Yeah when Syd was diagnosed as a toddler, they recommended that all of us get them as well as not to bring anything home to her. Seems so standard to me now. We got ours mid sept as soon as they came out. Girls don't care for them but know it's standard now.

On a side note. It is only about 4 weeks away from Thanksgiving. Which means BLACK FRIDAY!!!! WHat is everyones kids asking for??? Syd is asking for a laptop and paint for her wall to make it a dry erase board. The dry erase board she is getting...laptop not so much. Because school gives them each a Apple MAc Air for the school year so I don't need to go buy one. Nelia is asking for ANOTHER American Girl. We have 9 AG dolls in this house. I guess if that is the big gift she wants I am good with it. I just hope my girls have girls cause they will have a boat load of dolls for them to have. Other then those things, they are getting the cruise and maybe a dolphin swim!!

So anything else new with you guys?? Me just planning our wardrobe for our Feb cruise. I gotta take advantage of the summer clearance left..

I think so too ....just need to get them chatting. I know it's over a year away so the excitement is hard to have but from past cruises I have found the more we chat and get to know each other . The faster the time gos!!

I almost convinced my DH last night to switch this cruise to one this December to take advantage of the DVC discount. (The other nice thing is that one of the Eastern ports was replaced with San Juan, Puerto Rico, and I would much rather go there!) So close... but since we're going to Aulani next week, we decided we can't take two week-long vacations a month apart from each other. (I'm still not sure why not, but I digress.) Kinda bummed, but there is something to be said for the long-awaited anticipation of this cruise!

Still going back on forth on whether the baby will be coming or not. I'm getting pros and cons all over the place and can't seem to weigh them very well. At least I have plenty of time to decide! (I hope... I've heard sometimes you can't add people to your cabin because of life boat numbers and such.)

Did you add the baby already??? I would make sure that anyone I thought might go be added cause the price just keeps going up. Also the lifeboat thing as well.

Yeah, I'd say it would be easier to take the baby off then to add the baby later. Unless you can't add a baby that hasn't been born yet...I guess that could be an issue.

I know one thing about this cruise that is so exciting is not just a Disney Cruise but a really neat group of Disney fan enthusiasts. When the question that always comes up if you could go to dinner with anyone past or present my answer is always - Walt Disney "I would just thank him for his Dreams that has brought so much happiness and fun for me and so many others" Every Disney vacation always has a Magical moment that gives those vacation memories that you will never forget.

We are suppose to get hit on Halloween also. I hope it is not as bad as they say it is going to be. I know NYC is preparing for devastation! I live about 4 1/2 hours from there. I think we will just get alot of rain and not so much wind...(I hope)!!!

You know it is always exciting to know you have a DCL scheduled soon. But you want to know how exciting it is to know you are going with the biggest Disney Fans that are in this group - Beyond any words can say
The cruise we have coming up is one of DCL's last sailings out of Los Angeles before they reposition the Disney Wonder so it is kind of Sad at the same time " The FE is all Newbies and the coordinator has never done a FE group ever or even a DCL cruise. There should be rules on this - We even have families with more people in the fe then a cabin can hold??? Have you ever seen a inside cabin 214 sf hold 2 adults and 6 kids. Somthing is wrong with this......

Yes ma'am at Disney World now. In fact we just got out of Hoop De Doo Revue and are waiting on a horse drawn wagon ride right now. Our sailing was pretty good but the first night was a bit rough due to the storm and one of my children didn't feel quite so hot. We almost couldn't dock at Castaway even though we flopped our day at sea to give them time to clean up and for the seas to calm but after several attempts Captain Henry was able to pull it off.

Hello all!

We booked the Dec 14, 2013 cruise on the Fantasy while we were onboard the Wonder's two week cruise to Hawaii last month. That cruise was, of course, fantastic.

This will be our 7th Disney cruise and our third to the eastern Caribbean. We love that itinerary, especially the opportunity to hop over to St. John and its wonderful beaches.

This will be our first time on the Fantasy. I love the older ships and have some reservations about the number of passengers on the Fantasy, but I'm confident that the same Disney atmosphere will make it alright. Another first for us on this cruise - we have booked a verandah cabin.

We are Larry, Janee (DW), and Marcus (DS, 22). We are already looking forward to this cruise and to participating in many of the activities arranged online.
