I joined this board last summer but I have had some health issues and family losses this fall which has kept me away, but I am back now and my husband and I will be booking our cruise with you all on Monday!
I hope everyone is doing well, I look forward to reconnecting with everyone here, such a friendly group you all are

The Pink Party Planner, that I am ! I have already started gathering ideas for pink door prizes and Fish Extender trinkets !!
I am so super excited about this cruise, our family really needs a fun filled getaway after such a difficult year. I am traveling with my husband and two nephews we have custody of for the past year and a half. (they are 15 and 13 right now) My mom, my sister, my son, daughter and future son in law are booking as well. This will be my fifth cruise, and first time on the Fantasy. I really look forward to meeting everyone and making all kinds of plans. 362 days to go, let the dieting begin

Hi friends! We just got home from a 3-nt. Disney Dream cruise and booked another for December 14, 2013! Yay!! The ship was beautifully decorated for Christmas and I'm so exciter to be onboard for a longer time. Three days flew by! I'd like to participate in an FE group if there usa one available. Looking forward to getting to know you all!!

I have been to St Marteen. The excursion we did there was the Rhino Riders. Its kinda like a wave runner. They take you out into the water and you ride around for awhile then snorkle. They also let us go to a beach to eat lunch. The lunch was not included in the excursion. We had a blast. Plan on doing it again.

Bah humbug. DH is doing everything he can to get out of going to WDW for a couple of days before the cruise. He pretty much told his sister we will be flying in to see her in NC for a few days before the cruise without even discussing it with me, even though he knows I've been planning WDW. We even have extra DVC points we weren't expecting from a 2 night credit from our stay at Aulani.

I do not get this man. He loves DLR. He loves DCL. He loves Aulani. He proudly wears his Mickey PJ's. I know he doesn't like the flight to Orlando, but we will already be there for the cruise! Why doesn't he like WDW even a little bit? We've only been once, and that was over 4 years ago.

I'm not sure whether I should let him have his way, or if I should put my foot down and say this is what I want, so TOUGH... you have to spend a few miserable days with me in the second-most happiest place on Earth.


Sorry, just venting. I will figure out how we can both get what we want, with a little compromise.

I'm sorry! I hope you can figure it out. It will be my fiance's first time going to WDW before this cruise and I have a feeling if he doesn't fall in love with it during our limited time there that I will have a LOT of trouble getting there anytime soon thereafter! He's already groaning about spending $$ on Disney in 2015 (I promised him our first year married we could pay down debt (student loans, car, etc) and not go on vacations lol!)

For him it is definitely a money-worry thing! Maybe your husband has the same reservations about it!

Just rebooked my cruise from the Med 06/27/13. It was just to expensive. I could do 3 cruises on the Fantasy compared to 1 Med cruise.
Just came back from the Fantasy 12/15/12 and did it solo. What a great trip
Probably will do a solo on this trip too.

I'm due April 4th, so probably 8-9 months. Now we're back to probably not bringing him with us. (Considering I can't add him anyway, probably works out a little better.)

I am compromising with the hubby. Our goal this year is to eat out less and prepare food at home. This will save us a lot, and can probably pay for this whole cruise and a few days at WDW if we're diligent. With a baby, and me staying at home, it'd be more inconvenient to leave the house to get food than to just make it home, right? I hope so!

Aw thank you Nice to "see" ya again! I fell off the dis wagon for awhile. Life got in the way a bit, ya know what I mean? No dress yet! We'll see if my short self can pull off a full skirt ballgown like Cinderella, LOL! Plans are moving full steam ahead though , got flowers ordered and all of our locations are decided at least! And it's GOOD to be back!
