Well you were right!! I got banned too!!! And i didn't buy that many as some of you here have. The ban is lifetime too!!

So i can never buy online anymore. Only in stores. Which is kinda difficult for me. What the heck am I going to do with 2k+ in Target cards

They told me the same "your free to shop in the store but not online" at least the target cards I have are 11%off so better than red card . I'll buy in store

Well, I buy too much from Target online to risk getting banned. I'm glad I have what I need for our upcoming trip. If we schedule another one, I'll probably just get a few gift cards from the website, but buy the bulk of them in store and be glad for the 5% I guess.

On 1/16 I bought a discounted digital card from Giftcard Zen. If I can't use it on-line what can I do? Sell it to someone else? Ask for a refund? Can I use it in-store?

What's the max? I orded 3 $100 GCs a few weeks ago, and attempted to order 2 $100 GC this weekend. Those amounts don't seem huge to me. The second order got cancelled and I was labeled a reseller and can never shop at Target.com again. I don't understand why they are just throwing customers away.

For those of you who were banned, can you answer a few questions so we might figure out what is flagging you?

1. Are you ordering from the US. Not just sending to the US but your computer that is placing the order physically resides in the US. - Yes, I'm in CA
2. Do you place more than 1 order a day? - No, except this weekend when the first was cancelled I tried again
3. Do you add a small, inconsequential item to get the ebates to work? Last order and this attempted order yes
4. How long have you been buying GCs from Target? I've only ordered 4 times - June 2015, July 2015, December 2015, and then attempted this weekend
5. Do you use your redcard in the stores? Yes, at least a few times a month
6. Do you order other items online? Yes, I had a big order Black Friday that didn't include any Disney GCs, but not regularly

My total cumulative Disney GC orders from Target.com is under $500, so I'm not seeing why I got flagged and other people are not.

You can use an egift card in store. You have to convert it to a mobile gift card first. I found instructions by Googling target digital gift card use in store.

That's not fair.
The only reason I shop there is for the extra % off Disney gift cards. If they ban me online, I really have no reason to shop there.
I do see where they started banning customers online after last year's Lily Pulitzer fiasco.
Maybe they see this as the Disney gift card fiasco.

Seems like they started this whole banning thing months ago but must now be applying it to buying Discounted Disney gift cards as well.

I'm scared. Sitting on a lot of Target gift cards right now. All my orders recently have included a ruler, an eraser, hand soap, or socks. I just ordered a target e-card yesterday using a discounted card I had just purchased on Raise, went through Ebates (adding a small item), and it went through fine. Last order before that (on Monday) was the max of Disney cards (3 x 100 and 4 x 50) plus one of the small items and went through Ebates. No issues.

That extra 2% through ebates isn't worth anything if I get banned. Afraid to even try right now, maybe wait and see what happens for a while.

I do buy other things on target online. Paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, other cleaning products when sales come up. Toothpaste, deodorant, other random stuff I need. Not too often though, only when sales comes up. Can't remember the last time I made an in-store purchase using my red card.

Why can't they just say no more online GC purchases or you will be banned? Why the sudden death with no warning? And the PP only bought $500.?. You would expect an across the board, systematic procedure. I spend thousands at Target throughout the year (in store not online). If they banned me I could probably retire early.

Yeah, I would be interested in the Target shopping habits of those who have been banned. I shop both online and in the store. And I buy all kinds of things...toiletries, household, groceries, clothes, furniture, etc. I always pay with my Redcard or giftcards.

I could definitely see where if all you order is gift cards and 25 cent rulers, your account might get flagged. Or even just gift cards. The whole deal stinks though for those banned.

My concern is I always pay with gift cards. I've used the loophole two or three times. I also have ordered a bunch of other stuff from Target.com (ipad mini, makeup, toilet paper, etc.) but my gift card spending (maybe $3,000 last year between Disney and ebay) dwarfs my spending on other stuff (maybe $500).

Did they take away your redcard? Your redcard is just another form of payment from TD Bank.

Believe me, I understand. I should have been more clear. I have no intention of actually calling; I was merely venting as a result of frustration and confusion.

Let the staggered orders begin. If it were you, what would you comfortably max out at? One order with the maximum quantity of gift cards (4 x $50 + 3 x $100)? "Safe" to order another once the previous order's status is 'shipped?'

I order the $500 max and wait until I receive the shipment before I make another order.
