Bacon double cheeseburger with french fries. Both DH and I liked this place a lot. The burgers were pretty good IMO. I'm not sure why people have complained about the buns...I thought they were fine.
Disney117.jpg

Cheesecake! This was actually very good.
Disney118.jpg

Steak and shrimp with vegetables (zucchini, onions, mushrooms), noodles, and rice. We love this place. We were sitting with another family so I had eaten some of mine before I ventured to take the picture! :lmao: The portions are a little larger than pictured. The dipping sauces are great too!
Disney162.jpg

Chocolate ginger cake. Not my favorite dessert but it was pretty good.
Disney163.jpg

Overall, we love this place! It did get a little hot in the dining area, probably because of the grills right in front of us. They could have cranked the A/C a little more but the food was wonderful.

The famous school bread! It totally lived up to the hype for me, but I do LOVE all things coconut. I ate this for breakfast one morning and it was extremely filling.
Disney164.jpg

Another first for me - Dole Whip float. I had gone back and forth with myself as to which type I was going to get, vanilla and pineapple swirl, plain pineapple, float, etc. When I finally got to the line and saw the choices in person, I finally decided on the float. I was so glad with my choice! I can't wait to go back and get another one! Pineapple is another love of mine! Oh, and DH had gone to get a different snack with the camera so I had already eaten quite a bit off of the top b/c it was melting. Normally, they're much higher at the top.
Disney195.jpg

Bread and butter. The bread wasn't warm but it was okay. I probably wouldn't eat it again as to save room for the rest.
Disney200.jpg

Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli - with sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, shiitake mushrooms, and basil $14. I really enjoyed this. The flavor was excellent. It also came with onions on top of the ravioli. I'm not sure if I'd order it again because of the price but I did enjoy it this time. I am a huge goat cheese fan and I like sun-dried tomatoes a lot also so that is why I chose it.
Disney201.jpg

I don't see this on any of the online menus but it is what DH ordered for his app. It was some sort of tempura crab I think. He absolutely loved it. It was definitely appetizer sized though.
Disney202.jpg

Grilled Pork Tenderloin - with goat cheese polenta, button mushrooms and zinfandel glaze $34. Again, I love goat cheese. I honestly think this whole dish was the best thing I've ever had in my life. Seriously. The pork was cooked perfectly and the polenta...WOW! I really could have made a meal just out of that. We're planning a trip in December and I'll be so tempted to get this again, even though I probably should try something different. It may not look that special but I just can't say enough about it - it was that good.
Disney205.jpg

Oak-fired Fillet Of Beef - with Tillamook Cheddar Gratin, broccolini, and teriyaki barbecue $44. This was DH's entree. He also couldn't stop talking about this. We've been to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse twice and he said this was hands-down the best steak he's ever had. As you might can see, it came with asparagus, although the online menus say broccolini.
Disney206.jpg

Bananas and Caramel - Crispy baked phyllo squares layered w/banana, caramel, mascarpone mousse, and caramelized banana $12. DH's dessert (I don't like bananas). He loved this. We're not really sure what the bottom layer was though. It was frozen and didn't have much of a taste. It definitely wasn't the mascarpone mousse. This was the only part of the dish he would have changed. I tasted it too and was a little perplexed. Didn't have a banana flavor either...:confused3
Disney208.jpg

Mascarpone and Meyer Lemon Cheesecake - Whipped cheesecake and meyer lemon panna cotta w/huckleberry jam $12. Sorry, I had taken a small bite already! This dessert was just okay. I really should have ordered the chocolate cake. I guess I was trying to branch out. The cheesecake was okay and the biscuit on the right side was good. Whatever was in the middle I didn't care for at all. The berries had a very sour flavor.
Disney209.jpg

Overall, the best meal of our trip! Expensive, but very very good. This will be one of only two table services we do in December. The view was also amazing! The service was a little pretentious but I guess you could expect that in a place like this. He was polite but not very friendly. But then again, I'm from the South...maybe my expectations are off?

