Disney Gift Card Deals

Can you combine the raise one to your Landrys reward card? Im going in August and just got my reservation. Im going to say my birthday is in August..since I heard they allow that
You should be able to use them both (separately) with no problem.

Is there a reason I'd buy my target gift cards off raise right now, running around 6%, instead of cardpool, which is at 8.5 right now? They are both good sites right?

I've had no problem with purchases from either site. Go with the biggest savings.

Anyone know how fast Disney Movie Reward points expire? I thought I had quite a few but it's been some time since I checked and when I got in my library was there, but no points anymore.

Also does anyone know the 'rules' with the Disney Anywhere option? We have quite a few discs that I hope have an electronic counterpart but I am not sure how to get them to show up?

I had mine disappear once and they were able to restore them for me. The website says they can expire after 210 days without activity on the website. I think I filled out a contact form explaining the situation. It's worth a try. The "Contact Us" form is at the bottom of the page.

Cool! I will try that, thanks!

I have a DMR account but never utilized it. After work, I'm grabbing all the movies I can. Every bit counts, free money to me! Haha.

As far as DMR, you can also earn points for going to the movies at the theatre. That's how I have earned many points since the teens enjoy movies like Avengers. Also they send opportunities for you to earn points in email sometimes. I like truly free or included money. I don't like spending money to get money. Seems quite counterproductive.

Hi. This will be my first time trying to buy discounted gift cards to pay for our trip. I just signed up for a Target debit red card. Can anyone help me on where to go from there for the best savings. It seems on this thread there is a lot going on so I'm not sure exactly what to do. Please help! Thanks!!

Do they give you a code at the theatre? I have never noticed

I'm going to have to see if I have any stubs still! Ever since they print them out on more flimsy paper, I rarely keep them.
It looks like only 4 movies are currently eligible (unless I am looking wrong). My daughter hoards her memorabilia but only 1 may qualify if she still has it.

Yeah, I think I threw away my Tomorrowland ones...I definitely have to save the Inside Out ones I get on Friday!

Thanks for posting this. I signed up, but it will take forever to accumulate enough points for the $10 Dis GC since we rarely go to the movies these days. Still free money, so why not?! Thanks again!

Oh, it's so much fun! Here's what I've gleaned...someone more knowledgeable will surely chime in and correct me if I'm wrong. We really need this in a sticky or something so it's easy to find the directions.

1. Look for a deal on Target gift cards at one of the gift card sites (Cardpool, Raise, etc). Go through ebates or shopathome for cashback.
2. Purchase the discounted Target gift cards -- I look for the electronic ones, in which the codes are sent to me in an email. Meanwhile, you need a physical Target gift card that is YOURS -- has always been yours (NOT one you purchased from the discount site). I used a $5 Target gift card I received from purchasing detergent or something, but you could even just buy a $5 one to do this.
3. On your phone, download the Target app. Put your physical gift card info there and SAVE IT. This will be the "main card" you combine all your other cards to.
4. As soon as the codes arrive, go to your app. Click on the gift card you saved, and scroll down until you see "Combine." You will then add the purchased cards to this main gift card.
5. Now, go through ShopAtHome or Ebates to shop online at Target. Must be online, not in store. Purchase your Disney cards.
6. At checkout, make sure that your RedCard discount is there (5%) BUT click "pay with gift card" or whatever option means you pay with the card. Enter the gift card information. Double check to make sure you are paying with your gift card, not with your RedCard.
7. The Disney cards will arrive in the mail. Go to your Disney account and start paying off your trip!!

I hope I didn't miss anything. It seems like a lot of steps once I typed it all out, but it really doesn't take long, and it's so much fun to save the money!!

I tried to order a gift card using an AmEx gift card I already had. Neither Cardpool nor Raise would take it (it had $60 on it) but now I am seeing a charge of $1 on the card. Not sure if it was Cardpool or Raise, because I tried both. Here's what the hold says: STRIPE INC - Purchase with AVS
Can someone tell me which one that is?

Most of us haven't been seeing cash back on ebates for Target purchases of Disney GCs. eBates terms state that GCs are not eligible for cashback.

It is probably just a pending charge that will drop off in a few days. Not sure who the STRIPE INC is though.
