Disney Gift Card Deals

My Target installed self-checkout stations. I was surprised that I was able to check out with gift cards all by myself. They have the promo cards sitting above the register, so you can scan them yourself, too.
Very nice! I wish my Target would do the same!

I'm glad you got the cards and unfortunately the cashier was rude.

I wonder if its because it's the holiday season and she just needed a break. Or even if she had encountered a different rude customer who was purchasing the same or similiar GCs.

I have to say as a customer the process is a bit painful, because every 2 cards, the cashier has to ting up the $5 GC. So it's possible they didn't want to do it again, but it's still not right! :)

Wow, that's amazing!

This great to know. I just assumed that gift cards had to go through a regular register to get activated. I will try this if I can ever find the 101 $25 Disney gift cards my Target supposedly has.

Just reviewed my Target receipts from Dec 7 and I only received 4.5% my transactions. I made about 10 transactions at 2 different stores of only disney cards and the 5% red card discount is only 4.5%! At both stores- anyone else?! I don't know what to do, do I really want to fight with a manager for 0.5%?

It's in the terms and conditions of the RedCard agreement:

5% discount applies to eligible purchases minus any other discounts and the value of any promotional Target gift cards received in the transaction.

Thank you all for sharing your experience. Has any of you ever find $25 Disney gift cards in grocery area? The inventory checker shows my local store has 53 available in grocery aisle, I searched each aisle and end cap but still didn't find a spot for the Disney gift cards. I did find the spots in electronics and holiday rack but they were all wiped out.

I had assumed that too but I tried out of curiosity and they worked just fine, honestly I did it faster than the Target clerk who rang up my first purchase. I went to another Target (due to the manager at the first one informing me I could NOT spend my promo cards on more gift cards) and spent all my $5 cards on some more Disney cards at the self-checkout. The machine had me scan my promo card after I scanned 2 gift cards and then I used all my previous promo cards to pay for the Disney card I just bought. SO much better than going through a clerk for me since the computers are ringing up the promotion just fine.

The inventory check system had them registering in 2 of my local targets as well but they were already sold, apparently it doesn't update "live"...

There are two places in groceries, one is end cap and the other is a small green 4-sided display, but neither one has a spot for Disney gift card. Not sure what "grocery" means since electronics in inventory checker means videos aisle.

My store had an sidecap display in the paper products aisle with a spot specifically for Disney $25 cards. That is the only other place that I found them besides the large display by the registers.

How did you check the inventory? I checked my Target app on iPad, but couldn't see anything?

Don't forget to look behind the 50's and 100's. That's where I found mine. There were about 30 of the $50 with higher denominations stacked in front of them. I barely caught the color difference on the edge of the package--I almost gave up.

Whats the easiest way to find something from Target to qualify for Ebates? I swear it takes an hour of clicking thru $5 and under items to find something that will ship. Every time I click on something it then says "shipping not available" once I click on it. I tried sorting by "online only" and that still doesn't work. Grrr. It is such a time waster.

Go to party supplies and do a sort low to high price. I always get the 74 cent bubble mailer.

Thank you. That is where I found my 4 Disney $25 cards on Sunday, but inventory checker still shows more in grocery but I have no idea where the display is.

Question for those talking about adding a small item to an online Target order for Disney GCs to shop through eBates:

I am assuming you are doing this to "trick" eBates to give cashback on the whole purchase amount?

Also, I'm a newbie to getting the GCs this way (had just been buying discounted Target to purchase Disney online, until the $25 Disney card promo that is) and this prompted me to look and see if I got the cashback I submitted through shopathome for all my Disney card orders through Target- nope. :worried: I am super bummed. I see why now. Didn't even think about GCs possibly being excluded. Live and learn I suppose. Last trip I only knew about the straight 5% at Target so hey, I've already improved my savings this trip. :)

Does anyone know if I purchase Disney gift cards and use some of the $5 target gift cards for my purchase and then use my red card to pay the rest of my Disney gift card purchase will I get the 5% off the entire order or just the amount paid with my target red card. I will be making this purchase in the store. Thanks
