In September my mom and I did a quick service only trip because plans had to change at the last minute, but we ate so well and really enjoyed the flexibility of not having to worry about ADRs. Here is a start of what we ate:
Pinocchio Village Haus (Fantasyland, MK) - chocolate and regular milk, chicken Caesar salad, tomato soup, caprese flatbread. we shared all of this and were both full. everything was very good, too.
Zuri's Sweet Shop (Africa, AK) - matching giraffe rice krispie treat and frosted cookie. the cookie was so delicious, but I had to eat it right away because the frosting was melting in the heat. I wanted to be in the picture because they matched my outfit lol.
Les Halles (France, Epcot) - the one on the left is a frangipane and I forget the name of the one on the right. The frangipane is a puff pastry with the most heavenly almond paste filling. the one on the right is a chocolate ganache filled with chocolate and white chocolate mousse. both were exceptionally delicious but the frangipane was one of my favorite treats of the whole trip.
La Cantina de San Angel (Mexico, Epcot) - churros, beef tacos and chicken tacos. I was a little disappointed about the rice and beans on the side (although they were fine) because I thought the meals came with chips and salsa on the side. guess that changed. the tacos were very good, the meat was flavorful and the churros were amazing!!
Malaysian Seafood Curry.....Mahi Mahi, scallops, little neck clams, mussels, shrimp, zucchini, roma tomatoes and red curry coconut broth with jasmine or brown rice
Columbia Harbor House (Liberty Square, MK) - salmon with couscous and broccoli, fried shrimp with broccoli, vegetarian chili. The meals were delicious, and it was really great to get some broccoli while on vacation. the chili had olives in it though which threw me off.
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (Main Street, MK) - ice cream cookie sandwich with chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream. Wow this was so tasty but it was huge and it was a bit too much of a good thing, even split between the two of us. Also kind of messy and hard to eat, lol.
The Lunch Pad (Tomorrowland, MK) - sweet cream cheese pretzel! This is one of my favorite Disney treats ever! OMG so hot and yummy, and just a little bit sweet. It's reminiscent of a bagel with cream cheese but better.
