Disney Gift Card Deals

I just bought $95 worth of Target gift cards from ABC Gift Cards for $89.30, and will flip into $100 worth of Disney gift cards, a 10.5% savings. But is ABC Gift Cards the same thing as Card Cash?

I saw some chatter about Raise giving 8% back on Shop Your Way but their terms say it's not valid on gift cards. Has anyone been successful in getting points through SYW for Raise? I've spent like $20K on Raise in the last 12 months (for my small business mostly) and would love to find a portal that works.

I placed an order today on Raise using the shopyourway link as a test. It wasn't for a Target card, but another gift card I needed to purchase through Raise. No sign of any points yet, but I'll update if/when I do.

I have had to swipe the card twice on a few transactions. The cashier said it was because I wasn't using a credit card. After the second swipe, the $100 came off. Maybe try that next time and see if it works.
My last time with Walgreens cards, I had to swipe twice also.

To put you at ease, their website has been doing that for a couple weeks, so no mass cancellations are due.

I, too, have manually deleted the duplicated gift cards for fear of the charges hitting my Red Card. I think soon I'll try to let an order go through and see if it gets cancelled, charged, or let go with the erroneous GC debits.
Thanks for that, it did calm my nerves! And I just got shipment notifications so all was well indeed.

Just thought I'd chime in and agree that using egift card at Kmart requires manager intervention when I try, so I recommend taking them to sears first :)

I have repeatedly had success at Sears. Last time was about 10 days ago. I think some members posted getting turned away, but I've always slid my card and they've been accepted. I go to the same cashier, if she is there in the men's department. We talk about my upcoming trip. I explain how combining the gift cards is safer than cash, due to being able to transfer balances if a card is lost, etc.

I will say that I've only used physical cards. Today, I'm going in with $400 in eGC's from the PPDG promotion. I will report back my results

I got my $10 egift card from this today! I wasn't sure if I would get it since I bought walmart gift cards as my purchase, but it worked!

I was just coming to post the same thing! I had been thinking about it the past couple of days and had given up hope!

Thanks for posting. The email went in my promotions folder with the million other emails I get a day so I totally missed it!

Looking for any more info on using Sears card to purchase some ebay cards. Anyone know or think that it's easier to use a Sears card at Sears to buy some ebay gc's, than to use that Sears card at a Kmart to buy ebay gc's? I already know that the Kmarts I have access to are onkly a couple and they won't allow gc to gc purchases. I wonder if the Sears are any better than Kmarts in allowing this? I already know that the Kmarts here won't allow this and wonder if Sears in the same areas are connected in some way and if one won't allow the others won't allow, or if they are totally separate and independent of each other and it won't matter at a Sears store if a nearby Kmart doesn't allow the gc to gc purchase.

Also, any idea where in Sears they usually keep the gc section? Or if its only regular Sears of if they sell gc's at the other hometown Sears(or whatever they are called).

Sorry if this has been covered, but what happens to your balance of gift card applied to your room if it is not fully depleted? I recall back in 2014 I was refunded cash, but not sure if this is still the case or if there are dollar limits to this. Thanks.

They will not refund you cash, the balance will go back to the GC. But they won't take GC at front or leave a credit in your room. If you want charging privileges you need to have a credit/debit card on file and periodically or at the end go pay with your GC.

Meijer has an mperk reward that you can earn up to 10 times. It makes for 6% savings and if you do Target to Disney you get an additional 5% plus any credit card rewards you could earn depending on what your card offers (additional 2% for Disney Visa for example) so 13%+ off potentially. Also they have mperk coupons for $10/$100 visa and $10/$100 MasterCard gift cards. These are excluded from the reward but could be used to pay for the Gift card or added to some other part of your churn. They often have activation charges associated and I'm not sure what they are but this is usually still a money making discount.

This must be a recent change because I did get money back in 2014.

We stayed at the Poly in 2015 and CR earlier this year and they would only apply the gift card to the outstanding room charges at both resorts no room credit allowed.

Yes. I've been purchasing GCs from both of them for many years now. They are two separate storefronts for the same company. That said, they can sometimes list the same card on each storefront at different price points. It can pay to look at both before making your purchase.
