CardCash has an extra 5% off sitewide sale going on today. Promo code: HIGHFIVE.

I got $200 for Target for $179.55, not bad. Plus my credit card rewards.

Ditto, only I bought a lot more than $200 because I just started buying gift cards for my next trip which I hope is this year. :bitelip: Plus racking up the credit cards points to use towards airfare.

There's a bunch of $100 cards for 5.5% discount, plus the extra 5% with the HIGHFIVE coupon...bringing it to 10.2% off total. They will sell out pretty fast, but if you have nothing better to do, keep refreshing because they update the inventory frequently!

This is my first post and I am so excited!! I just got home from my local target and got 4 $100 disney gift cards for $331.64. :dogdance:

I got 4% off a target gift card from raise. Then was able to use my red card. I know I've seen people get a lot more discounts on this forum but I'm so excited for my accomplishment today

First off... :welcome:

Now, I say this with all the kind happiness in the world: wanna walk us through your math? It just doesn't make any sense to me or maybe- does the $331.64 not include what you paid Raise for the gift card maybe? (We're always helping each other with the math around here. Don't forget to include that number in your final savings calculations!)

I'm lost. Red card discount when paying with gift cards died last year. I don't get how you got a 17% discount.

Do you guys know if the Disney Store gift cards from CardCash are actual gift cards OR merchandise credit? Does CardCash sell merchandise credit and label it gift cards?

To be safe, you should assume Disney gift cards offered through reseller sites are Disney Store/Disneystore .com-only or merchandise credit.

I did once purchase a "Disney Store" gift card from Raise (I specifically intended to use it on Disneystore .com), but just out of curiosity tried to combine it with another Disney Gift Card on disneygiftcard .com, and it worked! I wouldn't expect this to be typical. Most likely, a "Disney" gift card was mislabeled and sold as a "Disney Store" gift card.

Agreed that math does not compute. Unless you used some free Target gift cards.

The way an in-store register would process this transaction is to apply the balance of your Raise gift cards (purchased at 4%) to $400; then, it would give you a 5% discount off whatever amount was remaining and actually charged to your REDcard.

If you did it this way, you would nominally be saving less than 5% because part of the total was paid for with a 4% discount (not including any credit card reward points or cash back that you'd get for buying on Raise), when you could've gotten a flat 5% off by paying with just your REDcard.

So I had:
-a bag discount- .05
-Paid 48.85 for a 50.86 gift card
-1% cash back with ebates
-My subtotal was 399.95
-Then my red card savings 17.45
-New total before gift card 382.50
-$50.86 gift card
- $331.64

So I had:

I do this too! saved $0.05

-Paid 48.85 for a 50.86 gift card

saved $2.01

-1% cash back with ebates

saved $0.49

saved $17.45

-New total before gift card 382.50
-$50.86 gift card

You're forgetting to count the $48.85 you paid for the $50.86 Target gift card.

Your actual savings is $20, or 5% exactly.

:yay:
Even better was a few weeks ago I had saved up enough shopkick points to get a 50 target gift card and did an even Exchange

Do you know if it need to be booked during those dates or travel has to be through those dates?
DH has the AmEx and it is such a pain to get him to look for the deals. But we do have a Universal trip in the works for August.
I believe just booked

My GC's I ordered on Saturday from BJ's online are still processing today (Wednesday). Is this typical?

*Edit: They just shipped! *

I was going to ask the same. I ordered mine on Sunday and was getting worried they were still processing as of yesterday...

ETA: Mine just shipped!

Maybe they got swamped as tax refunds are coming in plus the people who are putting together some of their final Disney money for summer vacations?

Can a I use BJ's gift cards online to purchase Disney gift cards without being a member? With Target changing things I just want to be sure before I request BJ's gift cards for gifts to save up for our trip this fall!

No, unfortunately they don't take BJ's gift cards as payment for any purchases online, member or not.

Was in Sam's Club today and breezed by the gift card stand. Looked like Disney GC in-store price went up? The tag above the Disney GC said "144.98" Unless they were placed under an incorrect tag that's a price increase from $142.98, right?
Came home, went on Sam's online and the price there is still "$142.98 BUT... $5 shipping on the 5 packs I had in my cart. (used to be free shipping on GC)
