Disney Gift Card Deals

I'm now part of the "Cancelled Target Orders" Team! Didn't really bothered with eBates and Target and decided to try for fun since I'm cutting SB out completely now. Cancelled eBay GC with a Picnic Basket I was going to get anyway for our anniversary picnic. And all orders today after that was instant cancelled even for a single eBay GC by itself. eBates gave me credit though. Going to wait another day before I try again.
Keep us posted when you try again. I'm scared to and thinking of just buying eBay gift cards from Kroger going forward. That leaves a lot of money on the table but I'm pretty risk averse and figure I can get almost 30% off Disney gift cards this way.

A few people have posted here and on other sites that they were banned from shopping online at Target .com. Asked why, and Target pointed them to just read their Terms and Conditions. Some of these people suggested Target accused them of being "resellers," people who buy certain items (often limited editions or loss leaders) to resell on eBay, gift card sites, etc., who therefore deprive other shoppers of the opportunity to purchase those items and Target of profit on other items that shoppers might usually pick up along with those items. Apparently, Target had a big problem with resellers buying out their limited collaboration with Lilly Pulitzer last year.

They can still shop in stores, but that removes their ability to trick the website to give them the Red Card 5% discount on their entire purchase amount even when using gift cards to pay. In stores, the 5% discount only applies to the amount actually charged on the Red Card.

No one knows what triggers a ban, but it's likely a combination of high amounts and high frequency in a short period of time. A lady who reported her ban here last month said she bought over $25,000+ Disney gift cards in something like a 3 month period. She didn't seem to have done much churning. I think another man who reported his ban on another site said he bought several thousand $ worth of Disney gift cards in a few days and added he hadn't had his Red Card open for very long.

Thanks for clarifying - I was on the raise.com looking at Target GCs trying to refine my beginner's strategy when I noticed the Target gc specifically says "may not be used to buy other gift cards"
Has anyone seen that and still utilized these discounted reseller cards to buy eBay or Disney GCs at Target online with the redcard 5% on top of that? I wonder if doing this is a flag for target....and I'm honestly surprised they haven't closed this loophole on their website.

I have a question..... If I use an ebay gc to purchase an item on ebay, and it has $ left on it, do they hold the balance for future use? is this reliable? It would be the first time I'm using uneven numbers to purchase- And I am correct that it's held at Ebay, not in Paypal, right? example I have a $50 gc, I use it to buy a $25 item, the other $25 is still there in a month when I need it?

Once you use an eBay gift card, it is forever tied to the account that used it. For example, you cannot use that gift card on your family member's account. This should give you some assurance that your gift card can't be drained by anyone else. I don't know whether the information is stored with eBay or PayPal. Previously, it was PayPal, but the two companies have recently spun off and I believe eBay gift cards are processed by eBay now (even though you still have to log into PayPal to use eBay gift cards).

I have not actually seen anywhere that you can click and pull up the card info to apply to a new order-I had to retype the card number in when I used it on a future purchase.

eBay's native iOS app seems to remember previously used gift cards and gives you a check box to apply the balance to a transaction, but I haven't seen this option on their website.

Give it a day or two. My experience is when Target cancels an order is that all orders the rest of the day get cancelled - almost immediately. I had issues around Christmas time with orders getting cancelled. I panicked and probably did 4 orders or more in one day trying to get one to go through and every single one got cancelled. I calmed down waited until the next day or so and had no problem.

My advice is if you do get a cancelled order than do not make anymore orders that day.

I will also say that my cancelled orders happened after I combined target cards online to one bigger card and then as soon as it came I tried to purchase ebay gift cards with it. I've avoided combining online since then and go to the store if I need to combine smaller cards to a larger one.

I've done it quite a bit; I have been using Raise for about a year now and have had no problems with Target cards. I actually just 2 weeks ago used up the last of some of my old Raise cards and bought an eBay gift card. Prior to that when Target was offering a 10% bonus when you bought a gift card around Christmas, I took some GCs from Raise and bought a Target GC.

Now though, I'm sticking to my Target-eBay-Target circle and leaving my Raise cards just for grocery shopping. After my card combining fiasco last week and a few canceled orders, I'm being a bit more cautious. I'm actually now using a completely different account and letting my old one die, keeping cards for grocery shopping stored on the account and the others are not stored anywhere.

