Mussels (not bad, unusual combination of flavors with a hint of spice)


Vowed this trip to try the famous School Bread from Kringla Bakery in Norway at Epcot. Was a 5/10 for me. My husband enjoyed it though. To each their own.


Tried RAGLAN ROAD for their Sunday brunch. Was REALLY good!

Fish and chips were DELISH! Every bite super crispy!


Shepherds Pie was super flavorful and I was a fan of the absence of peas and carrots. The sauce was INTENSE but really really good!


By the time we finished at Raglan Road, we somehow got into GIDEON’S BAKEHOUSE. Bought some chocolate chip, triple chocolate, and pistachio toffee chocolate chip cookies. We all voted the last one as best! They were all good, though I wouldn’t wait three hours for them. Followed advice of someone in line and put them in ziplocs and brought home to freeze and enjoy later!
This box with 5 cookies was ABSURDLY heavy!

PRIMO PIATTO - one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had on property! And this was quick service!!!

Tangerine soft serve (surprisingly one of my favorites! Super delicious and fresh!)


Avocado toast (ok but I think they forgot the goat cheese)
Brisket hash with hollandaise, crispy potatoes, and hollandaise (the crispy potatoes with the sauce and egg…yum!)
Cinnamon bites with and without the candied bacon (really sweet but delicious!)
Fruit loops shake (surprisingly really yummy!)

I've been longing for a lobster roll from the boathouse. Too bad it is not in a traditional split top bun. Not sure how I would be a bite of lobster in each bite of the sandwich.

Looks so good! I originally booked this in May but at the last moment switched out to something else. I have to try BH on our next trip.

Toledo gets some criticism but for me, it was one of the best meals of our May trip. First time eating here so I don't know maybe we just made good choices. Started off with my new Gran Destino cocktail the Sangria Tini now that the Sherry Cobbler is gone. Everything was so good! The Pan Con Tomate "bread" was so fresh. My scallops were perfectly seared and seasoned and my husband, who usually says it's fine when you ask him about his food, raved about his braised chicken. The desserts were also very good and to top a wonderful evening off, a terrific view! We will definitely be back even if not staying at GDT/CSR.

Dying for the lemon blueberry pancakes....yum and out of all the trips we have made, yet to try the school bread I may just have to finally try it this trip to see if it's all the hype--everyone raves about it.
