1-2 days. Usually the better the deal, the shorter the deal.

I just started and was thinking about that too because we are going to Hawaii this summer so I've started saving disney gift cards because we're staying at Aulani after our NCL cruise.

I'm thinking that this would still work to a point. For example, ebay has the Royal Caribbean gift cards (they are actually emailed so you don't have the shipping fee), so you should be able to do the churning between Target and Ebay and then buy the final gift cards through ebay with your ebay gift cards.

So, I'd say any gift cards that you can buy through ebay would work for this! I'm excited about the options!

Gift card churning can be done for any gift card sold on Target.com or eBay(Giftcardmall).

Looks like the RCCL gift cards on ebay are only good on new bookings, and not towards excursions or gratuities, no travel agents. Celebrity is similar, but specifies $500/pp and $1000/per room limit, no travel agents. Princess says theirs can be used towards the cruise or onboard purchases and can use travel agent. Carnival can be used for cruise or anything onboard, and they have digital and physical (through GCM, with shipping charges).

I was going to warn the same thing about Royal Caribbean's gift cards. They are not like normal gift cards. However, I have a Carnival cruise in October and another next May and I plan to churn for spending money for both of those trips. I am just finishing up for my Disney trip in March and then need to accumulate some more free money from Swagbucks, ebates, etc.. and then I am going to start working on Carnival. My goal is to have spending money for both that is 100% free.

I had also thought about churning for a new stove from Best Buy or a refrigerator. There are a lot of possibilities out there as long as either Target or ebay has the final gift card you need.

There are lots of opportunities for churning (as long as it continues as is...). Another option I wanted to point out is that lots of timeshares, including Bonnet Creek, can be purchased through eBay. WBC is already a pretty decent deal through eBay so combine that with paying for it with churned gift cards. Sweet deal! Also, there are only a couple I see here and there but some people rent their DVC points on ebay.

Well, I has a sad. I had it in my mind that I was no where near the $5K eBay gc limit but I was wrong!! So now I am sitting on $600 of ebay g.c. Oh well, I can play again after Feb 17th, so it's not too bad, but I definitely won't have that $600 to spend at Disney when we are there in late Feb. Le sigh.

I'm sad with you. I also did not think I could be anywhere close to the 5k. After I added it up, I was over $4900! No way!!! And I only started this in November so I have like 3 mos until I can churn more. And if it is a rolling 6 mos, well, then I have even longer cause I spent very little in Nov. Mostly Dec and Jan spending through ebay. Sad, sad here too.

I figured out in November (the week before my trip) that I was very near the limit (and of course had several hundred in ebay gift cards....), so I had a small purchase the first week of Dec and have been in time out since But, I can spend a little in 10 days (which I will definitely be saving for a 5x, so I don't miss out if one comes), and then a whole bunch about 6 weeks after that. I used the time I couldn't spend churning (ha!) making a spreadsheet of when I could buy what, exactly, without investing any more in ebay or target cards (although, I did get another $100 target in Jan from Kroger to get the 400 the fuel points I need to reach 1000 when they had 4x; it is mentally allocated to go to disney cards lol). I think I will be able to churn enough between now and May to cover our food for that trip (the churning from the last 6 months covered our January trip!).

I can't imagine rolling that much that you are tapped out against the 6 month limit. I have not tried the eBay twist mostly because I have been pretty happy with my Raise % to Disney (Target 5%) with the ebates or MyPoints thrown in (14%+/-)...but I did get the 3x offer and would like to give it a try. I have 175.00 Target GC's, so do I:

Go to Target through MyPoints and buy a 150.00 Ebay card using my redcard default
When it is emailed to me I use it at eBay to purchase a 150.00 Target GC using the 3x link offer?

Will the Bucks cover the cost of shipping? I know I need to perfect the $ amount to take full advantage but just looking to get the steps/timing down this time.

You could have as little as $420 invested and hit the limit churning only twice a month, so it isn't too hard. I have more in because I like to take advantage of kroger fuel points (when they offer 4x it is a 14% savings and I don't have to worry about someone draining the card I bought, it is still 7% even at the usual 2x).

GCM is out $150 cards, so you will need to look at possibly spending an extra $15 to get 2 $100 ebay cards, and then spending another $4 to ship 2 $100 target cards. You will get whatever MyPoints pays on the target side, $12 in ebay bucks, and could get 200 swagbucks (or $8 from iConsumer, but they pay out after 90 days *and* a $25 balance) on the ebay side.

I did not expect to hit the 5k cap so soon...that seemed unimaginable when I first started all this. My big mistake was all the ebay to ebay transactions. I did every single one that came up in Nov & Dec and several of them were buy $200 for $195. And my dh did a couple through his ebay account too but it went through my Paypal.

There should be, you would need an extra $15 on top of your $175 to get a $200 ebay gc.
