Disney Gift Card Deals

I've never seen Target cards in my Price Chopper. I would love it if any grocery store around me sold them.
I'm going to run into mine as soon as I can and see if they carry them. This doesn't help us earn ebucks though so I'm still pondering my options there.......

I agree. And I have Amex but my only gives 3% back at grocery stores so it's not as much incentive as the 6% card.

yeah.... this is interesting..... it's been stated on this thread SO many times... the nature of churning (for anything) is variable and completely YMMV from one day to the next- things can and do change regularly, and the more people learn about one way to do things, the quicker it changes. It's how it works,so I personally don't think the "simple" route of ebay/target/ebay is coming back, ever,in the way it WAS done. This thread is full of info, but most of it is now (sadly) out of date. Churning, by it's nature isn't usually 'low hanging fruit' or 'easy'. It takes some time, effort, and thought to get that extra deal,or everyone would do it,and it wouldn't be a special deal, it would simply be the price. In most other forums, you really have to DIG to find the info to even begin. Why? b/c the deal lasts longer that way. (I've been learning things about churning for 3 years now,I don't use most of it tho) While I love this board, and this thread, it has its downsides, and that is 'too much information' can kill the deal. So reality? No one can tell you exactly what to do next, you simply watch, and wait(if you can) google terms you don't know, and learn to read between lines.... and most important,NEVER risk what you can't afford to play with. Even if I never make another cent in discounts on this idea, I always have an idea of how to get (at least) the $$$ I put into trying this.

Couldn't agree more. :)

Last time Paypal made it so easy that anyone could do it, it killed the system. I liked when it was challenging and it had not caught on but was lucrative. It's best to come up with your next strategy yourself, quietly. Cuz if you read it online, then chances are you're late to the game and it's in the late stages.

To those who keep publicly saying what you're doing isn't illegal... You all realize it's violating Service Agreements when you cause systems to pay out in unintended ways... right? You can't just say "well it's their glitch that pays me so it's their fault". If you are exploiting glitches for personal gain, it's definitely risky business and not to be done without consideration for what you would do if one of the business partners just shut you down one day. And then when deals do close up, I watch the paranoia ensue when it was emphasized not to churn with your actual vacation dollars. First rule of gambling is you don't gamble with money you can't afford to lose. Definitely interesting how 900 pages of chat is now moot.

Couldn't agree more that's why I'm not pissing and crying that my vacation money is gone. Sure I'm stuck with some eBay cards but I can deal with that and I lost some eBay bucks that were "free" money anyways. None of the money I had tied up will affect me financially. I cringe when people, say there vacation money is tied up in eBay, etc. I'm bummed PayPal cut me off so I'm out of the game for now but I made quite a few gains.

Can't you just open a new Paypal account? If they are tracking you by address, use a new email and your work address or something? Or neighbor? Friend? There's gotta be a way to get a new account. Yours is the only case I've seen where they totally killed doing business w you. Worst case a friend you know with an account who can spend your Ebay GCs and convert them? If you were local I wouldn't have a problem doing that... if they are unlinked codes anyone can spend them.

Haven't you posted about adding items to target orders to get ebates on gift cards? Would that be illegal/violating service agreements?

I rarely used ebates for gift card orders from Target. But I use ebates regularly and often pay with gift cards. I learned last month that I shouldn't receive ebates on those items. I guess I've been engaging in illegal activity???

I think I'll try it but probably wait until EBucks redemption that way if they shut me down I got them back. My Ebay account wasn't affected so it just might work! Thanks!

I guess so, yeah. No comment on what I have churned. ;) I've also never claimed it was a legit transaction, or what Ebates or Target intended. I also believe this loophole will close in the not too distant future since Target's reviewing everything else.

Is that a rule? That using EBates and paying with GCs should not trigger EBates on any product? If so, I didn't know that. All along I thought the main glitch people were using was the extra item to trigger payments on GC's purchased.

Here's how I added to my churn fund on Tuesday (in the evening, worked my 'real' job during the day)

First Stop:
Was offered a bonus to complete a secret shopper job at a major retailer. Can't name it, but it's often discussed on here. That paid $20.
I also got 50 Kicks from Shopkick for walking in the store; and I checked in with MPlus Places (and stores in immediate area) and earned 150 coins.
I made a small purchase (gum) at the Secret Shop store which I needed to verify I was in the store ($2).

Second Stop:

Next went to WalMart where I was offered $3 to do a Field Agent task. I did that and bought items for my family. I earned 35 walk-in Kicks from Shopkick and scanned codes for another 50. I could have done a lot more, but I was ready to go home.
I checked in MPlus Places and got 100 coins.

Third Stop:
My daughter is sick with sore throat and wanted a Frosty. I went through the drive-through at Wendy's and while sitting there completed my mPlus Places check-ins for the day (25 a day limit).

Home:
I took the receipts from the above places and entered them in Receipt Hog, Find & Save, WalMart Savings App and Ibotta.

Today, (after 24 hours) I will open the prize boxes from mPlus Places which will net me another 100-200 coins.

Edited to add: did an Erewards Survey for $8.75 (their currency). That will become SW Rapid Rewards points. Also got a payout from a Swagbucks Shops and Earn (1700SB).

All of these earnings (except Erewards) will go into my churn fund and eventually will become Disney gift cards.

Yes. I think @marionette pointed it out to me last month. It's in their general terms which I didn't know until then. But it's odd because lands end has it in their specific terms and Lands End never credits for me if I use a gift card. Everywhere else it works but apparently shouldn't.

For those of us who brave the road and do the the cross country drive for our Disney Trips - SVM has EXXON/Mobile on sale for 10% off. Just another way to use those Ebay GC. I like this one and hoping for a Promo to take total advantage of it :car:

I've been eyeing the Chevron $100 for $92, also from SVM. That's where I buy gas because I can use my Safeway fuel rewards for up to a $1 off per gallon. $100 could last me up to three months of fill-ups depending on the fuel rewards I earn. Then I'll take the $100 I budgeted for gas and spend it on a Disney gift card, likely at Safeway where I'll get 6% cashback with my Amex plus more fuel points.

I may grab one for our drive to Port Canaveral. Locally I always fill up at Kroger.

They also have other gas station cards on sale. I bought a Sunoco one for $92 yesterday with free shipping-we drive the PA turnpike a lot and that's the gas station at the rest stops

This is a great deal for me since I get my eBay gift cards around 14% off at Kroger. So I'm saving around 25% on gas for road trips.

My price chopper sells them as well as many others types of gift cards.
My Price Chopper does carry them. Now I have to make sure I'm maximizing my profit. 6% off by purchasing Target there with amex, 5% redcard buying Disney through target.com and 2% ebates is 13% Anyone else with a cash back at grocery stores see any other way to add to this?

I just got an email from eBay for GS cards, buy $25 get a $5 bonus. Of course it's PPDG.

I never got it to work on the last promo. Literally tried all afternoon. It either locked up my account or said that I couldn't use a gift card on the item. I don't know why PP cares. It's not like it's THEIR gift card. It's an eBay card and they are separate companies.
