Disney Gift Card Deals

I got the eBay bucks offer too. Between being able to use the Bucks I had, and a paypal deposit from SavingStar, I got 2 $50 cards for $64! Not bad :)

Now to hope I'm not banned from Target - I haven't ordered too many, so hopefully all is well.

I just got a 2x ($50), 3x ($100), 4x ($150) ebay offer for the first time! Good for today and tomorrow, but what to do with only $50 target store cards in stock???

Did they take away your redcard? Your redcard is just another form of payment from TD Bank.

I think the Poster you quoted meant if they want the 5% discount that comes off with the red card set as default payment there's no way around the ban (assuming they flag the red card as being banned from online shopping). She could create a new login, use a different computer, shipping address, etc but she wouldn't have a different red card to use for the discount.

It's a unique component that can be used to link you to a banned profile. Some retailers ban based on the email and some ban based on the shipping address. We don't know how sophisticated Target's banning algorithm is yet.

It now looks as though Gift Card Mall is totally out of Target? Anyone else seeing that?

It wouldn't matter. Target cannot save your payment information anymore unless you give them permission. I know I certainly don't. After their last breach, if they are breached again and release more payment info, it would be the end of Target and possibly send the CEO to prison.

I saw that too. I wonder if they will come back in stock before the promo ends tomorrow? Or what other stores can you use a GC to buy a GC? I know you can at GameStop but as far as I know they don't sell Target GC's there, so I'd have to churn back into eBay or Best Buy, which I'm not sure is worth it for the $24 in eBay bucks.

UGH. I'm worried now, too. I do buy a lot of gift cards in store with my Red Card but I've also been buying Raise.com Target gift cards and turning them around on Target.com for Disney gift cards. However, I've probably only done this for $500 worth of GCs in the last year, and I often buy other things on Target.com such as clothes, a book, and a digital camera, all in this year.

I don't claim to be an expert on this but in order to get the 5% red card discount I thought you had to save the red card to the account as your default payment mechanism (which triggers the 5% discount even when using gift cards). By doing so aren't you giving them permission? Or are you saying you manually enter your red card in on each purchase as the default payment mechanism then change to pay with gift cards and it does not save your red card info?

Is anybody else's Ebates acting weird with Target orders? Obviously I'm not gonna put in a ticket for it since they technically don't credit for GC purchases anyway, but I can't figure what they are basing their cash back on. Without going into too much detail, the "totals" ebates is recording for my purchases over the past 2 days don't match at all what I paid on Target. I've tried figuring it out subtracting the gift cards purchased, or the amount I paid with gift cards, etc. to see if I could come up with how they reached their "totals" but nothing matches. Not really complaining, since they at least credited *some* back when it should be none... just wondering if anybody else is experiencing this?

Example:
I ordered 3x100 Disney GCs, 3x50 Disney GCs, $3.49 pack of flossers = $453.49 (so 2% ebates would be $9.07) but ebates is showing a total of $145.82 and reimbursed $2.92. This has happened with all of my past 5 orders in the last 2 days :confused3

I did the math and they are excluding your 3 x100 GC. They are taking your 3x50 ($150) and your flossers ($3.49) for a total of $153.49. Your 5% redcard discount(5%x$153.49=$7.67) takes your total to $145.82. That total at 2% gets you the $2.92. So, we'll have to see if this is a trend that continues. At least you got credit for the $150 for the time being.

Ahh, forgot to figure in the 5% discount..makes sense now. Thanks! Kinda weird though.

It may not necessarily be weird. It could be that they are starting to close the loop hole of adding a small item to an order and getting full credit for gift cards even though they don't qualify. As I mentioned previously, I'm interested to see if this trend continues and/or if the $50 cards are excluded as well.

I had my $100 in ebay bucks saved up and so I got $6 in ebay bucks by getting a $100 kmart card (free shipping). I forgot to use swagbucks, though, so I cost my 100 SB :( Oh well, the $4 extra in ebay bucks is nice :)

I had $100 in ebucks this cycle. I debated and debated whether to hold it for some kind of promo or go ahead and spend it. I spent it a week ago or so on two $50's from individual sellers that were selling just over the $50 price with free ship. I kicked myself after for being so impatient but now, I'm kind of glad I went ahead and did. I still have almost $1200 in eBay gift cards I need to spend back into Target someday soon! Though I have gained more time b/c we pushed our April trip out to August.

According to their terms on the website it could be email, creditcardinfo, billing address and/or shipping address.

If you delete your payment info from their site, will they still have it stored somewhere in their database from previous orders?

Got an Amex offer for RiteAid (spend $15, get $5 credit). Does anyone know if they carry either Disney or Ebay gift cards?

Jodie
