Disney Fantasy, August 18, 2012 - Western Caribbean

We are going to IOA on Sunday. We own a time share and did an exchange for a Marriott Condo a week before the cruise. We are planning Sunday at IOA, Mon rest and do nothing but maybe eat out, Tue - Discovery Cove, Wed IOA/US, Thurs Sea World, Friday rest and get ready for the Cruise and Sat - heading to Cape Canaveral early to get on the Cruise!

Now that the dining rotations are confirmed, is anyone thinking of requesting a specific rotation? Yeah, I'm an uber planner. :bitelip: :lmao:

I'm going to request rotation ERAERRA. We'll be in Royal Court for both the Formal and Semi-Formal nights (both sea days) and for Pirate night (Cozumel day); we'll be in Enchanted Garden on our first night and on Costa Maya night; and we'll be in Animator's Palate on Grand Caymen night (see the turtles on the island and then see Crush at dinner :thumbsup2) and then again on our last night making our last dinner on the ship that much more special with the new animation show.

Only 14 weeks until I land in Orlando pre-cruise!!!! :hyper:

We are at Universal before the cruise also but we are there on the 13/14 August. We've booked a night at the Royal Pacific but its really just for the FOTL pass and to have somewhere to go back to in the afternoon for a break.

We requested a dining rotation last time we cruised and it was granted. This time I think the only one I don't really want is RAERAAE but only because I dont want to be in Animators Palate for formal or semi formal.

Have the Gold Castaway members been able to book their excursions yet? Must be close. I'd love to know whats left as far as Palo and Cabana's go. Still 2 weeks to go for us until we can book anything.

Less than 100 days to go!:cool1:

I am working on the official FE list, and this is what I have right now:
Confirmed participants:
DVC_Chris
PrincessBelle39
Antmeal
Casana
PA Princess (Need stateroom number)
ItsWDW4Me (Need stateroom number)
Stacey6274

Unconfirmed participants:
Dayita
CruiseBound
Cherokee2504

PixiePirate

Is there anyone that I am missing? If you are an unconfirmed participant, or you are not on the list and want to join in the fun, please let me know.

Anyone have any experience or advice for a shore excursion with a one year old?

For Grand Cayman, I think we are just going to take a Taxi to 7 Mile Beach and rent some stuff, but not sure what the rest is going to be.

I would like to go to Palo one night. Which would be the best night to pick. Thanks for the heads up about the Semi and Formal nights. The Royal Court is the best place to eat those nights? I agree not to do the Animator's Palate on those nights. I may just copy your plan.

We are still wanting to participate in the FE. How do I find out what my Stateroom number is?

Chris,

I have previously posted that I am doing the fish extenders for my family and I know for sure and will confirm that Corkie is (as this is my mother in law) and that PeytonBrady is also, (don't see that you wrote their name down), but she has posted as well that peytonbrady is (as this is my sister in law) with her two kids.

So please put us on the list. My stateroom no. is 7068

Thanks,

Lisa

You can log on to DCL's Planning Center - you will need your DCL confirmation number and you can do this even if you booked with a travel agent :thumbsup2 Your stateroom number is listed on your "My Reservations" tab. Listed is your cruise type, ship, sail date, and stateroom info. ::yes::

Hi Chris:

I want to confirm my family would like to be a part of the FE. :cool1: I will get you the stateroom number within the next week.

Let me know if there is anything else you need.

Thanks for organizing. ::yes::

Mary,

Can you just send me your room number, and I will add it to the list.

Thanks.

I am looking at excursions. I am not sure if I really want to do one at every port. What are the beaches like at Cozumel and Cayman near the ship or is it worth taking a beach excursion?

OK everyone, here is the FE list as it stands right now:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8106238/FE_List.xls

Please take a moment to review it, make sure I have names, and cabin numbers correct. If there is information that you would like added, please feel free to contact me to do so.

3 months from today!pirate:

HI!
I found a link for excursions to Mayan ruins of chachobben

It is cheaper than the boat excursion.

here disser speaks of this company.

Cruisebond, gran cayman has two beautiful beaches, rum point and seven mile beachs, but the problem is they aren not near of port.if you going for free, you should take a taxi. rum point is most far

Thanks for sharing the links Olympia! Makes me even more excited about the Chaccoben tour! Still can't decide what to do in Grand Cayman and Cozumel.... too many fun thing to choose from.

So exciting. Only 3 1/2 hours until silver cruisers can start booking excursions, etc. I've got my list ready and the order that I'm going to book in.

Ok, I'm happy and I'm disappointed. Got most of what I wanted to book. Missed out on a cabana at Castaway Cay. Also missed the Pirates League as could only get 5:30pm which clashes with dinner. The other thing I couldn't get was the couples massage. Only time available on either at sea day was 8am or 8 and 9pm. I will keep an eye on them though and maybe something will come up.
On the happy side, got Palo brunch and dinner as well as all the excursions we wanted.
