As anyone been denied gc to gc purchases at Best Buy? I am thinking about trying it ( if I can ever purchase PPDG without being locked out). I checked my bb last time I was there and they had Disney and eBay gift cards.

Does BB stock Target GC's??

I called my BB the other day and asked if they sold Disney gc and she said no, I asked if she was sure and she 'looked' and said definitely not. I didn't believe her so called again today. I actually spoke to the woman who stocks the gc's and she said of course we do and was glad I called back. She told me to ask for her if I needed any help in store making my purchase. So they carry Disney gc's, and Ebay gc's, including loadable gc's. I asked and she said I could pay with my BB cc or my BB gc's. So that's good news.
I did ask if they stock Target, as she named others they stock now such as Kohl's, but no Target or Walmart gc's.

So, does anyone have an easier time getting BB cards vs GS at PPDG? Might take a chance at getting some in case it works but don't wanna get locked out. We only got the offer on my Ebay account, not DD25's.

If I get BB cards, is there any reason to not just go in the store with my eGC's and buy the Ebay cards there instead of online and probably getting the order cancelled? Is the only real way to use an authorized seller of BB to go thru PPDG?

With my goal of making some Ebucks right now, (not needing to cash out till maybe another 5+ months for Nov trip), trying to decide if trying to do the PPDG BB or GS cards is worth it, or just going with buying GS thru GCM and having them send physical gc's to then use in store after they arrive to get my ebay gc's.

My luck, if I go for the physical GS gc's and have to wait for them to arrive by UPS, GCM will restock the Target gc's which is great, but then I'd worry I'd just miss another promo offer next week by a day, again like last 4x offer!

Any help with talking this out would be appreciated as I've got no one here who gets all this stuff, lol. DD25 just thanks me and says that's great, lol! But she's no help in deciding a good path!

My trip is mid september. Just started churning in February, lurked for a few months before that. Not sure what to do here...bought a 250 HomeDepot GC on Ebay yesterday with the 3%Ebates (no email from Ebates yet indicating it went through though) because I am saving up to surprise DH with a Weber Grill for Father'sDay. Had been buying a $50 Home Depot card at my Giant Eagle every other Friday (payday) to get the gas promotions. So I decided to just get a bigger denomination and use that goal in case this Target/GCM sputters out. May spend some more of my Ebay GC's for another Home Depot card to not only increase the fund for the grill but take advantage of the ebucks.

But then I think, what good are the Ebucks if I can't get the Target GC's from GCM anymore?? Being a bit dramatic here, could always get WalMart or whatever (for gas, clothes, groceries) and spend the cash funds towards Target->Disney.

Maybe I am frustrated, as I was finally seeing a good "profit margin", but it seems like eBates, Ebay, Target, GCM...they all are in cahoots!!

Not Disney related - but if I buy a Southwest gift card from Paypal Digital Gifts, can I use it to book a flight if I am also using travel funds? I currently have $45 in travel funds I would like to use but I'm considering paying OOP for some Southwest gift cards to pay for the remainder of a flight.

ETA I guess it's somewhat related because that flight would be taking me to MCO.

As far as the gas cards go, it varies. At Sunoco I can swipe it at the pump like a cc. At Circle K I have to go inside to pay so I avoid that one. I check with the gas station I'll be using before I buy because I only want them if I can swipe at the pump.

I have already cashed in $100 of my eBucks towards a Hyatt gift card so that credit would cover (most of) the rest. If I can't get Target from GCM (which would be converted to Disney eventually), then I will just use my eBucks to get another Hyatt gift card. Then, I can use my AMEX credit to pay on my room charge at WDW, which would serve the same purpose as a Disney gift card.

You can use up to 4 forms of payment on a Southwest reservation. So, you can use your $45 in travel funds and then three other forms, such as gift card, credit card, etc...

I just tried it with a combo of eBay and Disney GCs and the entire order got canceled. I'll have to go into the store to give BB a try.

If you haven't already, make sure you sign up for hyatts rewards program, if you have any chase ultimate rewards cards that can transfer you can get a really good deal at the hyatt mco. We stayed there about a month ago for $75 + 6,000 hyatt points. It was really nice to not pay over $300 a night to stay on property. We were able to relax for a while, get a good night sleep then start our disney trip well rested.

2. How does a gas gift card work? Do you run it through like a credit card?

I can only speak to Speedway cards, but yes you just insert the card, and when you're done the receipt will print showing the remaining balance on the card.

Awesome - thank you!! I had $150 in eBay gift cards that I used to buy $200 in Southwest gift cards and only had to pay $20 out of pocket, $17 of which will be paid back to me in eBucks, and that doesn't count any eBates I'll earn!
