what's the upside to spoon-feeding the internet your method if they're just going to abuse it to the point where it gets shut down?
This is pretty much it. I'm not here to help anyone else make money or take what I'm doing and multiply it 10-fold and get it shut down quicker. I'm here because by sharing ideas it helps me to make money. If you don't actually contribute, try something or experiment, then you are not useful in the process. That's just how it is! If you just show up and ask how others can help you that is kind of rude IMO. Both here and in most aspects of life.
But, some people out here are very smart and devious and resourceful, and collaborating with these people is mutually beneficial. Altho I figured much of my churn out for myself over the years, the Ebates parts and a few others like the GCM and PPDG limits I learned from folks out here, and that was a big win.
So, if you want to join in, then go read. Figure out what it is that you want to do with your money. Don't ask someone else what you should do. Investing in anything is a research project, not a set of instructions. It's your money! Why anyone would follow some instructions from random people on the internet w/o doing their own research to understand their risks is beyond me.
I can't really be mad at people who did more than me. Some did way more and got banned. (tho the people allegedly banned were evasive and defensive when asked about the amounts, so this remains suspect) Some did more and didn't get banned. Some did way less than me. I'm happy w what I ran thru the system when it was going, and that's all you can really look back on. Lani doing $1000/day doesn't bother me cuz I did double to triple that on a few days back in the hayday. Was probly playing with fire, but really, was just playing with money which is akin to Blackjack in Vegas. It was fun, and a rush.
Funny tho. Stay away for a few days and come back to 7 pages of drama. I guess that's what happens in a churn thread when the deals kettle is currently dry.
Here is another interesting story on MS, gift cards, money orders, and police involvement . . .
Thanks for this! Fun read, but I agree w most of his commenters that it's bogus, written to sell his seminars not a true story. I bet he even tells it at the seminars to excite people. And I also bet people who would pay to go to a seminar on manufactured spending are likely to believe the story. I suggest OP remove the link, because the Disboards should not be advertising for / direct-linking to a guy selling seminars.
