Do you get the BB rewards still when you are paying with a BB gift card?

I did not when I placed a small order last Friday. I did get Ebates even though gift cards are excluded.

For those who have been locked out of Ebay from PPDG, how long does it take to reset? And how do you know your account has been unlocked? Do you just have to attempt another order?

I don't think so but I shop there often for items and frequently get the rewards.

I've got about $70 in bb rewards now I will combine with a gc to get me the rest I need for my DLR trip in June. I'm contemplating ponying up the cash for this ebucks on the one account I got it to start a new churn for my october trip as I've decided to cash out what I need to pay for DL completely and I should have a couple hundred left to put in a new round when I'm back.

They expire the end of the month after you accrue them. If you earn them today, they would expire June 30.

Yes, I tested it with a $25 BB GC ordered through PPDG. I ordered a $25 Disney GC and paid with the BB card for in store pickup. Worked flawlessly. I was planning to do a larger order if a bonus offer came through this week, but alas I did not get this offer. The first time since October that we haven't received an offer on either my account or DS's.

I just ordered Disney gift cards through Best Buy .com, paying with Best Buy gift cards I bought through Samsung Pay at 20% off.
Here's hoping the order doesn't get canceled.

I don't know if this helps anyone with the PPDG issue, but just in case:

I have 2 ebay accts and 2 paypal accts. None have corresponding primary email addresses. My ebay acct's email address is a secondary on my paypal acct. I wanted to purchase through my ebay (his 10+ yr acct has never received a promo), but using my husband's paypal so as not to screw up my paypal (business acct and I have some invoices that clients need to pay). It was just a horrible unending loop. Verify by text, change password, purchase from unknown location, verify again, etc. We did it several times. I got irritated and I want my BestBuy cards to make a purchase tonight so I took the chance and used my paypal acct and it went through just fine.

Looking back over it, I did do some auctions on this acct and it does have my paypal set as the pay to for that, I'm not sure if that impacts. I can't see anywhere else that my Paypal is linked. I may try to remove that or change to his paypal and try again, but I don't have time tonight. The only other connection I can find is that my ebay address is on my paypal acct.

Honestly though, I don't think there is any rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't.

I have tried to purchase 3 times. The first time (last Tuesday) I was successful at purchasing a $50 BB from PPDG. I then later tried to purchase $150 more and was locked out. I assumed because I hadn't previously used PPDG (so 2 transactions for the same thing in less than 24 hrs seemed unusual) and I had used my PayPal account to make a couple other purchases that day. So I waited after talking to PayPal and the reps telling me it was just a se unity thing and would reset in 24-48 hrs. Then last night I tried again to make a $200 BB PPDG purchase using the eBay $20 off $200 promo code (I was eligible). Got locked out again and was still locked out today-talked to PayPal again and basically if the transaction is denied for triggering the computer's risk assessment you just have to wait 24-48 and try again (which may or may not help). So I ws not purchasing large amounts when I got locked out.

Yes they can be used until the promo expires. FYI the max you can earn per transaction is $100 so on a 5x promo that is a $1000 purchase if you spend $5000 in one transaction you still only earn $100

Two possibly stupid questions: 1. What is a "pre-owned plastic gift card"? 2. How does a gas gift card work? Do you run it through like a credit card?
