card? I noticed on my receipt that's "clean and easy to follow" at Guest Services, I bought 8 of the $25.00 cards so that's $200 total, earned $20 in Target cards and the package total shows $200 and then right under "your Redcard savings" and it was $9.00, not $10.00. My total on these was $191.00. Same for my DH when I had him run in and grab 8 more so $200 total and on his Red card it was $191.00 as well. Can't figure out why it's off $1.00 but for those buying a lot more than I did - just double check in case. Had I known this I would have asked as it's not really about the $1-$2 but I'm curious why it's not really 5% as the gift cards shouldn't be added in as that mathematically would still not be correct.

But I thought gift cards aren't refundable???

My head hurts - I think that's it. The refund value is $22.50 so if you take that from $25.00 that's $2.50 and times that by 8 cards (in my example) that's $20.00 and then lose the 5% Redcard savings on that is the $1.00.

Yep agreed which is why it's weird they are technically shorting you on that even though in theory the Disney cards aren't returnable.

Thought about opening a Target card...but I already get 2% back on my credit card. Cash back goes to Disney anyway.

Disappointed that it isn't applicable online. I don't live near a Target, so probably the soonest I would be able to get to one would be Friday.

By then, I am sure they will be wiped out.

They are selling you a $5 Target card and taking $5 off the Disney cards. You don't get the RED card discount on the Target gift card purchase.

Just went to target to buy 1000$ worth of giftcards was told I could only buy 4. Has anyone else run into this problem. I even spoke with the manager.
