My DD is getting married in September they reserved a bank of rooms at the Hilton. I will be buying 7 rooms. I know from those that have booked already that Ebates did credit which is great but I was thinking this AM maybe I could buy Hotel.com GC's today and get 8%. Then use the GC's to book through the Hilton site using Ebates. Does anyone see an issue with this plan? TIA

I believe that if you are going to use Hotels.com gift cards, you have to book via Hotels.com. I am fairly certain you cannot use a Hotels.com gift card as a payment method on the hotel's website.

Hotels . Com GC just works for hotels.com not Hilton. You could use Hilton GC to book the rooms . Although in my expirience booking hotels for weddings you always had to call to make reservations since they are blocked. I imagine you could still pay with a Hilton GC (if there is such a thing).

Target has been gone for several months now. How much longer do you have to turn these into Disney Gift Cards? If I were you, I'd browse the last few hundred pages and see what works best for you. What works for some, doesn't work for others.

Personally, if PayPal is cooperating with me, I purchase Best Buy Gift Cards to buy eBay and continue that cycle. Another option is Walgreens but they charge shipping. Both are bought through eBay. Both sell eBay and Disney.

Others use Fuel rewards (I don't have that opportunity). Some use Gamestop or Kmart/Sears.There's no one easy way to do it like before and there's a lot of risks associated than before. Again, I highly suggest reading over the last few hundred pages or ask more detailed questions as much has changed.

Unfortunately there is no "easy win" anymore. If you want to know what happened since Target gift cards became unavailable on eBay you'll want to start reading posts beginning May 12. To find out what people are doing now, I'd at least read back 25 pages. Each method has its own risks and it's definitely YMMV on a lot of them.

ETA: I agree with the PP to go back 100 pages rather than the 25 I recommended. Things move very fast at times.

I just successfully tested a Walgreens flip. I had two Walgreens on my way home today (those things are EVERYWHERE) so I went into the first one and bought a $25 card, went to the second one and flipped it for a $25 eBay card. Couldn't have been easier. I just swiped and was done!

Here's something I've noticed on a few recent orders that maybe someone can work into their churn somehow...

If you use Sears/Kmart Shop Your Way rewards, they have a shopping portal similar to ebates that earns you a percentage of your purchase back in shop your way rewards that can be used at Kmart or Sears. When Disney store was having their promo for the free Cinderella's Castle play set with purchase, I bought a $125 Disney gc and a t-shirt to have spent enough for the free castle; at the time, Disney was offering either 25% or 30% cash back through SYW rewards, and I ended up with over $30 free to spend at either Kmart or Sears. I placed another Disney order last week through the SYW portal when Disney was having the friends & family sale and earned another $20+ SYW rewards. I just checked the portal today because I want to do another order, and the Disney store is at 20% back in SUW rewards. I have had success in getting the rewards to credit when buying Disney gift cards on the Disney store website, but I've always purchased other items as well, so not sure if just gift cards would credit or now. But, as long as the percentage back in SYW rewards is 20% or greater, and you regularly shop Sears or Kmart to maximize the use of SYW rewards, this could be a nice additional discount or addition to churning. I'm cashed out for this trip so haven't spent the time to try to figure out how to best maximize this, but wanted to pass along the info to anyone who wants to try to incorporate it into their churn!

I'm still trying to figure out SYW. I bought a bookcase last month and ended up with $53 in points. But I do see earn 5000 points for $25 gift card.

I did find something that said it excludes gift card purchases. Maybe adding something gets around that???

Walgreen's sells Paypal GC. Would this be a way to extend the Ebay GC limit?
- Purchase Walgreen's on Ebay earning ebucks
- Purchase Paypal at WG (there is a 3.95 fee according to listing description so would need to earn enough ebucks to offset that)
- Load that GC to Paypal and repeat.

This is assuming that Paypal sees this GC as just increasing your PP balance and does not count it as part of the Ebay GC limit. Downside is the 3.95 fee. And, there is a limit of $500/day and $2000/mo

I was actually thinking about this last week as a possible way to avoid the PPDG issue, since it's not an ebay GC, maybe the purchase would go though easier.

Since PayPal is a cash equivalent, I am almost 100% certain you would not be able to use a Walgreen's gift card to pay for a PayPal gift card. I believe they fall under the same category as as the pre-paid Visa and MC.

Then my hopes were dashed.

HOWEVER I did fine USO gc at my Kroger (only 5 left) so I swooped those up and did a happy jig along with a target (ended up with $250 Disney at 25% off with some of my other spare gc) to get a $35 fuel discount this week. Only 7% discount plus cc rewards but better than nada. Plus it's the first time I've seen USO anywhere in my area. Anyone know if you can use these to pay the resort?

Not sure how the bank of rooms works. Assume you would need to go thru Hilton to get one of the 'bank'.
As other's have said, with a Hotels.com GC you would need to book thru hotels.com. If the hotel rate is the same, it is a decent option. I recently did this. Made ebucks and got ebates x2 - on the gc purchase and the hotel.com purchase.

Anyone purchased from Raise lately? I just bought a Target card and it's still processing hours later. There's a banner on the top saying you can't use gift cards to buy gift cards.

I have cashed out almost everything for Disney at this point, but I did redeem my $200 in eBucks for an eBay gift card right at the start of the month in hopes of getting an eBucks promo during July. I did get the promo yesterday. I would like to continue churning this small amount for now and decided to try my luck at buying 2x $100 Best Buy GCs from PPDG. I was weary and planned to give up if it required any kind of verification attempts and instead pay shipping for Walgreens cards if necessary. Well, no issues at all. Paid, got my $16 in eBay bucks, eBates posted and I got the gift card codes emailed within 15 minutes.

I haven't ordered anything from PPDG for almost 2 months, so maybe any flags from previous purchases have cleared? I used to have the same verification loop hell that others have described.

I bought Target egift cards from Raise on Monday 7/18 and used most of them already to purchase Disney gift cards at Target.com without a problem. They were emailed to me almost instantly after purchase on Raise. I've gotten shipping notice in the Disney gift cards.

Where is the banner?
