Okay, I swear I have read from page 430 (missed very few pages) and didn't see what just happened to me. PANIC mode: tried to place an order this morning for GCM and was told I could only place an order every 10 days! I bought recently. My brain is on meltdown. Help please. Is this new because it doesn't fit what I have read?

To be clear... you're trying to buy GCs on ebay that are sold through GCM, not straight from the GCM site, yes?

Is your ebay account new? Is your PayPal account verified?

Sorry, yes trying to buy GCs on Ebay through GCM. Ebay acct several years old, PayPal verified. Used the EBucks promo recently, got EBucks, received my Target GCs from this purchase.

Blah! Every order I place for an eBay gc on target is getting cancelled!!!! Doesn't matter what denomination it is. I was super worried I was banned, but just did a test for a store pick up of Elmer's glue and it went through.....phew!!! I keep getting ebates credited for the cancelled orders.

This happens occasionally. I worry each time about the dreaded ban, but then I place a small order without any gift cards for pickup that goes through and I'm relieved that I can still order online. Give your account a rest from the gift cards for a day or two (or longer) so you don't trigger any flags. Just consider the Ebates credit for your canceled orders money for your troubles. Apparently, those credits are rarely taken back.

And, I have enough to have some ready to churn, while holding back on a quick redemption of my ebucks.
and when/if a promo comes, I can redeem ebucks then and will pay that target stash back. If no promo comes in this month well, I'm still good where I'm at and I can redeem for just their value without extra ebucks. But, why take away my possibility of making some ebucks from my ebucks, since I do have some play in there?

I have a question..... If I use an ebay gc to purchase an item on ebay, and it has $ left on it, do they hold the balance for future use? is this reliable? It would be the first time I'm using uneven numbers to purchase- And I am correct that it's held at Ebay, not in Paypal,right? example I have a $50 gc, I use it to buy a $25 item, the other $25 is still there in a month when I need it?

I think they say 7-10 business days to receive. Yesterday, I finally received some Lowe's gift cards I ordered from them on 3/23.

So I actually placed one order to consolidate target cards and that was via Ebates, got the credit. The other order was for Ebay cards and a filler item. Swagbucks credited me x2 so 960 for a $480 order and says it will post in 31 days. I was surprised!!

Mine has never given me credit on swagbucks so that is awesome!

next week target ad has buy two prepaid gift cards get a $5 target gift card free. it shows some gift cards, but says selection vary by store. so do not know if it works on disney or ebay. guess we need some volunteers on sunday

I ordered from GCM on 3/29 and it shipped 3/30 - out for delivery today UPS
ordered 3/30 and it shipped 3/31 - marked as delivered yesterday, but didn't receive. Hoping it shows up today.
ordered 3/31 and it still doesn't show as shipped.

Waiting and watching for these orders to ship and arrive from GCM is brutal. I like purchasing ebay gift cards on Target so much better. I get the email delivery from Target fairly quickly.

That is the part of the process you have to take into consideration is that GCM can be slow and I've personally found the larger order the slower (shipped via UPS vs USPS). It's also slower during EBucks bonuses for me it seems because they have a higher volume. It also depends where you live I am in MA. I missed out on the last 5x ebucks because my order from the 4x Ebucks the week prior had not arrived yet. So if it takes a while I'd recommend only holding out for higher ebucks promotions if you have the luxury of time.

I'm new to churning and had some questions about my plan...

I plan to start with buying from target with 5% off eBay gc then using those to purchase target gc. Then will take the target gc and purchase eBay gc at increasing increments of $50 each cycle to grow my potential disney gc net when I decide to stop the churn. General math was showing me for example I can put in about $658.50 cash and net out $850 Disney gc after about 5 cycles which is about a 23.5% discount...I realize I can continue to cycle until I am ready to Disney gc out for increased savings. **My initial investment with this example would be $570 cash for $600 eBay GCs at Target with redcard 5% discount.**

Since I am new to bucks and ebates, I plan to let those just grow as I do this first churn and then cash those in next quarter. Today looks like figure as time goes on and I read more of the boards I will figure out new tips, but just want to make sure I'm starting on the right foot.

1. Is my thought process correct?

2. Are there gc limits to single purchases at Target online/stores or eBay online? - more concerned with eBay here due to not wanting shipping cost to eat into my profit.

3. Are there daily purchase limits on eBay - like can I not do a target card purchase there every week?

Does anyone have a recommended starting dollar amount that would net me the best savings in the end or is it better to figure my starting point based off the amount I have budgeted for upcoming Disney trips? Is it better to start small to minimize initial investment and just take the time? Or is that dependent on when I need to utilize the GCs?
My goals are to have enough to pay for park purchases, food, and any Disney direct hotels or tickets. I have planned DLR in June and WDW in October....Next year we are planning Aulani June and WDW October.

4. Am I thinking correctly that churning can be looked at as a long game - where I am consistently trading in GCs for increasing amounts and savings? Or is there like a cap where it's not worth it anymore. Between my next 2 years we have a very large Disney budget I would like to make a dent in - just hotel and AP renewals alone!

5. Just to make sure I'm understanding the Target transaction right EXAMPLE:
Balance $950
Use Redcard...brings balance to 902.50....put 2.50 on redcard....use 900 in Target gc.
Is this right?

6. ANYTHING ELSE I AM MISSING OR SHOULD KNOW????

Weird. Are you sure it's not paypal digital giftcards? They have a weird limit no one can seem to pinpoint. Not GCM that I've heard of.

Hmmm. My guess is something from you Paypal end. Try calling them so see if your account has some sort of flag on it.

Someone a few days ago mentioned being unable to buy for a brief period after purchasing a large amount of paypal digital gift cards. I got a similar message from PPDG a few weeks ago when I ordered $450 in bestbuy cards (that came with $45 in free ebay cards) and then tried to order something else from PPDG, it said 10 days. I was able to place another order with PPDG 5 days later. YMMV, but I would be it is much shorter than 10 days (I didn't try between day 1 and day 5).
