the system accepts it, but some best buy employees may deny it. really best thing to do is just go up buy the item and after the scan it just give them the gift card.

There is no definitive answer to your question. There are too many variables to consider: number of people, how you will be paying for food, whether you're a big souvenir buyer, etc. Personally, I have no problem having extra GCs when I return from Disney because they can be used to pay for my DVC dues. But if this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, my advice is to keep your money liquid. Buying $400-$500 in extra GCs in order to save $20-$30 (5% savings) isn't worth tying up cash in GCs if you don't spend the GCs.

That depends on a number of things. Are you on the Disney Dining Plan? If not, are you table service people or do you prefer the quicker counter service? Do you eat 3 meals a day or are you snackers? Will you share meals (for instance if you have a little one that won't eat as much)? What time of year are you going? Is there a special event during that time? Do you like to buy things like christmas ornaments or other special souvenirs to remind you of this trip?

I can tell you in my case I tend to do a lot of planning. We ARE on the DDP. I have our meals all planned out as far as where we are going and I even have an idea of what we will be ordering at table service restaurants. I have gone through and figured our where we are paying out of pocket for meals and what meals we are using our credits for. Even if using the dining plan credits it doesn't pay for a glass of wine, for instance (if you are so inclined) or any alcohol. I add all of that up using the menus posted on the disney site (tips+appetizers+alcohol). We are going during the Halloween Party and Food and Wine Festival......I have to guess on the F&W menu prices (it starts tomorrow so I WILL be following those threads closely to see what I'd likely spend there). I don't like to be surprised when it comes to spending money so it's worth it for me to plan like this. I realize it may be too much structure for some and that's okay, too I have $500 in extras on Disney Gift cards and we will be there for 7 nights (although one breakfast and lunch will be without the dining plan since we are changing resorts that one last night)........we are 2 adults and have 2 signature meals planned, one out of pocket breakfast, and one out of pockets lunch (unless I cancel it and I may if it looks like we still need to enjoy more of the F&W offerings).

I use a pretty simple method. I know we'll eat around 1TS, 1QS, and 1Snack per day per person (some days more, some days less). That plan on the DDP costs $60/adult and $20/child. So not on the DDP, that's what I'm budgeting. 2 adults + 4 kids equals around $200/day for food. x8 days, $1600. I think it'll come out pretty accurate Tho we'll underspend to the DDP a little item for item, we'll end up w a few more snacks consumed over the time so it'll about work out. It's a rough guide, but tells me to shoot for around $2000 in funds after some incidentals.

i was at gamestop today and they had a display saying they had more gift cards at
gsdigital.me . never seen physical ebay gift cards there.

the process is weird though, have to get your gift cards you want on your phone from the web address than go to the gamestop register to have them scan a bar code, after you pay they email your gift cards.

We do not have a dining plan and will be paying cash for our meals. Can you use the gift cards at all restaurants in the park? Counter service too? What about Epcot restaurants? Sorry if this is a silly question but I don't want to buy a ton of gc and then find out they can only be used at certain places. Thanks for any help!

Limit 2. eBay gives an error during checkout when you try to buy more. Paypal Digital Gifts (the seller) delivered my BestBuy and eBay codes via email in about 20 minutes to 1 hour.

BestBuy does sell physical eBay gift cards in $25 increments in store and online. When you order online, BestBuy doesn't actually ship the cards to the store, it's actually in store pickup that pulls from the store's existing stock. However, as of yesterday, most of the BestBuy stores around me are out of stock or have insufficient stock of eBay gift cards.

Best to try make an order on Bestbuy.com before heading into the store to buy. If the stores around you don't have enough stock, Bestbuy.com will tell you; if they do have enough cards for your order, you can enter in the BestBuy gift card numbers, pay for it online, then go pick it up whenever you get a ready for pickup email.

Thank you! I also had a bunch of small denomination eBay codes (some from the BestBuy deal) and this was a nice way to consolidate them into a purchase, get a free $5, and ultimately up my savings percentage.
