The $5000 limit doesn't apply to your Ebay account. The limit is from Paypal. I have spent $7200 in Ebay GCs on my one Ebay account. I have used 2 different Paypal accounts. I have received all 3 offers this year.

Ah ha, I did not know that. I didn't even know that you could use 2 different paypal accounts with ebay!

I'm pretty sure this would work, but I would not do it. Seems too likely to get noticed -- or, cause problems if you have to file a claim or something. You can already have 2 Paypal accts of your own, so there is no need to have a Paypal acct in his name unless you're trying to get 3. If I was doing that, I'd open a new Ebay account to match the name. It would be confusing if you ever use that for normal activity and the seller name on Ebay does not match the seller name on Paypal.

Thank you, again, wendow! Well that'd be $8 shipping at best, if I could get the $150 cards. So I'd get $28 dollars. And about $9 or $10 from TCB eventually, hopefully. Not bad, but for the $5000 limit. My trips are in May to DL and in Nov to WDW.
Part of me feels like I'm leaving $28+ dollars out there, but that annoying limit. Hmm.

I hear you! I struggle with not jumping on each ebucks promo. I did the last one which was 3x and I regretted it once I realized how close it put me to my 5k limit. Wish I would have just been patient and waited for a 4x or 5x. BUT my trip is not until September. If I had a trip in May, I might feel differently and feel like I needed to jump on any offer.

And nothing listed for my Raise gc purchases so wondering now if I need to contact them about these, as they say they payout on gc purchases.

I have made 3 purchases through TCB for raise.com in the past 3 weeks and not a one of them credited. I put in a ticket for the first 2 and it says it can take up to 90 days for them to get to it. That's crazy. I tried them the 3rd time and nothing. I think I'm done with them.

Yes, one is a business account and the other is a personal account

I thought we normally get 2x for gc on eBay. Is this wrong?

Normal is 2%. So, 2x is 4%, 3x is 6%, 4x is 8%, 5x is 10%

I have been shopping with eBay for many years. I do receive eBay bucks for purchases and have gone in and clicked the first 3 choices under promotions and surveys. I have NEVER received a bonus eBay bucks email. Is there something else I should be checking?

I hate having it billed to my CC because that's just more that I'm spending, so it kinda makes more sense to just have "extra" on Ebay gift cards, maybe?! (Even though I'm spending it regardless, at least the Ebay gift cards were bought at a discount). Thoughts?

I redeem for PayPal when I get rewards or rebates. When I buy Target GCs on eBay and I don't have enough in eBay GCs to cover all of the costs, the additional money comes out of my PayPal account.

My American Express Blue Cash Preferred credit card has an "Amex Offers" of $5 off Rite Aid if you spend $15. Planning on picking up $25 Ebay gc. You can just cut out all the middle men and buy a Disney gift card though. Also, if your authorized users have their own account, they can get the offer too. Just make sure you "Add to Card" on both accounts.

If you have it on multiple cards, just buy 1 eBay card and have the cashier split the payment for you. Between my hubby and I, we had 3 offers so bought 1 $45 eBay card and paid $15 on each of 3 credit cards.

I have not seen any in my area, but I would love to know if there are any around. Please post where you live, the store, and what the deal is. I know the Target 5% is the big one, but I know that some grocery stores have some too.

I do the same as Marionnette. All my cashback (from ebates or TCB) just goes to Paypal so I can cover shipping with that and never have to 'dig in my pocket'.

Yeah, I've got target cards sitting in my cart on eBay, $150 ones! just still deciding, argh! If it werent for that $5000 limit I'd do it for sure! Ugh, lol.

I got my eBates PayPal money today! Too bad that I didn't get any kind of eBay Bucks offer. I might have considered spending it on more Target GCs.

I decided to cash out my Target gift cards for Disney gift cards prior to the anticipated WDW ticket price increase this month. Now I need to start over, and I wonder if I should wait for a 4x or 5x ebay bucks offer and buy on GCM via ebay, or if I should purchase at 4-6% off from Raise or one of the other sites. Any thoughts?
