Yesterday I ordered $100 gift cards from BJs through Mr. Rebates. The gift cards were $94.99 and I have pending $$ in my Mr. Rebates of $2.85 for each card I bought. $100 gift card for $92.14!! Plus I'm getting rewards on my Disney Visa for the $94.99. I have the Disney Premier Visa but I think I only get 1% at BJs unless they count it as a grocery store. Anyway that"s another $0.95. I think I will order another 10 $100 cards

Did you happen to do it on mobile? I did as well, and didn't see any pending cash, then I went back and saw that BJ's doesn't have any mobile offers through Mr. Rebates. I assume that's whats going on?

Hmmm, I think I did it on my iPad, but not through the app. My click summary history shows it and lists 3%, there is just nothing pending. I'm also waiting for it to show up in BJ's rewards history to see how it shows up. Fingers crossed for a little extra but not counting on it.

Never had a problem buying gift cards with a credit card at Lowe's. Amex even had an offer for Lowe's towards the end of last year, so I know for sure I used an Amex for Disney cards.

I did this last month and literally had all 1500 in my hand 4 days later ....I had to sign for them with fedex
i think.

I had the same experience, and since I work this was tough. I now buy them a few days apart in 500 and 1000 batches. No signing.

It worked great! I was telling her about how I wanted the 5% since that was like 7 bucks off the 150 and she got excited and asked if I had heard of mypoints. I said yes and then chuckled in my head. Didn't seem like she uses it as a shopping portal though.

I'm looking for a spreadsheet to keep track of savings on Disney gift cards and keep track of amount needed still toward vacation. I'd like to be able to track cash back, etc and figure that into percentage saved on entire trip.

Anyone have one they can share??

Got my BJs order today. Exactly one week from the day I ordered. Came in a day later than tracking originally anticipated (local post office is slow). Ordered 9, didn't have to sign. Highly recommend clicking on the tracking number on the BJs site and then signing up with the post office for text deliveries. They were very accurate, and gave me a bit of reassurance tracking such a valuable package.

I ordered one $100 GC from BJ's last week to test out the rewards, Mr Rebates still is not showing anything pending, which is a bummer. BUT I did earn the full 5% in BJ's rewards for using my BJ's Elite MasterCard I am so mad I did not find this earlier as I recently paid for our June cruise only using the Red Card discount

Just got my cash back confirmation from Mr. Rebates ($45.60!)... signed up for the Discover It just to take advantage of the 5% cash back at BJ's, but this transaction I did on my husband's card - final savings, $201 on $1600 worth of cards, or 12.5%!

When my card comes, I'll repeat! Only since it's my first year with Discover It, they'll double my cash back for the first year - making the savings on my 2nd $1600 worth of cards - $276 or 17.26%!

Be carful because there is quarterly limits on the 5% rotating category's. Discover has a limit of $1,500 in purchases per quarter. Anything after that gets the standard 1% back. It hasn't been announced if 3rd quarter (July-September) will be 5% back at wholesale clubs or not.

My rule of thumb is if you don't want questions asked of you, don't ask questions of them.

I'm hesitant to try again since I didn't get cash back on the first. You mentioned you did it on an iPad before, was that the case with your second purchase as well?

Do you know if it need to be booked during those dates or travel has to be through those dates?
DH has the AmEx and it is such a pain to get him to look for the deals. But we do have a Universal trip in the works for August.
