Disney Gift Card Deals

So how does this GrowUpYoung thing work? I went to their website and joined. Will they take receipts for Kimberly Clark products from anywhere? I didn't see it addressed at their website.

I learn so much from these threads! I am keeping an eye out for the Kroger deal too. We don' have any Krogers left in my area but that deal was all online so I think it would work for me too!

Are you just buying them for the Best Buy card or can you convert the Best Buy card to a Disney card? I have a best buy gift card that I got for trading in my phone. They would not let me buy a Disney gift card in the store or online. Am I missing something?

I was just at BB store last night and had no problems using a BB giftcard to purchase a Disney GC. Cashier happily took it and even asked if I had any phone shopping apps to scan :rotfl2: YMMV, but it does work in their POS systemin stores. Perhaps try a different store or a different cashier. However, you can not buy a GC with a BB GC online. Orders will be cancelled.

Based on the wesbite, it looks like anytime you purchase a KC product, you upload the receipt. It doesn't state anywhere about qualifying locations. Just the purchases have to be made this month (2/1/18-2/28/18) and uploaded by 3/13/18. I wonder if they'd take my amazon purchases as I buy pull ups from them.

ETA: It says for online orders, to screenshot the order page. Cool!

I'm thinking that since they put the offer for 1/31 - 2/6, they've got to be restocking. Wouldn't make any sense if they put out the offer, knowing it'd be popular, but only did such a limited amount it was out in a few hours or less, when it was meant to run for the week. I'm definitely gonna keep a close watch for when they hopefully restock it!
@bbsearchlight Thx for the heads up on this offer!
It now says “Ended” instead of “Sold Out.”

I had an expired ticket with remaining days from 2002. When we were at the park in Sept the cast member made no mention of being able to use the ticket to purchase a new one. She did give me a new hard plastic card that I was able to add to my Disney account. It has one park hopper. day remaining. So I can call and trade it into say a 2 day regular ticket?
I'm having a hard time following you, and we're likely off topic for this thread.

1. An "expired" ticket is not worth anything. I think you meant to say you had a "no expiration" ticket
2. When you say "2 days remaining," it sounds like you had previously used some days from the ticket. Partially used tickets cannot be upgraded.
3. Then you say you've got one day left. Did you use one day when you got the plastic card?
4. You cannot do any upgrades over the phone, so, no, you can't call to "trade" it.
5. What do you mean by "trade"? As above, you can't upgrade previously used tickets. You can convert an old ticket to the new media and add it to your account, but you already did that.

I am sorry you had a hard time understanding my post. I was asking the question from the post on this thread that I quoted, who called it an expired ticket, which I took to mean the ticket I had.

1. Yes I meant "no expiration" ticket. Thank you for the correct term. Again, expired was mentioned in the original post.
2. I didn't say 2 days remaining. I said with remaining days and I said it has one park hopper day remaining. Thank you for answering my question if I can upgrade/trade this remaining day to a different ticket.
3. Correct it has one day remaining.
4. Got it
5. The original post said if you have an expired ticket, you can use it to purchase a new ticket and pay the difference. I didn't realize expired is different than what I have. I thought all expired tickets that didn't have the "never expire" on them, are just that, expired. I guess I don't know what the OP is referencing.

Thank for explaining I can not purchase a new ticket with the type I have.

All tickets bought now have an expiration date. It is currently December 31, 2018. It will be changing to December 31, 2019 shortly. That means any ticket bought now has to be used by December 31, 2018. That is what the post you quoted was referring to, not your type of ticket.

Thank you to whoever said something about ShopRite gift card deals which start tomorrow. I might have missed that even though we get the paper ad.

I think there is some confusion about the different upcoming deals:

1) Stop & Shop has a deal now thru 2/9 that if you buy A $100 Best Buy gift card, you get $20 off of groceries (purchased together with the gift card). This deal must be loaded onto your Stop & Shop card in your online account. Since these deals usually have limited enrollment, if you are not seeing the deal in the coupons section of your online account, it means they have already reached the maximum.

