Hey!!!!! Long time no " livin on a Fantasy" talk!!! We are also on this cruise! Nice to see a familiar name! Hello all!!! We just sailed with Sandy on the Fantasy and we look forward to sailing on it again! It is me DH DS Justin and DS Joshua!! Can't wait!!!

Hello all. We are one week removed from the Magic and have decided to do this one for our second. We are DS, 15, and me, Brad. On the Magic we were 12 people total this time it looks like 8 so far, ranging from grandparents to age 8.

I am not the runner but for the Wine and Dine runners here. My son was 14 the day of the race in 2011, officially the youngest runner in the race. I handled the wine part for him since he could not.

We (Myself, DH, DS12 and DD17) just got off the Dream Thursday with a few days at the parks. We rebooked onboard for just myself and DH (David) for this September sailing on the Fantasy. Already missing it! Looking forward to reading through all the posts and getting to know everyone a bit before the cruise.

Looks like a very active group. We're definately not runners and have no plans for attempting a 5K, but kudos to those of you who are fit enough to do so. What a great way to explore the island. David (DH), recently had a hip replacement so I just don't see it in our future...

We do enjoy exploring the ship while delivering FE gifts though. We typically start at the top floor and walk our way down. Add us to the FE festivities too please. I've requested to join the FB page, but have not been able to access it yet, so as soon as I can I'll try my best to find that google doc you all keep talking about.

12 days 'til Christmas and then our official countdown to the cruise will begin!

Judy and I were just discussing that last night. I really want to head over to St. John, but it is an early port schedule, so we'll have to see if we do it on our own or on an excursion. In St. Louis Maarten, well probably go back to Orient Beach or one of the other beaches.

We definitely want to head over to St. John. Being that this is only our 2nd cruise, we aren't particularly comfortable doing things on our own so have been looking at the excursions through DCL.

We have never been to St. Maarten and are thinking about a Bernard’s Tour.

We're thinking about a Bernard's Tour too in St. Maarten. Since St. Thomas/John is a short day, we're looking into staying on St. Thomas. This is our first time to either port so St. Thomas is just fine for us. We may do Godfrey's tour of St. Thomas, but not for sure yet. I guess we're just trying to see what other options are out there for us. Neither of us are very keen on any of the DCL excursions at this point.

Are you looking at the W&D half?? We'll be there for that! Have done it the past 2 years and love it.
Are you going back for marathon weekend this year? I'm addicted to it - did the marathon in 2007 and have gone back for Goofy every year since.

Oh - and for another anniversary to celebrate!! Definitely seems like we have a lot to celebrate on this cruise. One of my friends is celebrating his birthday and his retirement from the Air Force after 20 years.

Hmmmm - I think on the FB page I have for this cruise I need to start a list of celebrations.

LOL! I got sidetracked and haven't checked this thread in MONTHS!
I haven't run anything Disney since January. Almost ran the W&D this year, but my friend (who was going to do it with me) injured her hip! Hoping to jump into it next year, though.
Nope, not a marathoner- I'm only half crazy!! hehe. Actually would love to run a full, but at this stage in my life, I just don't have the time to train- we homeschool, own a business, and have 3 kids who are all involved in soemthing completely different (would be nice if they played the same sport! LOL) Someday. . . .someday!

Come join the FB group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/424481097566602/). I'm trying to put together the lists on there. There are docs already started with those interested in the FEs. There are also lists for room numbers, dinner seatings, celebrations, etc.

If you want to take on the T-shirt thing, that'd be great. For the MV, someone did lanyards, rather than t-shirts... and those went over really well. (We personally aren't big t-shirt people because with as much running as we do, we have a more than ample collection of shirts... a recent count before we sent things to Goodwill was well over 600.)

LOL! I thought about making a quilt out of my running/race tees. I could cover my king-sized bed easily! ;o)
I'm still weeding through the pages of posts, so this may have already bee talked about, but we'd be down for lanyards over tees, too.

I will be booking this sailing very soon, I'm so excited! We usually travel to WDW every September, but my oldest daughter just got married this past Saturday

This will be our first Disney Cruise (if you don't count the Premiere Cruise DH and I took for our honeymoon). We will be celebrating our daughters 1st anniversary (9/22), our 24th anniversary (9/23) and DH birthday (9/27), as well!

Wow! The 23rd was a popular date!! That's our anniversary, too!!
