Someone ROYALLY screwed up at DVA. I had posted a couple weeks back that I received an email stating I'll be receiving my $220 bonus card soon. Well, I already received ALL the bonuses I should receive up until my trip departure on August 6th. And not one was worth $220 - in fact I have no idea how they got to that number???

Well, we got back from our cruise late last night (early this morning) and there was my $220 gift card from DVA! This is not the first bit of pixie dust we've received in the last few days. If you read my most recent post on the DCL board you'll see what I mean. I'm thinking I should play the lottery at this point...

Based on DVA's reputation, I wouldn't be surprised if they sent mine to you!

@havaneselover if you look at the post, it's from a couple of months ago. (I think we're talking about the same thread) I believe many have posted of buying recently. (As in the last few days)

There's one that's an hour old with a ton of comments. And there's another one that's two hours old. Same issue--Disney gift card orders paid with Target gift cards are being cancelled. I may be losing it though--hopefully.

Yes, but orders haven't been getting canceled. Now it seems they are.

Honestly, this sounds like another software glitch. One person couldn't buy Disney cards and another couldn't buy Southwest cards, and someone was asking about how to tell if you are banned.

Not sure but who knows with Target. And I'm not sure that those comments don't all make sense together since the problem seems to be orders being canceled when paying with Target gift cards.

I just had my Target order canceled this afternoon. My total was around $220. I paid $180 with a gift card and the rest on my Red Card. It was canceled immediately.

I was going to try to order one to test it out, but I can't get the Target site to work. I just get a spinning circle. Also, I have an intense dislike of their new site.

I tried to get a $50 Disney gift card with my $49.25 remaining on my Target gift card and it was cancelled immediately. Looks like that route is a done deal. I guess I will just look at it this way...all of the Target gift cards that I acquire are free, either with purchase or through rewards programs. As long as I can still take them to the store and use them for Disney, then each $5 gift card is 5% off of a $100 card. Sure, it will take a little longer to see a big savings, but it is still a nice discount. Another perk is that I don't need to worry about them getting lost in the mail or stolen. I do feel bad for folks who do not have a Target within reasonable driving distance. This sucks for them.

I placed an order on target.com for (4) Disney $50 gift cards and it was cancelled. Tried adding a few small filler items and they cancelled it again :/

I may have to churn the eBay gc I just bought at Kroger towards Best Buy then get Disney cards.
