Crazycatlady, how were the scallops at Flying Fish? They look awesome and may make me veer from usual duo. :)

I don't eat scallops, but my dad thought they were terrific! Flying Fish was both of our favorite restaurant of the trip. The banana Napoleon dessert (shown from 2 sides) was mine and delicious, also! :)

Yum, glad to hear it! We love FF.

They called this Jungle Juice. Or Jambo Punch. Or something. I don't remember, but it was delicious!

rndmr2- I agree that the mushroom soup always seems to come in different bowls. I had seen this bowl in other people's dining reviews, along with square bowls and normal soup bowls. The soup was delicious, though. :)

The other picture is the swordfish with seafood pirogi. It is no longer on the menu, which is probably a good thing, because my dad was not impressed with it. He said that the fish was very bland and could have used some more seasoning and the pirogi was pretty dry. Artist Point was our least favorite Signature restaurant, but I want to try it again sometime, just in case it was an off night.

Thanks for responding. I didn't think I saw anything like that on the current menu. We were there Sept 29th and we all really enjoyed it (was with My Dad and DH). It was my and my DH's first signature meal and I think my Dad's too, although I'm not sure. (We have eaten at LeCellier but before it was signature)

We enjoyed our dinner at Mama Melrose. Our server was AMAZING and really made the experience. The food was overall tasty, but not fabulous.

The best entree was the Chicken Campanelle. It was really tasty, but such an enormous portion!! I can eat, but I only got through maybe a third of this (it's a deceivingly deep bowl). It was quite rich!

This is the Charred Strip Steak with the 5 cheese baked macaroni subbed out for mixed vegetables. The steak had a nice flavour and the vegetables were cooked beautifully (tasty with a slight crunch):

This was the Oven Baked Chicken alla Parmigiana. It was the most disappointing entree - not much flavour at all to this one:

And lastly - our awesome server Brian!
