I was kind of hoping to wake up to news of an eBay Bucks bonus this morning (west coast here), but all I'm seeing is bad news about the Ebates glitch no longer crediting and Target .com no longer allowing GC for eGC purchases. I guess that's no eBucks this week, which leaves me pretty deflated about this whole churning thing with all the recent changes.

Anybody stuck with Sears gift cards....I tried my closest kmart, which is going out of business so they pulled GC kiosks. I decided I didn't want to hassle with driving all over and potentially being unsuccessful with churning so i went to cardcash. At the very top of the page you can get an ebay offer from the Ebay exchange site. They are offering to exchange a $100 Sears GC to an ebay GC worth $86.90.

Is the max Disney gc purchase from target $400? Or is it that you can only use 4 target gift cards? I'm confused on that point and don't want to risk getting my order cancelled and drawing attention to it

Target will only sell 3 $100's on a single order. But you could get around that by buying Disney and Ebay or Disney $100's and Disney $50's on one order. Then you're limited by the 4 Target gift cards per order. This typically got the limit up to $600 ($150x4) in the past.

Disney cards, yes, both. Anywhere on property. If you're staying onsite, it's easiest just to charge everything to your room via the magic band, then apply your gift cards at your hotel as payments every few days.
Disney Store GCs can only be used at the Disney Store.

I believe it's 3 $100 gift cards per order. You can use 4 gift cards max to pay.

4-$50 and 3-$100 is the max at target online. instore there really isnt a limit

It depends on the store's system, but as long as they are run as debit, I've had no issues. Visa/MC can run as debit; Amex always runs as credit regardless of store system. Regardless, for buying gift cards at GE it's a non-event; $200 Visa gift card gets you $200 of the gift cards you actually want.

Thanks I did see the shop and save ad. However I'm not 100% sure how pump perks works as I have never actually used it. Can you redeem up to the cost of gas or only a certain amount? Also how quickly do they expire? With GE you can redeem up to the cost of gas so I usually fill up when I am empty. There are a lot more Get Gos around where I live/shop than Sunoco so it is easier to do for me. If I could only redeem a portion of my pump perks it would be harder for me to fully utilize it if I bought a lot of gift cards.
@Friendlyadvice2 turned me onto the whole visa double dip idea. You lose a portion of your credit card cash back since it is a $6.95 activation fee per $200 but you get an additional $0.80 off per gallon of gas per $200 if you buy the Visa card and then use it to buy the other gift card when there are double fuel perks on both cards. I get 17-18 gallons when on empty so I save $13.6-14.4 on gas but lose $6.95 per $200 card (% lost in visa fee is lowest by buying the $200 cards). If you get the full 30 gallons you'd save even more.

Just wanted to let you both know that I went to Shop n Save today, and they do not offer the fuelperks on the visa/mastercard cards. They have a sign by the gift card display saying so. Shame too, as they had mastercard ones that you could load anywhere from $25-$500 and the activation fee was only 4.95 (it may have been 5.95, but I know for sure it wasn't 6.95). I still ended up getting a $500 Disney gift card and I'll get the full 30 gallons so I'll essentially save $60 on it, but really wanted to get into the double dipping. Will have to wait for Giant Eagle to do another 20 cent promo.

just ordered today thru ebates a $50 dis gc with a $50 target gc(physical) and added my pencils.... it did't show as a purchase trip on ebates (just lik emy groupon a couple of weeks back!) annoying but I've been having some issues with ebates and not just this 'churn' stuff..... anyway happy to use that gc online,get the R/C 5%,and save a smidge of money.

The Target site seems to be back to normal now (at least on my work computer). Still no eBay GC, but the site looks normal again. I was able to order a $100 Target mobile GC using 4 $25 Target GC and also ordered my daughter two bathing suits. I will update when I get the eBates.


UPDATE: I received cash back from eBates for the two bathing suits, but not the gift card (as is correct per the eBates terms and conditions.)

I did receive my text with the digital Target card, so we can still combine Target cards online.

Question-- what is the difference between a Disney STORE gift card, and a regular Disney gift card?

I want to consolidate my small ($25/$50) cards onto a single card before my trip, and I went to the store and got a card from them for $15 specifically to transfer my other cards onto.

Are you guys saying that if I put my small balances onto the card from Disney store, I won't be able to use them in the park? Yikes!

Good morning. Question for the experts as I will soon spend a bit of money paying off our final balance. Luckily a $5,000 bill for our family of 5 is helped significantly by $3,300 on our Disney Visa w/rewards. Paying the balance and it looks like the gift card option will save us something north of $100. Yes, my intention is to buy about $1,700 in Disney Gift Cards and then redeem them to pay off the balance. My travel agent indicated that you could load multiple cards on a specific Disney site, and that once they were all loaded, I just needed to provide him with the confirmation codes.
Two questions:

1) Will I face any problems buying such a large amount of gift cards either online or in-store?
2) Has anyone had any problems using the online portal to upload gift card #'s?
3) Any strategy as it relates to the actual gift card purchase, i.e. going to specific retailer, if Target, using Red Card, etc?
