I plan on buying gc to pay for trip. anyone use the disney vacation account to dep gc? what do you think? does the $ deposited into the account need to be in the account for 120 days before spending towards your balance to receive the $20 gc for $1,000 spent? do you have to wait 120 days before spending or can you spend it before 120 but need to wait 120 days before you are eligible to request the bonus. because i heard 120 days before you can request but it reads " at time of spending"

That's an interesting question and one that would affect me as well since I've loaded several thousand $$ into the account with the intent to use it for our November trip which has now been pushed out to December but we used the $$ over the summer for a KILLER deal on a DVC room at Poly.

Disney gift cards are delivered via snail mail. Allow a week for them to arrive.

If Target runs a 10% off $100 Target gift cards on Black Friday like they did last year, and you plan on buying them to use to purchase Disney gift cards, be aware that the Target gift cards also arrived by snail mail for us last year so that's another week of waiting.

I haven't seen any Target ads for Black Friday 2015, so I believe this is all speculation based on last year's deal. (If anyone has a link to this year's ad, please do share).

Like I said, based on last year's experience, last year's deal for 10% off $100 Target gift cards shipped via snail mail and it took about a week to arrive. I don't recall there being an online eGift card delivery option (probably on purpose as that would make it too easy for you to save 10% on gift cards, receive them almost immediately via email, and turn around to use them on Target's other Black Friday deals). Also note that last year's deal was limited to $300 in Target gift cards per household.

If you have a Disney trip starting 12/1, do not wait for any possible Black Friday deal on gift cards, because they will very likely not ship to you in time.

have you funded your dva with a credit card? i also wondering if a credit card would view this as a "cash advance".

It was both online and in-store. I purchased the maximum $300 online as soon as it became available. I was able to choose e-gift cards which arrived within a few hours. However, the fine print said that the cards would not be available for use until the day after Black Friday. Later I went into the store and purchased $300 of physical gift cards. There was no signage displayed showing the 10% off, but I brought the ad with me just in case and the cards did ring up at 10% off. Sure hope they offer it again this year.

AMEX has a $20 back on $199 or more purchased at best buy. They carry disney gift cards so not a bad deal if you got the offer.

YAY!!!! I finally got an eBay 4x promo!! SO STINKIN EXCITED!! But....it appears there are no $100 Target cards from giftcardmall...so what now? We just have to keep waiting? Doesn't work on two of the $50's? Or shipping costs are too high to make it worth it?
