I could of sworn they were $475 with free ship when I ordered last year. I would have let my membership lapse last month had I known they were going to up the price. Target RC is now a better deal unless I can get a significant discount on WM cards thru Raise.

The $100 dollar cards are $5 off, so they are a better deal than the $500.

I placed an order through mr rebates yesterday and am waiting for confirmation on the $$$.

I don't even pay target any attention. BJ's is better in my opinion. $100 gift card for $94.99 free online FAST shipping and you don't have to be a member. Also, if you have a discover credit card you get 5% back. I use evates to get another 1%. Around 10% off face value. I use to use Sam's too but then I found BJ's thanks to this board.

I was dubious too so asked the same a little bit above (maybe a page or so ago) of another who originally mentioned it and confirmed receiving it. I tried it today and got a confirmation of pending cash back. Now, it's not available for me to cash out yet, but it did post to my account.

Any update to this? Does it still seem to be working? I am going to place an order with BJ's for GC's and thinking I should sing up for Mr. Rebates.

After spending about 30 minutes imputting my 60 (!) $50 gift cards this weekend, I'm willing to take a 1% cut for 4 cards vice the multiples it would take. I hear you, though, seems like the opportunity to save by a large margin is shrinking.

Unfortunately for me BJs has cancelled every single transaction I've ever made with them (ranging from $50-300) so they are off the table for me. None of the multiple service advisors can say why. So Sam's it is.

Some markets shouldn't count Target out just yet. In the St. Louis area at least, Disney gift cards are eligible for Cartwheel Perks, which means a free ~$20 something (laundry detergent, movie, athletic wear, whatever) for every $500 in gift cards bought. If you count just REDCard savings, that's 11.9% back, though some of it is tied up in pre-defined perks. The percentage gets higher if you can find 7-8% off Target gift cards, which still apply to the perk. Buying these also lets you get your 1-2% cash back on a credit card. If you find some good gift card deals, you're looking at 13-14% back in cash and perks. Athletic wear, movies and laundry detergent all pair well our Disney vacations, so there's always something needed from the list of perks available.

Me too! I just placed my first order and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my GCs. They are my first order for my upcoming trip so it'll make me feel like my trip is that much closer! For those keeping track of BJs shipping on the GCs: I ordered Sat 4/15, they shipped Tues 4/18 and are expected to arrive Fri 4/21.

Okay more questions, I feel like I've been out of the loop for a while. I am definitely going to try Mr. Rebates for 3% on BJ's purchases. I am also a BJ's reward member with the Mastercard. Has anyone successfully gotten the rewards for gift card through BJ's even though the website says they are not eligible? That would be a nice stack if I could earn another 5% back in the form of BJ's rewards.

Well, it's pending in my account so it all looks good so far. I only ordered $200 to test the waters, but if it successfully let's me cash out, I'm going to order a lot more.

If I had a Discover card, then this would probably be the deal for me.

True. When I got my latest Sam's cards, I had to get the 3x$50 pack anyway, so I didn't even think about this aspect.

There should be a "Perks" tab on the bottom of the Cartwheel app. Basically, it's 10 point for every dollar spent, and purchases with Target gift cards count. You can scan your Cartwheel app when you checkout, or you can scan your receipt Barcode into cartwheel after the transaction is complete. Once you reach 5000 points, you can pick your reward to get a Barcode to scan at the register next time you're there to get your freebie.

Bummer! Ah well, it'll be nice to get $10 off new release movies anyway. We've pretty much depleted all the good Disney blu-rays that are sub-$20 at this point anyway.
