My Disney gift card order from BB was cancelled.

Well so much for that theory.

The cancellation email said they were unable to verify my information so they cancelled items from my order. Not sure what that means. In the "What you need to know" section they suggest making sure my payment verification matches my bank info, calling my bank, using another form of payment, or making my purchase in store. I used their own gift card so I'm not sure what I could have done differently.

I'm not looking forward to doing this in store but it will be nice to get the variable load cards instead of a bunch of $25 or $50.

Well, after several lockouts yesterday, I was able to buy $150 in BB GCs from PPDG very early this morning. Ordered $150 in eBay GCs from BB and it got cancelled immediately. I'm now trying $50 increments. We'll see. If not, I'll just miss out on the 150 SBs and get them in store. I'm going to try my luck later on tonight with PPDG one more time to get a final churn in with the 5x.

I am pretty sure everyone who has reported using Best Buy gift cards to purchase gift cards on their website, whether they're having it shipped to their house or the store, has had their order cancelled.

I don't like doing it either, but no cashiers have given me a hard time or said "I can't do this" - it's just awkward!

I was able to order a $25 Disney card on Friday so I was hoping to have the same luck with eBay cards. It's reassuring to hear that cashiers are on board with this and not implementing their own version of store policy. Thanks!

UGH. I am just about done with PPDG. Who has the time to sit here either on the computer or on the phone with them to figure out why our accounts are locking up 24/7!? First I missed the Southwest sale last night because it wouldn't go through, now I can't even buy Best Buy cards. Target via snail mail is annoying, but so much easier IMO.

That was the same message that I got...yet they had my BB Rewards number with the order (even though I didn't receive points for it) and I've been a member of that program since its inception. I think it's just a standard response for GC->GC canceled orders.

I'll be going to my local BB to give it a try this afternoon. I hope they have either Disney or eBay GCs in stock. I'll report back later.

I looked through the rewards and it looks like you can get Fuel Circle cards that are good at a bunch of gas stations. Since we drive to WDW my plan is to bank those up so I can reduce my gas budget ($400!). Otherwise you can do the creative budgeting and take the money you would have paid for gas and put it in the vacation fund. Personally, I'm not going to throw away fee stuff

So, I called Paypal this morning because I could NOT get my account verified for whatever reason. The woman was actually very helpful and she told me that the reason my account locked wasn't anything I did, but at the same time I was trying to purchase something, someone tried to log in to my account in Chicago (I don't live anywhere near Chicago). So that's why it was locked apparently.

I was just checking out at Target.com with one $100 Disney GC and one $50 Disney GC. After adding shipping information, the $50 card was taken out of my cart. When I tried to add it back, it said that it was out of stock. Boy that didn't take long to empty their stock, very disappointed

I've had this happen, but then I just go add it again and it works. So quite possibly a glitch and not running out. Unless you tried to re-add it and couldn't.

But then I think, what good are the Ebucks if I can't get the Target GC's from GCM anymore?? Being a bit dramatic here, could always get WalMart or whatever (for gas, clothes, groceries) and spend the cash funds towards Target->Disney.

What good is $500 for free that you can spend on pretty much anything you can imagine... [?] Ebay sells everything but true love... and I guess Target cards when they run out.

Maybe I am frustrated, as I was finally seeing a good "profit margin", but it seems like eBates, Ebay, Target, GCM...they all are in cahoots!!

There's still money to be made out there. Like your grill... converting to Home Depot is a great out. I spend thousands a year at HD when we're not doing a home improvement project.

I actually worked for Best Buy back in High School for a little bit. There was this employee who rang up a guest and had a dollar on a gift card that they didn't want. The customer was nice enough to give the gift card to the employee to use on whatever they wanted. The employee used the gift card on a candy bar and paid a couple extra cents on a debit card as we would always buy snacks next to the POS systems. Well, they audited that transaction of the candy bar purchase down to the employees debit card and fired them because it was "against company policy." They literally go through every transaction at Best Buy.

I bet Best Buy is looking at most of the cancelled GC > GC purchases everyone has been making. Since I'm over and done with PPDG, it's not really an issue for me... but a major increase of GC > GC sales could revert to them taking it away in store too. I hate to be that guy, but in store purchases are pretty much almost 90% to work as employees are usually clueless about actual policies besides the price matching ones.

Just skip the website and go in store to buy them. Keep the dream alive!

I am this close do swearing off PPDG for good. I've had to call TWICE and it still won't let me purchase anything. I'm about to get my SW gift cards from Target and save 5% and get Ebates.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I haven't been churning in a while (just didn't have time to deal with it) and have scrolled back through the past few pages of the thread and didn't see any mention.

Does Target no longer sell eBay GC's online, or are the just out of stock? They aren't showing up at all either by browsing the specialty GC section or by searching "ebay gift card."

It seems from reading the last few pages that this process is only getting more difficult, with Target & eBay being out of stock of each other's cards (or no longer selling them?) and orders being cancelled. I currently have $750 in Target, $102 in eBay, and $25 GC + $10 rewards for Best Buy. I don't want to add GameStop to the mix, or invest too much in Best Buy, in case the GC->GC churning at those stores goes bust, since I really have no need for the other products they sell there. I might just start converting my Target to Disney, and add to my stash via rewards programs & cash back.

I was hoping and praying that I would wake up today and see Target back in stock at GCM....since that's not the case, I need to make a decision about what to do with the 5X offer both DH and I got. I've never, not once been able to order from PPDG, so my options today seem to be GS. I popped into my local store yesterday and they do have loadable eBay cards. I was really uncomfortable though because I was the only one in the store and I'm pretty obviously not a gamer. When the employee asked if they could help me, I said I was just looking around to see what I could spend a gc on since I don't play games. On the way out I asked if I could use my gc on other gc's and he said sure. I feel like I'd only want to do that once in a great while since this is a slow store and I was really uncomfortable. We do have 2 other stores with 30 mins away, but I'm really not loving this GS stuff. I'd much rather try BB (busy store) or please, please, please!!! go back to Target. Sigh....decisions, decisions....

I was able to buy a $300 ebay gift card from Best Buy (in store) with the $300 worth of digital gift cards I purchased yesterday. The cashier didn't bat an eye, asked for my rewards number, and then asked if I wanted to apply for a Best Buy credit card and get $30 off today. The screen said 5% off so maybe that was a promo for the day you apply, or maybe she miscalculated, but either way I declined. I prefer Target due to the online option and and I have several stores physically closer to me than Best Buy, and I don't want to get stuck with Best Buy Cards, but for now this will work for me.

I just want Target back too! I'll gladly forfeit the 5% online since I was getting increasingly worried about getting banned.

I'm now wondering if GMC hasn't pulled the listing because they can't. I was reviewing the revisions they've made to the listing so far and at the very bottom it says, "The seller may make revisions during the listing period. However, the seller cannot change some of the information, such as format or duration of the listing." With the listing due to expire at 3:33pm PDT tomorrow, I'm wondering if they are just running out the clock. Not sure if they'll just let it expire, renew the listing, or start a new one. I know I'll be checking eBay tomorrow afternoon to see what happens. Not that I haven't already been stalking them.
