This is kinda random...Does anyone have an idea of how much the Rainforest room will cost for the entire cruise on this specific sailing? Those heated lounge chairs are calling my name lol!

It's been typically around 30 days out for us, also.

BUT, there are reports on the main board that it seems that DCL is sending them out later. Many people not receiving them until 2-3 weeks out.

I was just able to change my Martinique port excursion to the Botanical Gardens and Zoo. That sounds so much better than the Volcano Museum and Rum Distillery. Trying to get another excursion, but I'm having problems booking that one for two people. I can get it for one person though.

Apparently they only have one space still available.

We ran into that once we decided to book parasailing at Castaway Cay. They had 2 available times, but I could only book one of us at each time. So we opted not to do it.

I actually changed it to the zoo while I was calling to see if that was the reason why. I was trying to book the Naturally Martinique. The person i talked to on the phone said I could book it for one person, and ask the port adventures desk on the boat to see if they can try and accommodate my 2nd guest. I think I will just keep it now. This excursion seems a lot better than the one I had previously booked (which is now sold out lol).

we are very excited to participate in the FE ~ this would be our 10th cruise but first time trying FE. My kids are Luke

I'll be posting the group once confirmed. Hopefully by the end of the month. I think we've only had nine families say they were interested, but again, there hasn't been much chatter here so I don't know if those who originally said they wanted to participate still want to do so or if they've joined a FE else where.

Stasia is no longer on this cruise. She posted the list as she had it at the time she left. There's been no one here who's stepped up and said they would maintain the list. But, it's possible that the people already on the list, are just going ahead and keeping their own lists - I don't know.

So, this is my first cruise longer than 7 days. How does everyone pack for a longer cruise? Do you pack enough shorts/pants/shirts to last all 11 nights, or do you take advantage of the laundry services onboard the cruise ship? I'm conflicted on what to do.

We pack the same for an 11 night trip as we do for a 7 night trip. Typically (for me), enough underwear for 7 days, and 3/4 tshirts, 2 nice blouses, 2 pants/capris (don't do shorts). Plus the basic swimsuit, nightwear, couple of light sweaters/wraps and formalwear. And, of course, can't forget the pirate gear.

For a long trip (over 14 days) I'll add another blouse, and pair of pants. That's not counting what I'm actually wearing for the travel day. And I pack a blouse/shirt and a set of underwear in my carry on bags.

We always use the self serve laundry at least once. Sometimes twice.

Do you know which decks have self serve laundry? Does it cost anything, or are these controlled by our KTTW Cards as well? Is it best to bring our own laundry detergent?

Do you know if the "room service" option is expensive. I don't know what to call it. The thing where they take your laundry and bring it back to your room for you.