I'm new at this churning bit only doing minimal stuff like buying 5% Disney gc, using my Best Buy rewards to buy Disney gc, buying discount GC when my grocer has them....I think I'll avoid raise and carpool for now and stick with my plan to buy Ebay gc at discount from Target store with redcard starting small with $150 and going up in $150 increments with each cycle. I figure once at $600 in gc will be at 11.5% savings not counting ebates. from there I can start to diversify. Maybe in the interim as I'm building a stash I can get some ebucks promos. Any percent above 5 when I cash out for Disney is better than nothing I figure!

next week target ad has buy two prepaid gift cards get a $5 target gift card free. it shows some gift cards, but says selection vary by store. so do not know if it works on disney or ebay. guess we need some volunteers on sunday :)
Where did you see the ad this early? Also were the gift cards pictured for lower amounts (like $25 ones)?

If you look at the back of a physical gift card it says something about not being used on prepaid giftcards. You can not use them to buy a visa or American Express prepaid giftcard. You can use them on any other type though because they are in the system as entertainment cards not giftcards.

Most of the discounted cards on raise are sold by individuals that have the physical card. They do it ecard to avoid shipping costs. So the rules are the same as a physical cards. That's why you just get the number and an access code but not a barcode you can print and take in. If you buy it from target you can print the barcode and use it in the store.

I avoid resellers because people that steal credit cards buy giftcards from stores with them and then sell them for a higher discount on sites like raise. Then when the credit card is reported missing those giftcards can be flagged. You go to use it and it flags your account. Not every seller on there does this, but you never know which one is or isn't. That's why I don't use them.

Someone a few days ago mentioned being unable to buy for a brief period after purchasing a large amount of paypal digital gift cards. I got a similar message from PPDG a few weeks ago when I ordered $450 in bestbuy cards (that came with $45 in free ebay cards) and then tried to order something else from PPDG, it said 10 days. I was able to place another order with PPDG 5 days later. YMMV, but I would be it is much shorter than 10 days (I didn't try between day 1 and day 5).
Thank you but I checked. I have never purchased a Pay Pal digital gift card (Not sure i even know how LOL).

THANK YOU - I would have never guessed and that tidbit just confirmed my resolve to skip resellers...people are so shady.

I finally decided to create an eBay account for DH so we can double our churning. I have a question for those who are churning through more than one eBay account. Do you also have separate Redcards for buying eBay GCs through Target.com or are you buying them just through your own Target/Redcard account? I don't want to raise any red flags at Target by buying double the amount of GCs that I normally would do. I'm not sure if I should get a separate Redcard for DH using his personal account or if it would be OK if I just put him on my Redcard but he ordered through his own Target account. Does that make sense? I seem to remember Target saying that you can only have one Redcard per HOUSEHOLD, but I can't find anywhere in their terms and conditions that verifies that.

That was me. This happened on Sunday. To update, yesterday I was able to buy $200 (following the PayPal rep's advice) from PPDG without any problems whatsoever. Today I tried the same and.. problems again. I only tried once and then I got the call from PayPal and had to change my password and such.. again.

My target cards from last week's GCM order will be delivered today and I'll be able to convert them back to eBay so I just decided to use up my eBay bucks by ordering a couple more of those and it went thru fine. I figure I'll cool it on PPDG for the next couple of weeks so this type of stuff won't happen when there's a bonus offer.

Not exactly on point, but I'm going to try max out the eBay Bucks for my and my wife's eBay accounts this quarter, but likewise am concerned about running essentially twice the volume through Target. For that reason, I'm going to forego some savings on the Target-side (Red Card 5%, Ebates 2%) and divert some of my funds through Gamestop instead for the quick eBay Bucks and turnaround.

Is it better/easier to go thru Gamestop rather than Best Buy? Thanks.

Anybody have any guesses as to why the Target gift card supply is so low right on on resellers like Raise, etc.?

I have never heard that Target only wants you to have one Redcard per household. My husband and I both have one. We have separate checking accounts though so maybe that's why it's not an issue for us. I just started this churning towards the end of last month and I've only used my Redcard, ebay, paypal, etc so far.
