Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean December 14 2013

I hear ya on MNSSHP! We went in 2011 (first time) it was not what I expected. Turned out to be cast member night! we met some cool people , but waited in line for the 7 dwarfs for 3 hrs! It was one of those things where you didn't know how long it would take....just a little longer we must be close.... Needless to say we didn't get to do much else, the parade and fireworks were really cool though! If we do the Christmas party we will skip the characters and just enjoy the park.

Exactly! Glad you got the dwarfs because I couldnt stand the wait for them. I was able to take a few pictures of them but my kids were no where close. Oh well... guess that always gives me a reason to go back :rotfl2:

When do the tickets for MVMCP go on sale? This sounds like so much fun!!

The party is awesome! They have a really neat parade with a catchy toon. (which I still find myself singing) My kids liked trick-r-treating around the park. They rode Space Mountain 6 times in a row. I had to bail after the 3rd time - I just can't hang anymore :lmao: We did it in 2011 and if I remember correctly the tickets went on sale in the spring - April/May.

Trick or treating at Christmas? Do the tickets sell out quick? I don't want to miss out!!

Sorry I misread the post - thought you were asking about the MNSSHP - wrong holiday! :surfweb:

I have been to MNSSHP and I thought it was great! :) I cant wait to go to MVMCP. I did wait in line for the Dwarfs but I am not sure how long we waited. I am going to be waiting in line again just to get their pic in the Christmas attire. :santa: Atleast I think they are dressed in Christmas scarves.

I will be on this trip with my Boyfriend--This will be my first time on a Disney Cruise, and my Boyfriends First cruise EVER! :jumping1:

We will be joining my Best Friend and her Family

Looking forward to it!

I waited with Robin while our DH's took the younger girls and rode rides and our older girls went off riding and then once the line started we called them over. I don't know if it was the people watching or just that our trips are the time we get to spend together since we live in different states, so it didn't seem long. I am waiting again with Robin and hopefully Norma!!!:santa:

Welcome! I hope (and feel quite confident) that you two will have the time of your lives!! Disney is for the kid in all of us as well as the ultimate in service !! They set the bar for our family four cruises ago, we would never consider sailing with another line. Have fun planning !!

I haven't seen it yet but my dad has been talking about wanting to see it for months. Glad to hear you enjoyed it and maybe now I will go with him to see it.

My husband and I really enjoyed it ( although the ending was predictable....) I really enjoyed the cinematography, especially the last scene when the President was leaving the white house, walking down the stairs.
reminds me of the Hall of presidents in WDW, love the Lincoln speech there :)

It was a good film. Can't believe that they had to get a London born actor to play the part of one of the greatest Americans though :confused3

We're all going to see Les Miserables this Saturday; I've seen it 7 times in London and once on a UK tour so I'm a little "nervous" about Russell Crowe's singing but I'm sure it will be fine.

Has anyone stayed at the animal kingdom villas? We are only staying the night before the cruise. I'm wondering if I should get a standard view or a savannah view. Thoughts?

I have stayed at the Annimal Kingdom Villas and the Savannah views are definitely worth reserving. We had a parial Savannah view and enjoyed waking up to a nice view of the Giraffs and Zebras gallopping by.

Hello All! We will be on this cruise and can't wait until December. We've been on the Magic and had an awesome time and we're sure this ship will only increase our excitement five fold. Can't wait to ride the Aquaduck and play the Muppets Mystery Game. We would love to participate in the Fish Exchange for me, DW, DS (7), and DS (9).

Can't wait to see everyone onboard!

We stayed at AKV last February and had a standard view and it was great. On our way to and from our room each day we would always stop off at the viewing area. We use our DVC points and the difference between view and non-view were quite high.

I would save your money for spending on the cruise and stay in a standard room and use the viewing areas. Remember, You are not guaranteed to see any animals.

It's our intention to get off the cruise and stay in a 1BR at AKV over Christmas.

savannah view - absolutely!!!

Stayed there for 3 nights prior to our Disney Magic cruise last year and it was amazing - worth every cent!!!! The AKL also has a ton of activites for kids that time of year - we could have just stayed on the resort itself it was that fantastic!!
