Sunday. Breakfast queue wasn't as bad today. Spotted a lady in there we'd seen yesterday morning, taking out huge amounts of food, and I mean HUGE - two full CLEAR carry bags full . Yesterday she stuffed one down her jacket and the second one under her arm, today she tried to put both down her jacket and tried to get out via the emergency exit, she got stopped but they didn't do anything about her huge buldging jacket. This so annoys me. :sad2:

Anyway after my food police report, :rotfl2: we set off for Disneyland park for the day. Was raining / drizzling so were all wrapped up and ready for the weather.

Today was the 'girls' special treat day as we were booked for lunch at the Auberge, so great excitement. Decided to spend the time in Fantasyland and do all the rides, got on the Carousel and had to get off again as it broke down:rotfl2:. Peter Pan ride scares me still :rotfl2:(don't like heights and the last time we went on it that broke down with talks of getting the ladders out to get us down, thankfully that never happened this time). Time soon came round for the boys and girls to part - the boys went off to do their 'stuff', - they did POTC, Thunder Mountain etc as well as managing to meet plenty of characters, including a new one for us 'J. Ratcliffe' - think he's from Pocohontas?, and for the first time for us also Wendy:

Hollie and I arrived at the Auberge in time for our 12:15 booking and there were only a few of us in for the whole of lunchtime. We were greeted by Cinderella and Hollie had her picture taken:

(I'm sure all princesses wear pink snowboots under their dress lol).

I asked for a table by the dancefloor as I've seen on here to ask, I was told as there was only two of us that wasn't possible so we were put in the room next door, but were still able to see the dancefloor so wasn't too bad. Princess Aurora and her Prince were announced and out they came to dance, was lovely. I held my breath whilst the other princesses came out - Hollie is Snow White mad and really wanted her to be there and ta dah, so she was :yay: as was, Belle and of course Suzy and Perla:

The interaction with the Princesses was good. The food was nice, but not really our thing, cocktails great, desserts were our favourite though, very nice:

Just before we were about to leave they brought out Cinderellas slipper wasn't expecting this so a nice surprise:

We really loved our experience but in all the excitement I realised afterwards two things: one I didn't get any wine:upsidedow, and two I forget to get a discount with my card:sad2:. The photo package we got was beautiful I didn't realise you got a set of smaller ones too, well worth it.

Met up back with the boys and set off to Mickeys Winter Wonderland show. We all really enjoyed it were impressed with the ice skating too.:

From here we then decided to take a trip on the train, and went the whole way round the park. Next stop we got off was Discoveryland and back to go on Buzz, which we managed this time, Steve won (again:worship: lol), just love that ride. Then onto Orbitron and round the rest of Discoveryland.

By this time it was dark and cold and we'd done all we wanted to do so set back off to the hotel, determind to have a Glowtini - so I did :rotfl2:, children both had a cocktail too and bar snacks of baguettes which were really nice:

:rotfl2: - I know - we're no :littleangel: and have been known to take the odd item or two but yes you're right she did take the MICKEY :rotfl2::rotfl2:

haha... the image of her trying to break out through emergency exit, is so funny though.... you can see it in the headlines.. haha:rotfl:
how much were the cocktails?

Yes they actually did run after her, don't think she would've been able to run fast with that extra baggage anyway:rotfl2:

Steve got them but think the childrens were 6.60 Euros each with the cup and mine was around 8.50, not something we would normally do but it was my birthday the day after so a treat. And you get to keep the glowing ice cube:rotfl2:

owwww.glowing ice cube!!! hehe, sounds good!! well its a holiday after all.. and whats a holiday without a glowing ice cube! xx:wizard:

Enjoying the report sounds like you had a great time.

I bet if that women had just gone out the normal door the staff wouldn't have bothered with her but because she tried the emergency exit clearly knew she was doing something wrong then!

That is one of my bothers about Disney as they don't really like to make too many waves, even when clearly people are just taking the mick.

Maybe I should try it and stock up for the week ahead, I think I would quite like pastries for breakfast each morning on my return instead of Weetibix

:rotfl2:Good idea, have to say it would be very nice every morning to come down to a selection of ready made goodies, and if somebody clears up after you as well is even more appealing.:rotfl2:

aww loving your report...

what a greedy lady trying to take all that eh?:scared1:...

OMG - how much food can one person smuggle out!!

I admit that I have to ask for gluten free food in the morning at b'fast time and they usually bring a basket of goodies out for me and what I don't eat I ususally put in my bag for later but we are talking about a pkt of biscuits and maybe a little cake!!

My mate will occasionally wrap up a chocolate pastry to eat later as she isn't a morning person and doesn't eat much for b'fast but I can't believe the cheek of that person! I think 2 carrier bags are a bit excessive!
