Hi guys!!
I need a quick bit of help. I logged into ebates, linked through to Target, and now am trying to purchase my gc's using my Raise gc. So far, my 5% off is not showing in the cart for my target red card.

Edited to add-well, it took me a bit of time, but I did it!! Yippee!!! Saved 13.54 on my gift card purchase with Raise.. I then applied it to a disney card purchase at Target saving another $10! I also remembered $30 in target gift cards I had stashed from past gifts! I feel like I found money today!! Thanks guys!!

No, what you do is provide a photo of your ticket. Here's a link to that page and you can click through for the instructions.

This is a great way to earn points, and you can submit up to four for the same movie. So if you take your child's friend along, or you go with another adult who doesn't do DMR you can submit their code and get points. And it's really simple to submit the tickets.

Thanks for posting this. I signed up, but it will take forever to accumulate enough points for the $10 Dis GC since we rarely go to the movies these days. Still free money, so why not?! Thanks again!

Jodie

A few other things you can do:
  1. If you have bought Disney DVDs in the past, look through the cases for DMR codes. I usually draw a line through them once I submit so I don't to again later.
  2. If you have a Facebook account, follow their page. They often do bonus points.
  3. Read the newsletter they send you each month, sometimes there are points hidden there.
  4. Do a google search for DMR codes, you might find a few active ones.
  5. Check your DMR inbox for a survey--more points!
  6. Ask family members who might have Disney DVDs but no interest in submitting points (grandparents, in our case)

How long has DMR been around? I have teenagers, and I think the last Disney movie I purchased was maybe 10-15 years ago - lol - will have to go through our movies and see what I can find. I will keep an eye out for the other things you mention. Thanks!

Also, how can I pay with my gift cards and still
You start to pay with your Traget red card which you had already made your default payment amount. When you get to the "review your order" it takes the 5% discount but allows you to edit the payment method. That is when you add the gift card codes. I have done this it works. I bought them from raise at 9% off and used them. I believe if you link from ebates them will rebate you in that "big fat check" 2%. It really starts to add up.

OK - I lied. I did find a few movies, one of which had a code (think the others were too old). Thank you!

They have short surveys on there that got me to my free gift card (just in case you are short points)

It's been around long enough for me to earn a cool pin set and now a gift card. I ordered my pins in November of 2013 so it's been at least that long. Thanks for the suggestions on points - it helped me look for new point opportunities.

Just another quick update - still waiting on my refund back to my CC from Raise and the dud card from 6/7. When I spoke to them for the 3rd time on Friday (6/12) they admitted they were overwhelmed and their volume for everything has gone up tremendously since May. I had to giggle thinking about these posts and I would agree. I received an email 6/12 letting me know my request for the refund was going to the refund department and then I'd be notified in several (more!) days when my refund was issued. So here I am at 9 days since the dud card charge was billed to my card and no refund yet.

Just be forewarned as this is not the timeframe I expected and hoped for.

I would put a hold on your credit card for this sale or at least threaten them that you are going to if not refunded in 2 day (or whatever your deadline is). Yours was the one that the card was used online right? I wonder if they are having trouble getting Target to cooperate as to who made the purchase.

I had mine disappear once and they were able to restore them for me. The website says they can expire after 210 days without activity on the website. I think I filled out a contact form explaining the situation. It's worth a try. The "Contact Us" form is at the bottom of the page.

In case anyone else had this problem - I did try the contact us form since I could not find any history showing what happened to my points, etc. Apparently they had expired but the rep reinstated them (!!!) which is awesome because I have like 2800 or something. YAY!

THANK YOU for the suggestion to contact them!

Yep I was the one where it was used online at Target, immediately. I really get the impression they are literally overwhelmed which is great for business but I guess with the increase in sales there is bound to be more duds or fraud sadly. I also think part of the initial delay was waiting on Target but it's taken a lot longer to get my refund than I would have guessed so just making sure others are aware.

If no credit on my cc tomorrow I'm escalating as I pay my cc in full and I'm still waiting on the credit so I can stop thinking about it and go on vacation next week :)

You're very welcome! Now go buy a Disney gift card!:earsboy:

When I order the Disney gift cards from Target, I have the physical cards sent to me. Is there an option for it to be sent as an e-gift card and if so, is there a reason not to get it in this format?

I did not think so (could not find), but a Target customer service rep insisted there was a way to do so but would simply only tell me to select that option when checking out (this was in response to my complaint of a lost package and her response was that I should consider getting the gift cards as e-gift cards).

Once again, this board/thread has come to the rescue:cheer2:. Our lawnmower finally gave up the ghost last week. My DH had been limping it along despite the broken wheel, non-working self-propel feature and dull blade (Ok, that should have been taken care of:sad2:) but when the bag attachment broke and the bag now falls off constantly, that was the final straw for him. He said he won't mow the lawn again with that mower.

With Father's Day coming up, I decided to surprise him with the mower he wants. They have it available for pickup at the Home Depot...wait:idea:...I can get home Depot cards at a discount:banana:. I went to Sunshine Rewards (1%) and linked to Raise where I bought $372.17 in HD gift cards for $343.52, but I also had a $5 Raise coupon for a referral so my total came down to $338.52. Then, I went to TopCashBack.com (6%) and linked to Home Depot where I ordered the mower. The total cost of the mower was $380.54 incl tax. With the 6% rebate (which already shows pending in my TCB account) and the 1% back from Raise, the overall total cost is $321.96...a savings of $58.58:dance3:!

:disrocks:

I'm on my way to pick it up now:goodvibes.

So... Raise.com said last week Target cards were 8.5% and today they are 5.3% how often do the percentages go up and down? I'm still new to this....

It varies drastically depending on stock level (supply and demand). The percent seems to go up after holidays (graduations, mother's day, father's day) and also goes up when Target is out of Disney GCs online. Use giftcardgranny.com to monitor all sites percentages. Raise is often not he highest percent. But...most people stick with a couple sites they trust.
