the bread and the best macadamia nut butter that you get at Kona - is that the same bread and butter they serve at the lula? and does every table get it or do you have to order it?

if it is the same bread at the lula it's to die for and i can't wait to go just for that.

i looked at the Kona menu at all ears but can't see it.
Every table gets it, but only at dinner. I don't know if it's the same as the bread at the Lula, since I've never gone to that, but it's awfully good.

All the food looks so good, Disney food is just out of this world. I have a few pictures to share, not of Disney food (hope that's okay, just thought people might want to see them), but food from The Ritz Carlton on Miami South Beach that I had on my way home from Disney last year.

Great pix! But if we get looked at funny at WDW for taking pix of our food, I can only imagine the reaction you got at the Ritz! :rotfl:

Potstickers from China

Lemon Vodka Slushi from Italy :cloud9:

My new itinerary: get off plane, get on ME. Get on bus for Epcot. Go to Italy and get two of these. (one for each hand)

Would it be wrong to have a 10 yr old hold the 3rd??:rotfl:

I think what you should do is get a Grey Goose slush for one hand, and a Grand Marnier one for the other. ;)

Ugh I got a really nasty look and comments from when I took pics at Le Cellier. (and we know how close those tables are) They made snide remarks and really pissed off the bf, even though he got annoyed with me for doing it--his only requirement: We had more pics of us then of the food. (Although, who are they to talk, they were sitting at the table playing handheld games (mind you, the kids were atleast older teenagers) and then asked their server if all Canadians say 'Ay'..,now not a big offense, but that's like asking me if all Jews eat bagels [which we do, but that's besides the point] it just seemed kind of offensive and ignorant...but they probably were.) It's ok, we had a fun time making fun of them with our Waitress from Norway, who talked to us about how many tourists think the Norwegians live like it's the 1980s, since that's when that film after Maelstrom was made. Anyway, that was a nice long side story.

BTW Lurkyloo, your TR is so much fun to read, and now I want to get married in Morocco! (although DBF is hellbent on Japan or China)

And now here are the pics I was made fun for taking (but totally worth it)

Tomato Stack (I'm a girl who needs her veggies at every meal)

Strip Steak (from non-adventurous DBF)

The Infamous Mushroom Risotto Filet

The Adorable Chocolate "Moose"

And The Delicious S'Mores

Here are some pics from Kona Cafe....

I would have told them only the Fonz says "ay". Then I would've taken their picture!!:rotfl:

dh just told me that the bread we got at the Lula was some kind of pineapple bread which was delicious - wonder if you get it anywhere else.

You always get funny looks when you take pics. I've only had one group of people ask me about it. We were at Boma (it was 2 older couples, never been to a buffet before) and they asked why I was taking pics of the food (and I didn't use my flash either). I told them I was part of this massive subculture that is obsessed with food at WDW.

I hate it when people make nasty comments and I can be a defensive person. If some snotty person made a comment to me about taking pics, I don't care of what... I probably would have said something like "I smoke crack, freebase meth and shoot up heroin also..." Get even more dirty looks but they leave you alone after that!:rotfl: (I know I am strange in my own ways.)

Does it have onions in it? I really want to try this but can't eat onions and I have a feeling there are onions in there.
Yep, it's onions, celery, bacon, cream, butter, cheese, beer, and chicken stock. I think that's it.

I think i may have had to taken a picture of them just to piss them off even more LOL

This looks soooooo good - did you get some kind of bread to put it on or did you just eat it was is?

A girl after my own heart! I would have told them I just got out of jail and the food didn't look this good in maximum security! :scared1:
