What message does it normally say when you try to apply more than your redemption GC limit?

It wont let me load more than $1000.00 eBay GC to my GCM order. I have calculated through paypal account history (through the spreadsheet download) and I should have more than $1,300.00 left on my rolling 180 day limit. Is it business days? I don't think so. Plus Exactly $1000.00 limit sounds incorrect because I have paid for the odd cent Shipping with ebay GCs.

I got this message this morning when entering my gift cards without realizing I had hit my redemption limit. It really sneaks up on you.

The even number makes sense because even if you pay the odd cents shipping with eBay gift cards, if you eventually use up those gift cards then you'll have used up the even amount of that gift card's value.

Paypal is so annoying! "We can't process your payment. Please select a different payment method or check your payment details including your billing address." "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again.

These are the same exact errors I get on my dh's PP that I opened a month or so ago. I have never been able to really use it b/c apparently it is 'broken'. We called eBay once today and PP three different times. All PP reps gave different answers and in the end, it is still broken. PP/eBay is so frustrating. If you google these errors, you just find sites full of people who are super frustrated as there seems to be no fix.

We both got the 5x offer today but nobody could use it. I ended up having my aunt run $1200 through her PP for me.

Thanks for the heads up! That's the thing though, I have a eBay GC that has been paying for shipping and it has a balance of $1.07 left. So it's not like I drained the whole GC to be rounded to the whole dollar.

I calculated I'm $1376.07 away from my limit based on "Gift Certificates and Cards Redemption" transactions. But this is exactly the error I am getting, so I must have reached my limit.

About 2 months.
I had a long standing Business Paypal account. Setting up a personal account was easy. When I used up all from my business account, I switch to my personal account on the same ebay account.
I don't understand promo email. I have 2 emails, 1 for each Paypal.

Forgot to ask, what happens when you hit the $500 limit for eBay bucks? That's an eBay limit, correct? So, even if using a different PayPal acct to use another $5000 limit, wouldn't you not get the eBay bucks with the $500 limit per quarter in the one eBay acct? What value is there then if you can't get the big eBay bucks if you reach the $500 quarter limit?

Nope, there will be no notification. If you hit the $5000 limit, eBay will just stop allowing gift cards to be applied as payment, but it won't tell you why.

Thank you, mfly! I tried that and verified my math, that after today, I reached my $5000 limit now. I'm done on this acct till late July! Ugh! Gonna try and get DD25's accts going and hope the PayPal will work!

Ugh, seriously I am so excited. I checked this morning (7 AM maybe) and didn't see anything. I forget who, maybe it was @Minniekins who suggested I hold out since we had the 3x offer last week. Thanks for the advice, I am glad I took it. $60 Ebay bucks, woo hoo!

Yep, and I'm glad you waited so you could do this offer! I did this one other time, too, right after I finished my purchase. I quick opened an Ebates link and put in a support ticket and they quickly approved it and gave me the cash back! Worth asking thru support, anyway. ]

And that completes my churning for this quarter. In a month I can cash in for $500 in target cards.

Aah, me too! Was able to do $1650 of the $1850 I had in gc's, and got my max $500 in ebucks! Lost about $15 there, but really glad I got the $500 free money! Now I will be able to spend those ebucks on target gc's at eBay in April, to use to buy Disney gc's at target, correct, even though I hit my $5000 spending of eBay Gc's? The ebucks aren't counted with the eBay gcs, right?

Yes, you can only earn 100 ebay bucks per transaction and a total of 500 per quarterly earn period.

To those still learning about churning, be sure to do purchase in two orders, so as not to lose eBay bucks, if you're going to spend more than $1000 in a 5x promo deal. I was able to do $1200 on the 4x order, only $96. Glad I noticed that when doing that last 4x order! Costs a few dollars more in shipping but made plenty more in eBay bucks doing a $900 order and a $750 order!

I was also having that problem a few weeks ago. Try logging out and logging back in. Someone here suggested that awhile ago and it worked for me.

I don't thinks so. I got every offer this year and only skipped the 3x offers.

Sorry, one more question this morning. What do you guys think about SVMgiftcards on eBay? They are selling a $100 Mobil card for $90 with free shipping. I am trying to earn another $1 in extra bucks so I don't lose the $4 I earned (I know, kind of pathetic, but I'm learning) I use Mobil anyway.

I combine all my Disney cards on the gift card site until I hit $1000, then I put in in the DVA. I have had great success with DVA, both with receiving my bonus cards and requesting a GC from the remainder of my account. Other than the initial deposit, I have only used gift cards for deposits and never requested a refund. Since I would combine the gift cards anyway, it is worth the extra step for me.

The first few weeks (maybe even month?) that I did the Ebay part, I did not receive any offers. Then I received a 2x, 4x, 3x, 5x, probably all within 4 weeks. I honestly do NOT know the logistics of how they're given out. Once I figured out how the process worked, I upped my gift cards to $300. That way I was earning $3 Ebates, $6 Ebay bucks, and spending $3.98 on shipping, making $5.02 per transaction. Plus, the more times you go through Target, the bigger the savings. For example you're using $200 now, but you only spend $190 so that's $10 left over.. Pretty soon you'll have enough for $225 in Ebay gift cards, and so on.

It all depends on how much time you have until your trip and whether you feel like working another churn. There are no right answers.

I don't trust the DVA. They have lousy customer service and their IT is spotty. I tried it. I did it so that I could combine my GCs. With the disneygiftcard website rollout, I've stopped using the DVA and have asked for my balance to be refunded.

We have a smaller trip in May and a larger family trip next March.am I correct that without the extra ebucks offer all I can do with this next batch of target cards is buy more eBay cards getting the 5 percent red card discount? But then when I purchase more Target cards in eBay with those funds, its a wash because the shipping equals the 2 percent ebay bucks I will earn. ......if I'm saving the minimum of 5 percent with Target abd I just keep doing Target -ebay-target-ebay , when does the savings max out?

For people who have 2 ebay accounts - one for themself and one for their spouse, can you use the same ebates / mypoints account to link to the spouse's ebay account?

My DH has an ebay account, but not ebates / mypoints - I didn't know if I could link through my ebates / mypoints account and get credit for purchases through his ebay account?

KMart and Sears are a case of YMMV. Some people have reported success and others have said that they were denied using a Sears/KMart GC to purchase any other GC. My Sears had Disney GCs around the holidays. My KMart has them all of the time.