Pancake, waffle, and french toast. The pancake was okay as was the waffle. I didn't much care for the french toast. I'm okay with raisins but this just had too many for me.
Disney234.jpg

Okay, I swear I only ate a few bites of most of this plate! There were so many choices! From 12 o'clock going clockwise: goat cheese and chive scrambled eggs (OMG good!), bacon (I liked it, DH didn't), banana bread (good), scone (okay, a little dry), sticky bun (very good), macadamia nut banana muffin I think (pretty good), and the middle is a bran muffin (I love bran muffins so I thought it was great)
Disney235.jpg

West African Frunch (a combination of lemonade, pineapple juice, guava juice, orange juice, and papaya juice). I thought this was great. Very sweet and fruity.
Disney236.jpg

I didn't take a picture of DH's plate as it was mostly the same. We also had an omelet made of eggs, cheese, and sausage. It was very very good! Would definitely go here again.

Pepperoni Pizza. Maybe I'm deprived of good pizza since I don't live in the north, but both DH and I actually liked this pizza a lot. The ratios of everything was just right to me. The crust was well seasoned too.
Disney291.jpg

Huge sugar cookie! It was soft and quite good.
Disney293.jpg

Butterfinger cupcake! This was another of those famous snacks talked about a lot on the boards that I thought I had to try. I like butterfinger candy bars quite a bit. While it was pretty good, there were some definite flaws for me. First, there was way too much white icing underneath the butterfinger crust. Secondly, the actual cupcake had a chocolate filling that I thought detracted from the overall experience. It made it too rich for me, and I don't think I've ever said a dessert was too rich before! :lmao: I know some people love these but I have to say, I was a little disappointed. Especially if you're eating it after a meal, it will probably be way too much for one person.
Disney292.jpg

My absolute favorite QS of the whole trip. You'll see more pictures coming from different days :goodvibes

This was the Hawaiian BBQ - ham, grilled chicken, Hawaiian BBQ sauce, Swiss cheese and pineapple. I tried it as is at first and the only thing I changed was that I took off the slices of pineapple. The flavor was great but I didn't like those chunks in my sandwich. Other than that - excellent!
Disney329.jpg

Best BLT - Applewood bacon, lettuce, Roma tomatoes and seasoned mayonnaise. DH said this was just a little too salty for him. Other than that it was very good. Sorry the pic is a little blurry.
Disney330.jpg

Bread pudding - very very good! I ate some so you could see the inside too.
Disney331.jpg

With the DDP, you get your choice of side OR dessert, not both. The prices are pretty reasonable so it may not be the best choice for a QS credit...but it was sooooo good.

I didn't realize we went here for dinner one day and then lunch the next until just now! :rotfl2: Obviously, I wasn't lying - we really did like this place!

DH's: Meatballs - marinara sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese
Disney345.jpg

Mine: The Original 1762 - fresh roasted beef, cheddar and creamy horseradish sauce. My favorite out of the three I had.
Disney346.jpg

Strawberry ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone - single scoop. This was huge, especially for only one scoop. DH liked it a lot. I don't know why it's sideways. I rotated it in photbucket...oh well.
Disney350.jpg

Coffee ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone - single scoop. The only thing about the cone was that the bottom was very thick. Too much to eat.
Disney349.jpg

Both DH and I ordered the Canyon Skillet - Smoked Pork Ribs, Pulled Pork, Oven-roasted Chicken, Beef Brisket, Mashed Potatoes, Cowboy Beans, and Corn on the Cob, Mixed Greens Salad with Apple Vinaigrette, Coleslaw, and Fresh-baked Cornbread

Here is the cornbread. I loved this! It was slightly sweet, which is different than my family makes it. It was also very moist. I ate way too much of it!
Disney361.jpg

This is the skillet. We opted to not get the salad. I liked everything except the corn on the cob; it was quite dry. The beans were okay. We both really liked everything else though. Since we both ordered this, they only brought out one and we could get refills on whatever we wanted.
Disney362.jpg

The Smores cheesecake. Again, something I had probably built up too much in my head. It was good but I thought the marshmallows would have more of a presence than just the few on top.
Disney363.jpg

