It's very annoying. I tried my Chase card too just to see and it wouldn't work either. My account on my computer doesn't even match my app. I have 2 saved offers on my app and the computer shows 0. It makes no sense

Just a question, why would you want to add your CC info?

I'd like to just have a card on file and there shouldn't be any reason I can't add one.

I understand there shouldn't be an issue to add one but why would you? What purpose does it serve? Am I missing something? Just curious. :flower3:

If you are buying a $50 Staples gift card and using RMN, you will get 8% cash back (or $4) but you will be paying half of that on the $1.99 handling fee, so you end up with 4%. You could also do Ebates which has 2% cash back in store at staples with the 3% from Dosh and you would get 5% back.

You could also save the Staples offer for the next time Staples has fee free visa or mastercards in store. (They usually have them once every month or two and the Amex offer goes until 9/30). This would especially make sense if you have the offer on the Amex SimplyCash card which earns 5% at Office supply stores.

I swear I've done things on RMN before where I had to have a card linked

Gotcha! I've never linked my cards nor used their in store offers. Idk, just a lot of private and personal info to give them maybe I'm being too paranoid.

The Best buy will be interesting to see; we know that Best Buy now has the ability to block gift card purchases at Swagbucks so I'm assuming it will be the same thing at RMN, but that is just a guess. We will find out soon enough.

But was that a Best Buy issue or a Swagbucks issue? My money is on Swagbucks. So far we've all had pretty good luck with RMN tracking with GCs across the board. Fingers crossed it all works out!!

While I hope you are right, I think it is a Best Buy issue. I think it is the same system with all the portals. The key is it is Best buy reporting to the portal (Swagbucks) that gift cards do not qualify. I don't see why they would do it with one portal and not another. But again, this is all speculation. We will only know once the DP's come in.

Since the Best Buy Amex offer is good until 9/15, for those who only feel it is worth it if they get the Amex and the RMN, you can wait to see if the portal pays out for others, although I don't know if the 12% at RMN right now is more than normal.

One possibility: if your card is linked to another tracking service, it may block you from adding the same card to RMN.

I think it was last fall that we got some pretty good cashback offers from RMN and we linked our cards. I haven’t really seen any good offers like that since

Hmm the Amex is a card we never use so it shouldn’t be attached to any other account. My chase card I tried is linked to dosh though

Quick DP...

I ordered a $25 Disney e-gift card from Target this morning at 11:12am using my Virtual Visa from SB. I have a .net e-mail address so I was a little nervous, but at 11:52am, I received the gift card in my inbox.

Another DP regarding the Virtual Visa....

I had been adding the VV's to my PayPal account and ordering through the ShopDisney website. When I tried to add my VV to my PayPal account this morning, it said my card was invalid and it would not allow me to link it:scared1:. I don't know why this would be the case, but I do already have (2) other Pre-Paid Visa cards linked (maybe there is a limit?). I recently made a payment using a pre-paid Visa Gift card to a company that I am now fairly certain is not legit. It was for an item my daughter wanted and she said it was a US company but after I placed the order, sure enough, it's based somewhere in Asia. I think the company was out to scam me because within 24 hours after I placed the order through them, I received an alert from PayPal that they believed that there was an unauthorized attempt to access my account. Well, surprise surprise...the item I ordered on June 23 (which was supposed to ship within 5 business days) has not shipped yet. I was supposed to receive an e-mail confirmation when it shipped and so far, I have received nothing. I sent them an e-mail requesting a status update and they have been silent. I will give them one more week before I open a dispute with PayPal.
This happened to us, ebay is such a great company they gave us back our money in a quickness.... but then 2 months later my sons jersey came in the mail. I tried to contact them to pay them but there account was removed from ebay.
I add all my cards to paypal then use my paypal visa card.

Ugh. I didn't know that Ebates had a Staples in-store offer. I thought I was doing good with combining Dosh and CC offers. Thanks for mentioning it!

The item wasn't ordered through eBay. It was a website that she found that was advertised on a YouTube channel that she watches. She is really into anime and so that's why I was fairly certain that the company was not US-based. I decided to use PayPal because I was hoping it would be easier to get a refund if it turned out to be a scam. I didn't want to use our actual credit card or bank account which is why we used a Visa gift card linked through PayPal. It was only a $25 item, but I would still like to get our money back since I am almost 100% sure that the hoodie she "ordered" was more of a scam to get my PayPal or credit card information. Seems ironic that within 24 hours of placing the order, someone tried to access my PayPal account. I sent an e-mail to the "company" requesting a status update and so far...crickets...nothing. According to their website "All orders are processed and shipped withing 3-6 days of placement unless otherwise stated". In addition, the delivery time is listed as "within 15-20 working days". I was supposed to get an e-mail when the order shipped. According to their website, that should have been within 3-6 days (so between June 28 and July 5) and I have not received any communication at all indicating that it has shipped. The 20-day mark for delivery will be July 24 (which accounts for the July 4 holiday) but since I haven't even received notice that it has shipped yet, I doubt it will arrive in the next 8 days. I plan to give them the full benefit of the doubt, but I'm almost certain that I will hear nothing. I will open my dispute with PayPal on July 31 and give them an extra 7 days to try and prove me wrong.
