Disney - get control of these groups of teens that CHEER and YELL their way through the parks!

^^Thank you but that video does not illustrate what I am talking about. The LOUD, organized clapping and singing that drowns out everything else until they pass, is what I have a major problem with.

Oh they were... you could hear them coming from a long way away. Honestly though, that was one of the quietest groups during my last trip. It just happened to be the only one I thought to film since I already had my camera out when they oopsed and went down the closed pathway

slightly better idea, but still not nearly as bad as what we dealt with at DHS. clapping, singing, cheering

They're annoying because of how they behave, not where they come from.

Who said they were annoying because of their country of origin? Nobody. But if tour groups from a particular country are consistently and repeatedly disruptive, then identify them. I'm not about to condemn ALL tour groups, only the worst offenders.

There is a video I've seen of them in line at Philharmagic-it was deafening. I also was watching a ToT ride through video and they were in the que and you couldn't hear any of the pre show stuff. I'm all for having fun-but not at the expense of the fun of others. Thankfully we've never had to deal with this first hand, but I think I would try to detour around them if I could.

I don't mind it so much in the parks, but I do when the chanting and cheering (from any group) goes on at the resorts. This past February my son and I stayed at POP. There was a cheerleading competition going on that week and many teams stayed at POP. They were cheering in the food court, at the pool and while walking to their rooms from the bus stop, even when it was late at night. I really don't understand why all of that was necessary or why the adults thought it was OK.

I've seen this behavior before however not in Disney. I've seen it in a Spanish theme park called Portaventura. (this park used to be part owned by Universal and Merlin)

Again its the same sort of thing, large groups of 14 - 17 year olds, teenagers basically, chanting and clapping.

The only place it bothered me was in the queues because you couldn't get away and it was really loud.

It just seems to be their culture but I must admit if it happened near me while I was waiting for a parade to start it might grate on my nerves a fair bit.

MrInfinity, can imagine standing and waiting for a bus back to your resort at the end of a long long HOT day and the dancing, chanting and screaming goes on and on? Believe me, you are lucky to miss this Disney experience! And extra lucky if this activity is for the resort buses next to yours and not in your actual resort line

I think that is one of the times it WOULDN'T bother me. You are waiting for a bus, not trying to enjoy an attraction or the park's atmosphere. And, really, the kids are enjoying themselves.

I just looked this up on YouTube. Wow! That got loud, especially when they began stomping. I would think that it must have impacted the show that taking place while they did this.

This really isn't anything new. The South American tour groups are notorious for this behavior at Disney. That's why we stay away from the Value Resorts as a general rule. They like Pop Century for some reason. We have only ran into them in July and late Jan/early Feb.

I was there once during the time that these groups attend. The chanting didn't really bother me - it did bother my DD but I just tried to get her to laugh about it. The only time this group really bothered me was when they tried to stand right in front of us during Wishes. When I told them that we were in that spot first and moved DD and myself back to our spot in front of them, they acted so disgusted at us. I couldn't believe they thought we should move for them!

I know. As I said, I've heard the complaints for years but never knew what exactly the problem was. Now I know.
Will avoid mid-July going forward, and I guess Jan/Feb as well
