Disney Fantasy - 7 night - Western Caribbean - April 30, 2016

Hello!!

I will have them as my carry on. What time can we get into our rooms you think? I have a early check in time..I think like 10ish so I will have time but I need an area to get some of them put together. I will wait till about dinner or right after dinner to deliver I think. ( we also have the 1st sitting on dinner ) This way it gets everyone time to get on and get their FEs hung up incase some have them in their luggage (which we won't get till later). Figured this way I won't have to back track. So yes, lol 1st day "on board" I would love to deliver our FEs. :thanks:

You can check in at the port starting at 10, but boarding won't begin until 11:30 - noon, and then everyone will board by the boarding group number they receive at check in. Once on board, the staterooms won't be available until 1:30pm.

Yes, booked aboard and on land but what is "BBB" ??
BBB - Bibbity Bobbity Boutique!

I hope this information helps!

Oh right, BBB! lol ~ well that would be fun, but my 12 yr old would probably not enjoy it as much as she did when she was as young as the picture taken in my profile. :worried:

Yes, and "Thank you" for the info. It has been since 09' since we cruised last with Disney. I do not remember all the details. That helped!

i just booked the pirate package for my 8 yr old for pirate night :)

Totally forgot about that for the boys- I automatically think of the little girls when I think of BBB. I'm sure he will love it! I tried to get my boy to do it but he is going to bring his Hook costume for that night at least.

Well... were just about 70 days out. YAY :yay: !!!!

So if any of your kids are going to the kids club, my kids are excited to meet up with some kids to hang out with! Katelyn is 11 and Caleb is 8. I know my son will want to make sure he is in the same "club" as his sister. Even tho I think my daughter would choose to loose her "shadow" at times. :P.

So excited to be joining you all. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise, but first on Fantasy!

FE info
We have two cabins, both rooms have yet to be determined. Disney will assign them a few weeks before.

In one we have Curt my husband and our two sons Emmett 7 and Gavin 5. Both boys love Star Wars.
Second room is Jennifer (myself), and Mady 10. Mady loves Sleeping Beauty and The little mermaid.
I have a walnut and pecan allergy. But ever other nut if fine.

Also if anyone is looking for a fun shore excursion in Grand Cayman, we really enjoy seeing the sting rays. It is a great location in the ocean, and we can't wait to take the kids to it also.

We will be right down the hall from you guys! My daughter(Dylan) is going to be 12 next month, my son(Deven) is 7. They would both love to hang out with some kids thier age! I'm sure the girls could lose their tails while the boys distracted each other. My daughter and I are planning to do the fun run on Castaway Cay while the boy plays at Scuttles. We would love some running buddies (jogging really, maybe even brisk walking).

Perfect. Yes, of course! I wanted to do the 5K but I didn't see a sign up for it under Castaway Cay?? I will look again. Yes, for sure! My daughter plays soccer so she is all about some running. Might be loosing me as I'm just getting back into running again. I use to be a distant runner (meaning SLOW but long, lol) & I always love doing races (never won of course) We will for sure have to plan on it! Looking forward to this cruise getaway!!

You sign up for the run at the guest services desk onboard. I hope the next two months fly by!

So I just read up on it~ the run if free. Which is nice. Well... not sure if I should use the term "free" lol. I am quite sure thats covered someplace in the price of the cruise. ;)
However, the shirts are $22.- **which we will be purchasing them, no doubt** I think the whole family will be doing this.
Yes! We are counting each day!!

My 5 year old just asked to put character as Donald Duck or anything stars. He was indecisive on his favorite character because he loves so many. Too funny. Thanks!!

  • Who is traveling? Myself my husband and our two little babes
  • Where are you traveling from? We live in Tampa Florida
  • What cabin category are booked into? We've booked an ocean view guarantee so we'll see where we end up :)
  • What are you most excited about? Not having to cook dinner or do any housework for a whole week!
  • Are you doing anything in Florida before or after the cruise? Our family lives in Orlando and my dad works at Disney so we might stay with them the night before to be closer to the port or get a hotel room. (Free parking and breakfast woot woot!)

So It just hit me.. we are very far forward on the ship on deck 8. We sailed only once before on the Magic for a week but we were midship. For you whom have sailed on Disney ships FWD, can you please tell me if I should be concerned with the motion sickness with the kids? They don't get motion sick easy (and myself, being a US Navy vet of 9 years- motion doesn't bother me) but I was not sure on the motion of the Disney ship that far FWD. I don't even know if I could change my room as of now, if I wanted to.
Suppose I should grab some motion wrist bands as a precaution.