2) Stop & Shop also has advertised in their circular for next week (2/2-2/8) that if you buy certain products, you can get a Disney gift card. This offer is not limited to Stop & Shop but can be done at any "retailer" (don't know if that includes places like Amazon). Details for this promotion can be found at growupyoung.com

3) Shoprite has a promotion starting next week (2/4 - 2/10) that if you buy $100 in any gift cards (excludes visa, mastercard, and ShopRite gift cards) you get $15 off your next shopping order. In the past, you get a coupon printed on your receipt which you can only use in the following week (so the $15 off coupon will probably be from 2/11 - 2/17). Make sure to save the receipt as the coupon is printed on there. This is limited to 1 per PricePlus card, but if you have more than 1 priceplus card, you can take advantage of it more than once.

Note that Stop & Shop weekly circular goes from Friday - Thursday, while ShopRite goes from Sunday - Saturday.

Also, to clarify on the expired Disney tickets, I was referring to a Disney ticket which has never been used and has expired can be exchanged to purchase a new Disney ticket and you only have to pay the difference in price. However, if the ticket has been used, you must use all remaining days within 14 days of first use. If that ticket expires, you can't use it towards a new ticket.

The deal starts February 2, 2018, at my regional ShopRites, to buy $100 in gift cards (other than ShopRite, Master Card and Visa) and get a coupon for $15 off the next week's shopping trip. Obviously the sales ads begin on different days of the week in different markets, and different offers may even be running in different markets at the same time. This one applies to me, and I might not have noticed it if someone hadn't mentioned it somewhere, as I had already done my shopping for the week and wasn't planning to go out again or even look at the sales ad. I have the print ad here and will be doing this deal. So thanks again, whoever it was!

As far as I know, at least in New Jersey, all ShopRite circulars go from Sunday to Saturday. What town are you in that starts on Friday?

I don't know which call or chat did it. I just eventually got an email telling me the card had been authorized. I was on the verge of disputing the purchase with Amex.
I had it happen twice. The first time, I submitted through the chat and it was taken care of the next day. The second time, it took forever, like two weeks. I'd just submit it through chat, make sure to tell them you know how to activate the card, but after clicking through the link, it didn't work.

I still have no expiration tickets left. I save mine for quick weekend trips. Just be careful with these. Are these on your MDE account? Make sure that these tickets aren't first in your list of tickets especially if you add a new ticket to your MDE. Guest Services can check it for you.

Do you have a Chase Hyatt cc? Check your email for a grocery offer. You have to click through the link and type in your cc number. Once you register, you have until 2/28/18 to make a $300 purchase and get 10% credited to your account. I know Meijer has Disney gift cards. Has anyone seen Walmart gift cards at Kroger or other grocery stores? I'd like to buy Walmart gift cards and place an order for Disney Gift Cards at Samsclub.com. It's still at least 10% off any gift cards or of course you could just buy groceries.

Been reading it, it shows exactly how to upload your recipes and online shopping is stated as fine. Just says take a screenshot of your order page. It need to have 4 things

So happy to do one that is online as I miss out on a ton. I need to stock up on diapers and wipes. Target has 2 boxes of huggies wipes that comes with a $5 gift card that I am eyeing. Going to look around a little and see if there are better deals.

ChasePay promo for 10x on CSRs finally seems to be coding right! A DP on Reddit and 2 DPs on the credit card thread (one was mine) of it coding 10x if the purchase was made starting in the last few days. (As for those who purchased last week those are still sitting at 1x, Chase told my fam member they'll get the 9x bonus points in the next 1-2 billing cycles.)
It's coding right now. I purchased a Disney gift card this week and I checked this evening and it coded correctly.

I am not in New Jersey. Our ShopRite circulars are from Friday to Thursday. Safeway and Giant are the same. Another chain just changed from Sunday to Saturday to from Wednesday to Tuesday. Many families here do not get the daily newspaper anymore, but a free shoppers paper in a plastic bag is thrown onto everyone's yards on Wednesday or Thursday.
