I bought Target egift cards from Raise on Monday 7/18 and used most of them already to purchase Disney gift cards at Target.com without a problem. They were emailed to me almost instantly after purchase on Raise. I've gotten shipping notice in the Disney gift cards.

It's strange, it's right above the processing card. I've never seen it before and I buy from Raise a ton!

Are you on the Raise app? I just checked one of my Target egift card orders and I now see the wording you see, but in a different place. See the pic I attached. It's been there all my Target orders, which my earliest was just earlier this month. So I can't speak to exactly when it started. And I can say that I ordered just 2 days ago and had no problem. Maybe they added that when Target made a policy change that egift cards cannot be used to buy other egift cards? Just a thought.

Since PayPal is a cash equivalent, I am almost 100% certain you would not be able to use a Walgreen's gift card to pay for a PayPal gift card. I believe they fall under the same category as as the pre-paid Visa and MC.

Good catch. I don't have a WG cards to test with, but I may just have to try it. The difference I see is that PP GC can only be used to fund your PP acct, where the Visa/MC can be used anywhere, which is my understanding of closed loop vs open loop.

Has anyone ever used a walmart gift card from raise.com? I just purchased my first one and it printed without a bar code? I've gotten them from swagbucks before and they always had a scannable bar code and I could go through the self checkout with them. This will have to be keyed in manually by the cashier...I wish I could just scan it. Oh well, I'm going to try it tonight. If I have any problems, I'm going to be placing a walmart.com order soon and I'll just use it there.

I bought $200 worth of eBay gift cards with Target gift cards bought on Raise last night (in store). No problem.

Target has been gone for several months now. How much longer do you have to turn these into Disney Gift Cards? If I were you, I'd browse the last few hundred pages and see what works best for you. What works for some, doesn't work for others.

Personally, if PayPal is cooperating with me, I purchase Best Buy Gift Cards to buy eBay and continue that cycle. Another option is Walgreens but they charge shipping. Both are bought through eBay. Both sell eBay and Disney.

Others use Fuel rewards (I don't have that opportunity). Some use Gamestop or Kmart/Sears.There's no one easy way to do it like before and there's a lot of risks associated than before. Again, I highly suggest reading over the last few hundred pages or ask more detailed questions as much has changed.

Do you buy the eGift Cards (through Paypal gifts) and use them in store?

Okay, holy moly. I just purchased $200 worth of Best Buy gift cards on eBay. Check my math--

I should get $16 in ebucks (8%), $2 in Disney Rewards for using my Chase Disney Visa (1%) and $10 from eBates (5%) for a total of $28 back from this one purchase. This seems crazy to me, if its real. So now I can go to Best Buy and either buy Disney gift cards or eBay gift cards and hope that Target gift cards will be back in stock soon. Hhmmmmm.....

Target cards have been hovering around 3.9-4.12% for the past 30 minutes or so.

Can you explain how that works? You buy things on eBay and then return to the store for store credit that you use to buy gc? So they don't refund to the original payment method?