Honey chicken. This was okay. My problem is this: I saw someone order plain chicken nuggets and they looked exactly like this without the sauce. Plus, you'll see better from DH's order below it looks as if for all of their chicken orders, they take plain chicken breaded chicken nuggets and simply cover them in the sauce particular to your order. Secondly, the packaging is in the chinese takeout style boxes. This makes getting rice and chicken in each bite a little difficult. And lastly (we should have thought of this sooner), on a hot day it wasn't very comfortable to order a very hot meal and then have to eat it sitting at tables in the heat. Probably won't go here again.
Disney435.jpg

Orange chicken
Disney436.jpg

Chocolate cake and drinks. If there was a saving grace, it would be that the drinks were HUGE!
Disney437.jpg

Sweet bread with macadamia nut butter. I read so much about how people adored this bread. I thought is was good, but I don't get the hype. It seemed like a very soft, slightly sweet roll with butter. Again, good...just not life altering or anything :confused3
Disney467.jpg

Tuna Oscar - served with fried green tomatoes, tempura-fried jumbo lump crab, and wasabi hollandaise $22.99. I ordered this mainly for the fried green tomatoes. Since I've not had much sushi, our server suggested I get the tuna medium and work my way down if I liked it. She also told me to make sure I told her if I didn't like it and she would get me something else. That wasn't ever an issue though because I loved this entire dish. Well, all except the asparagus. It was very tough and the flavor was too strong for me. Other than that, great!
Disney468.jpg

Shrimp and Scallops - panko breaded shrimp and pan-seared scallops with sticky rice, roasted pepper sauce and spicy passion fruit-orange-guava sauce $20.99. DH had never had scallops before so he opted for all shrimp. He really liked everything about this.
Disney469.jpg

Banana-Chocolate Creme Brulee - with a chocolate spiral $5.99. DH liked everything about this except the chocolate layer on the bottom. But that was only because it was dark chocolate and he doesn't really care for anything but white and milk chocolates. (Silly, I know!)
Disney470.jpg

Coconut Cream Kiki Tart - $5.49. I really really liked this. I took it back to the room and had it later out of the fridge. It was perfect! Didn't care for the lychees or whatever but I just scraped them off and it was fine.
Disney472.jpg

On our last morning, DH and I walked over to MK to see the rope drop show and rush over to the MSB. We had a few rides to do we didn't do on the first day, but first I needed my cinnamon roll! We were first in line at the bakery, which was PERFECT!

DH ordered an Egg, Ham, and Cheese Croissant $5.99. He said it was pretty tasty.
Disney477.jpg

I of course got the biggest cinnamon roll I've ever had and ate every bite! Yes, I was very full afterward but it was worth it!
Disney479.jpg

Around lunch time, I was still full from breakfast but DH wanted to try the pulled pork sandwich from Pecos Bill's. He really really liked this.
Disney511.jpg

Next, we headed to DTD and yes, I once again went to EOS. Here is the Italian - salami, capicola, roasted ham, mortadella, mozzarella cheese, roma tomato and Zesty Italian dressing. Very good. EOS never failed me!
Disney526.jpg

Cheddar cheese soup. Although this was a little salty, I really liked it. With the pretzel bread, delicious!
Disney534.jpg

I ordered the mushroom filet and risotto. Second to the dish I had at California Grill, this was my second favorite of the trip. The filet was perfect and the risotto, I could have made a meal out of alone. Excellent!
Disney536.jpg

DH ordered the coffee rubbed Kansas City strip steak with cream cheese mashed potatoes. He really enjoyed his as well.
Disney535.jpg

For dessert, we both got the maple creme brulee. DH liked it but I had never had creme brulee. I don't think it was Le Cellier's version, I just don't think I like this dessert at all.
Disney537.jpg

After dinner, we walked World showcase while Illuminations played. We stopped in France's bakery and I ordered a Napoleon and DH ordered an eclair. Both were great!

WPE is one of our favorite places in the world. We visited three times this trip. Not only is it the best counter service but it's better than a lot of table services! We're obsessed ;)
