Do you think they would be mad if we did an eBay account in his name, but had my business account tied to it?

So, I've been trying to purchase some GS gc's late thur night and throughout Friday. So, after work I decided to try it at a different computer at work. I was somehow able to get one to look like it'd go thru, so I tried to add a few more in, to use all my $500 ebucks, but when I did that, the 'error transaction refused' page would pop up. So, I decided to just try one and it worked! It let me buy one $100 card, and it's been delivered! And that's great, but it wouldn't let me do anymore after that. I tried my account and got the error right after clicking the checkout button, and tried DD25's account several times after that and I could get to paypal, but then when I signed in it would bring the error. Later in the evening Paypal sent an email that there was suspicious activity on my account, and they put limited access on it, and to follow the steps provided to get it secured again. So it had me change my password basically and it finally said it was all secured again.
So, optimistic, I tried again but it's still a no go . I don't understand why it let me buy one, but then shut down any more, even after supposedly getting full access to my paypal account again. And I can't buy any PPDG cards on DD25's account either. This is pretty frustrating!

I haven't tried buying a PPDG since I had trouble a few weeks ago and had to change my password too. I have been waiting to use my ebucks incase there is a promotion but didn't want to wait until the end of redemption period and find out I have trouble with PayPal. So I tested the waters this morning with a single $100 eBay gift card and it worked. Not going to try another for a few days. Going to spread them out and if a promotion comes in the meantime or they restock $150 target cards I might just get those instead.

I have loved erewards for a few years now, but I don't get as many surveys anymore ( i jst hit 2000 swa points rewards again) but it is taking longer than in the past,I used to get so many I'd space out the rewards (one each month) it feels like 2000 free flight points -I get too excited....

I rarely get surveys from e rewards via my email account anymore; but I go directly to their website almost every day and take surveys. Since I started doing this my e rewards earnings have gone up significantly.

Thanks! I just checked again, and the Target gift cards are back to their original balances. You just never know with Target!

I've been having similar issues. I had to call into paypal three times. It's still not resolved. The third guy said it's because paypal is being over cautious. Now, I need to follow-up for a 4th time today.

Yep, it worked when I thew in the Target gc. I might try one more target then a bigger order of ppdg. I think I locked the stupid thing out like 7 times yesterday so I was giving poor DH a break,ha ha .
Really I was trying to crack the code and be able to report back and save the day with some magical fix.

I am getting gamestop GC from PPDG with my ebay bucks, $100 at a time. I've got 2 so far this afternoon, about 30 mins apart. I figure I can turn them around later today. I'll wait an hour or so and try another one.

My account was not locked. They simply sent me a warning letter. I called to explain that I was buying gift cards in bulk to pay for a cruise, would be willing to fax my reservation confirmation if necessary, and politely explained that I was offended by the tone of the letter. I then requested an increase in my credit limit, which was granted.

So, Target sent you a letter instead of just automatically banning you? What did the letter say? Did they specifically accuse you of being a reseller?
I am glad that you were able to prove your case with them.

Thanks for this info. I had set up an Ebay and Paypal for DH, but whenever we tried to purchase we got the transaction refused error. I went back in and completed the purchase using my Paypal and everything went through just fine.

So, Target sent you a letter instead of just automatically banning you? What did the letter say? Did they specifically accuse you of being a reseller?
I am glad that you were able to prove your case with them.

Exactly. It wouldn't have bothered me if they had said "hey we noticed these charges and want to remind you about this policy so if you are reselling here's your warning". But it was very matter of fact, as if there couldn't be any doubt that I was reselling and if it didn't stop they would cut the credit. I was worried about how it would get reported on my credit report, so I called. Honestly, there was no reference as to what I had bought, so I question whether they even realized that it was gift cards. Just a lot of maxed out credit limits that I would immediately payoff off that week before maxing it out again. It really showed the lack of sophistication with their systems. No wonder they were hacked.

So you weren't using Target cards to buy Disney gift cards?
