Disney Gift Card Deals

Thank you for this info. I was able to take advantage of both the 20% off BB gift cards(then turned them into Disney gift cards) and the $10 off $20.

Looks like BB got swapped for Southwest, which actually works for me since I have 3 flights coming up.

I have been waiting to see if Target cards would be restocked before the ebay bucks promo ran out, but no such luck. THen I tried to buy BB GCs to get the bucks, but NOW, after putting in my ebay code, I got a message that PPDG only allows PayPal, PayPal credit or a credit or debit card. I tried to buy another kind of GC from them, just in case it was a problem with BB, but got the same message.

I am hard pressed to think of anything else I need that is a minimum of $100, but it kills me to miss out on this promo.

I wonder if they are going to post a new listing with stock tomorrow or completely stop? Fun to speculate.
I think Target just stopped selling cards to GCM. In my opinion, it's was just too convenient that they also stopped selling Ebay gift cards at the same time. They figured out what was going on, and put a stop to it the best way they could. Taking Ebay off the website and putting a stop-sell on the gift cards to GCM.

I'm sorry. I have no idea what that means.

Your milage may vary. The POS system will allow it, but the employee might deny the purchase as it has been banned in some areas with the district managers.

I've encountered that message before -- one of the many PP errors I've experienced. What I can tell you is that I bought BB GCs from PPDG this evening paid for entirely with eBay GCs, so as of tonight it was working for me.

If that was the case, wouldn't it be easier to just change your policy to say that you cannot purchase a GC with a GC?

It would be easy to change the policy, but there are many variables in play here that we're not probably aware of as to how the website system works as they sell gift cards online and you can pay for things with gift cards. Best Buy has a policy that states that you cannot purchase GC with GC, but the website and the POS system in store will still allow it. The orders that everyone was putting thorough recently were then cancelled as the person at the distribution center going through the orders was probably aware of this policy.

Target also may not have the staffing for someone to go through every single order and make sure they are not paying with gift cards.

...Or everything I'm saying might be totally wrong.

I hope I'm wrong.

I'm wondering about the possibility that Target may be getting ready to sell their own gift cards through their eBay store. Maybe they had to wait until GCMs listing closed, or had some kind of contract they had to let expire.

I'm not as concerned about eBay cards not showing in Target's site, because I've seen them disappear before.

It's worked for me in the past, that's why I tried again.

I just tried to make a PPDG purchase a few minutes ago, and on the confirmation screen, it removed my gift cards and made paypal my payment method. Could not use gift cards, looks like another Avenue is dead.

I tried to make a last minute order of $200 in gift cards, it showed I was getting $20 back in bucks, but after my order was completed, it shows I earned only $4 back in bucks. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

I doubt and hope that's not the case. GCM sells target gift cards in a lot of places including Kroger.

I wound up buying a jogging stroller I had been debating. Not only was it a fair price, but I also save on babysitting money for those training times when hubs is out of town.

Has anyone else had Paypal charge your credit card as a cash transaction when buying gift cards on GCM?
I got slapped with a $10 fee on my CC for paying the $3.98 shipping charge with it when I bought Target GCards from GCM.

I can't believe I had to pass on this 5x promo and both myself and DD got it. I tried to get the 15% off travel giftcards but couldn't find it. None of the gas giftcards worked for me and I really don't need to purchase anything else. I'm at Disney now and just checking in a few times a day. Hopefully the process comes back somewhat otherwise I'll be looking for a way to cash out entirely.
