. . . He's talking with the person he'd be working for today i believe . . . corporate position . . . I've only heard good things about being employed by them . . . also offer a relocation package . . .
1) First, the "park perks" are OK, but not great
. . . employees get into parks almost any time
. . . can bring in up to 3-guests a specific number of times
. . . a 20% discount on meals, up to 35% on purchases
. . . annual specials on food and purchases
2) The benefits are
. . . excellent and reasonably priced HMO hospitalization
. . . very expensive and only average non-HMO hospitalization
. . . normal dental plan
. . . normal life & disability programs
. . . poor-to-substandard retirement plan for newer employees
. . . just below average company relocation program
3) Employer
. . . remember, after a while, an office job at WDW is just a job
. . . good surroundings and nice work environment
. . . above-normal office politics, sometimes high-level
. . . many managers are well beyond their "Peter Principle"
. . . advancement based on "who you know"
. . . based upon job, the pay could be low
. . . especially compared to East or Northeast
NOTE: Above all, like any work place, it is what the individual employee
makes of it. If you can operate in a politically charged atmosphere, then
you should be fine.
